  1. I was thinking that it may be interesting to have a "Whodunnit," as a quest, where somebody is murdered and the questers have to solve the mystery murder in a house. There would not be battles, so not much experience would be gained that, but I was thinking possibly of giving each party member 5 levels of experience at the end of the quest if it is completed successfully. Alternatively, they could receive XP if they show alertness and discover certain things. Don't know if anyone has mentioned this idea before, but I think it may be interesting although it is nowhere near in the works.
  2. Convert, Leo, convert. I will not have this fight in vain!
  3. We are on. I think my stats are good, right?
  4. I accept the duel. I attack Leo Aragorn from the back row with my Cross (Nimbus Broomstick).
  5. Being a Level 5 Cleric and having a (WP:5) weapon makes my power 9 or 10?
  6. Eric rushes into the marketplace, about my business. Suddenly, I come rushing in behind him, peering over his should to make sure he follows my orders exactly and does not pocket any change or try to swindle me. He approaches Portia's Potion Shack. "I a need tonic for his eminence..." I nod approvingly. "...Monk Pretzel. Also a Phoenix Essence. That will cost a total of..." "65," I whisper to him. "65 gold," he says. I nod approvingly again. We head over to Gnomeo's Toolshed. "One bedroll for his honorary, Monk Pretzel," says Eric, "at the cost of 5 gold." I smile smugly. Eric was learning his role quickly. We bypass Anwyl Smokebeard's Smithy. The dwarf looks too evil. I stay a safe distance away while Eric approaches Elphaba's Magic Wagon. "A Nimbus Broomstick for the old man," he says disrespectfully, knowing that I cannot hear him. "That will cost 50 gold," says Elphaba. Eric hands over the coins and brings the items to me. "Good," I mutter. I then hand my staff over to Eric and he sells it for 15 gold. I have bought a Tonic, Phoenix Essence, Bedroll, and Nimbus Broomstick, and have sold my staff. I now have 169-15-50-5-50+15 gold=64 gold. Quickly I unfasted my cross from the staff and attach it to the broom stick. Ready to bash anyone into seeing the light. With that settled, I head over to the arena. Eric following me in tow, carrying my cart and my bounty.
  7. "First, let me make sure Eric is doing my bidding at the market place. With these barbarians one can never be too sure." I rush off to the market place in pursuit of Eric.
  8. "25 gold and a conversion," I demand.
  9. I would not pay 25 gold if I lose. However, if it's a one way wager, then I'll take it. If Monk Pretzel bashes Leo with his cross, Leo should "see the light".
  10. "How, exactly, would I be helping you?" Suddenly, I notice Eric rushing into the hall. "What took you so long, Eric my lad, quick be off with you. To the market place. I wrote out a list of items for you to purchase for me. I do hope you can read, or do I have to teach you that as well?" I turn back to Leo, "You were saying?"
  11. I don't recall saying that killing Canute was against my religion. Besides, I didn't kill him, you did...or was it Benji?
  12. A confused look crossed my face, "What?!? But I said I would not duel with you. I cannot. It is against my religion. I only said I would wish you well if you helped me. You cannot tempt me to do this. Don't think my resolve will weaken by your attempt to flatter my vanity. I have none."
  13. Thanks, I suppose if I have the bedroll I don't need to worry a whole lot about ether, right?
  14. Sorry lad, it the church does not accept such barbaric manners of combat. However, if you could help me solve a dilemma I face, I would thank you, and maybe wish you well in whatever combat you engage in. "What would you advise me to purchase a Healing Staff or a Nimbus Broomstick. Also, how useful have you found your bedroll in enabling you to regain health? Also, do you think I should purchase a Phoenix Essence? It is a fairly useful object."
  15. Thank you so much, Scubbacarrot. But pretty much, I wouldn't really need tonics if I have the bedroll, right? Besides 1 or 2 maybe in case I need to take one during a battle. Would you advise me getting the Healing Staff or the Nimbus Broomstick?
  16. Yeah, use them as bases. I don't have many pieces compared to most people here, so I use almost every piece I have when I make a MOC. Anything that I shouldn't be seen on the outside is used as the support.
  17. Wow! That set has a hell of a lot of minifigs.
  18. Does the bedroll restore full health and ether after the battle? Or is it for taking a break during the battle? Also the arm-mounted shield I have can be upgraded right, or is it a special Draugr shield that cannot be tampered with? Something else I'd like to ask: If I have the Scroll of Confusion I have a 50/50 chance of confusing someone. If they are confused, do they still have a 50/50 chance of attacking one of their own players, therefore giving only a 25% chance of being effective? One other thing is, what is the benefit of having a healing staff, does it enable me to heal people better or to heal without using ether, or what? I guess the Nimbus Broomstick is a ranged weapon, right?
  19. I rush into the hall. It seems rather empty just as it was when I left it last time. This is not the greatest of hangout spots, I'll wager. Miserable place! I think. I rush towards the quest board and look at the available quests. I see only one. Ah, well, worth a shot. It's a short one anyway, so I may be back before a new one opens. I, Monk Pretzel, and My 99 Pieces, sign up for Quest #32: The Lost Children. I look around to