I'd do it again any day! Die Cinderella! But don't worry, I didn't murder you while you slept. I just held you down. It seems to me that Sleeping Beauty was jealous and killed you to have me.

I believe Drake purchased a potion.

Monk Pretzel is very happy to hear this, but Monk Pretzel does not like Ogres much.

Steampunk Mafia: A quick-shot Mafia game
Palathadric replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
1. I played, and won, as Alladin, the scum role cop, in Sandy's Fairytale Mafia School. 2. I think I should be, I may be taken by surprise, but I should be able to post every day...I think. 3. The only Mafia game I really followed was IMHOTEP. Tamamono's claim was quite amazing! -
General Discussion and Announcements
Palathadric replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
For sure. I got a great team mate for getting me introduced to Mafia. I really wonder how I would do as town. Somehow I don't see myself being able to convince anyone of my innocence. -
Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Conclusion
Palathadric replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
If I had been Town I think I would've voted for Snow, but at Mafia she was too useful to keep alive, because, if the need arose, it would've been fairly easy to force a lynch against her...I think. -
Not a problem. Monk Pretzel needs to win himself some converts in the hall anyway. I actually think it's a great idea to let the new fellows go on out on there own. It should be interesting. We were pretty much a newbie team as well, although we did have Leo and Benji. Wow! I wonder how people like Erik, Nagure, and Sorrow will get along with the children, eh? I pulled out already. When I accepted the duel I somehow didn't realize that you had a shield, and I forgot that only the weapon power counts. Sorry I haven't been on for a couple days.

When they talked about this being a quest for new heroes, I didn't realize just how new they had in mind. I thought they would at least have one senior citizen...perhaps we should make a quest of our own where we follow after them and protect them from danger. Who's paying? That's all I want to know, really. I hear a faint mutter behind me, but can't quite make out who said it. Probably that arrogant young Elf. What use will I be?!? I can fight you know...I just prefer not to.
-
This is an outrage!!! You are destroying the arena and trying to hold me accountable with you in your devious actions. Furthermore, the bets were bad, you scoundrel. I call the fight off at once, with immediate effect. Let the other heroes battle of they will. I doubt this will be the first battle Pretzel will back out of.

Darn it. Then I'm screwed, aren't I? Is there any way that I can actually deal damage to Leo then?

You must be incredibly patient to keep going on with this work for so long and perfecting each detail. I am most impressed. -
Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Conclusion
Palathadric replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks, Def. I was just wondering from an outside point of view, was it quite obvious to you all who was scum and who wasn't? I'd like to know this also from those who died early on in the game. -
Forgive me if I'm confused, but shouldn't I have dealt Leo 10 damage? The broom is a ranged weapon so, if I'm correct, it should deal full damage...I could be wrong though.

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Conclusion
Palathadric replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah, I just caught it, myself. Thanks! I got myself all mixed up, but would that really have been material you would have lynched me over? Calling the Role Cop a Scum Cop does not seem to make much of a difference, although I realized that I also called the cop and role cop, and that was not a good idea. -
Let's not overly negate the possibility.
-
I rush into the hall after Leo. Leo, how can I hit you with broomstick-turned-cross if you keep running out of the arena. I may call the fight off.
-
I continue my back row attack.

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Conclusion
Palathadric replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Something that annoyed me greatly was that I think I brought suspicion on myself for the dumbest reasons. I told myself, if I were a townie I don't think there would be much to discover on Day 1. Seriously, what are we supposed to look for? I also didn't really go for the concept of PMing people as I thought that a townie wasn't supposed to trust anyone, especially that early on. This, I believe, led people into thinking that my posts were unhelpful and that I was just being active to appear that I had contributed a lot. This was not the case at all. Several people also seemed to suspect me because I, apparently, was trying hard to "get cozy" with Cinderella. This was not true at all. I just thought that since in Heroica I am playing a stuffy monk, I would try a completely different person in this game. Unfortunately for me, I took the role-playing far to far. Cindy just so happened to be the one who latched onto me the most so that's why, I guess, it appeared like I was "going after her." I really never tried to get any information out of her, as far as I can remember, and I never attempted to make conversation with her out of the day thread, until she PMed me. Besides, I already had Sleeping Beauty milking Cindy for all the information she was worth. As for my constant worrying about whether my posts are clear or not, that really is a worry for me, as even the post I'm not really sure if I'm being clear or not. Maybe tomorrow when I read over it again I will see if it really said what I wanted it to. Evaluation of my team mates: Sleeping Beauty: You were the brains behind our team and I think we all, me and Rapunzel at least, would have been lynched very early on without you. You were the boss through and through. Although I think you made me panic sometimes more than was necessary, and vented somewhat unnecessarily on Rapunzel. Rapunzel: You started out, in my opinion worse than I did even, and I was surprised that the town seemed to be going after me almost more than they were on you, but I really enjoyed how you continued blindly accusing Cindy when everyone else around you was voting differently. You did great in your "playing dumb" on day 3 especially, and you ended up putting in some really good statements. Your blocking of Cindy was the best thing that could have possibly happened to we scum. In day three you made a great move in unvoting me especially after I specifically told you not to, and that it would look too scummy. Good move. Prince Charming: You seemed somehow more distant from us, although you communicated far more than Rapunzel, but I guess you quietly went about your work and managed to keep yourself in a grey shade on people's "suspect" lists rather than me and Rapunzel who stayed quite fixedly in the black. I think the time zone differences made it fairly difficult to communicate well amongst ourselves and for the most part, especially after day 2, our bad guy discussion was merely a two-person conversation between Sleeping Beauty and myself. Nevertheless, it was great. Alladin: Annoying at best. Got himself stupidly into trouble and failed, until day 3, to really even try to convince people of his innocence. He finally did, although it was too late, and he was always going to be the first scum to get lynched. Although, I'm glad none of us did. Was I the only one who wasn't active in PMing people? -
Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Conclusion
Palathadric replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I agree with you that convicting me or even Little Red Riding Hood on day 3 could have totally started a chain reaction of lynching first me, then Rapunzel, and then Charming. I am not sure if you would have caught on to Sleeping Beauty by then though or not. My main purpose in day 3 was to delay your voting me out. I was sure I was bound to die, but I wanted to dalay it for at least one day, so that it would only require one town lynch to make us win the game. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Witch and Puss put their trust in me in between Day 3 and Day 4 insomuch that I think, even without the penalty vote, we could have still forced a town lynch, but I could be wrong about this. I am sorry, I don't understand how I messed up? Claiming Hood was the scum cop was not good? Sleeping Beauty really was the one who took us through as we would have been rendered quite clueless without her. I could be wrong about this, but I thought it was quite interesting how most of the people who were on the bandwagon to get lynched hardly made an attempt at defending themselves, and how the scum, myself, was one of the only ones who actually did...and I was the only one who didn't end up getting lynched. You lied to me when you told me that you wouldn't vote for me, you scummy scum! I don't understand. How do you just come to suspect someone of being the Scum Blocker. What even made you think that? Was it based on anything at all or just, "hmmm, his post seem scummy," or what? -
Looking forward to these, Sandy!

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Conclusion
Palathadric replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I wasn't actually playing the newbie. I was being perfectly honest. I've never played Mafia before in my life. I think on the 3rd day the town were really afraid as they didn't want to make a wrong lynch as a wrong lynch would have killed them off entirely. Unfortunatly I cannot multiquote PMs, otherwise I could have sent you our whole "Bad Guy PM chain," it's actually kind of funny to read through. I would love to know who everyone's suspects were when the game first began and who they suspected as the game went on. It would be interesting. I still can't stop thinking of that argument I had with Kadabra and insisting to town that Cindy trusted me and not her! So much fun...but I'll admit...we were lucky. -
Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Conclusion

Ooops, double posted. Thanks for the great game Sandy. It was fascinating, and RPGer you are blocked the wrong person and that is how we killed Bear. Wow! What luck for us. Really at the beginning of day two we were already almost completely sure who the town role powers were thanks to Sleeping Beauty. Good work, mate. I had a lot of fun role-playing at the beginning of the game, but I think it almost cost me my life. Stupid me. Mafia is not the game for that sort of thing! -
Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Conclusion
Palathadric replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wow! Great to see that we won. Day 3 was definitely the awesomest day. We knew all throughout Day 2 that Cindy was the doc. When she sent us the PM about her being the doc, Charming saw it first and freaked. I got the same message so I was like, "Huh?" and then Sleeping Beauty clarfied things. That was a great time. I had originally planned to take out LRRH and give Kadabra no chance of playing, while RPGer blocked Cindy, but Sleeping Beauty went for the kill on Cindy. I was a bit annoyed honestly. Day three was awesome though. I had planned to claim to know the cop and to accuse LRRH before she had a chance to accuse me, but I couldn't get online in time so she accused me first. It was really great putting together my defense with Sleeping Beauty. We were planning on faking PMs from Cindy, but somehow Sleeping Beauty never came through to help me with that. By the end of the day we just wanted to force a tie vote. I could be wrong, but honestly I think we would have downed a townie whether or not JaseTJ had received "bonus" votes, but I could be wrong about this. I was really scared of Cindy in the beginning, but Sleeping Beauty played her so well against herself that she was one of our most valuable assets actually since almost everyone seemed to trust her, for what reason I do not know. Honest Puss, Wicked Witch, and Big Bad Wolf were the three I was the most afraid of and I was so relieved when BBW was killed in the first round. I really think I learned a lot from this game. Unfortunately, I started very poorly with too much role-playing, and I practically cried out scum from the first day. When you seem scummy the first day it is almost impossible to mend your relationships. I think I also didn't PM people nearly enough which caused Jack to be suspicious when I PMed him. Great game though. I would love to see all the PMs that were flying back and forth. Great game y'all! -
Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr

Yes, I checked. You can check too if you want. I believe the conclusion of that battle was around page 50. I had 33 gold during the battle and Benji awarded me with 11 gold from the battle. Thanks, and sorry I didn't notice it earlier. -
I like Daxus' new look. Battle ready.
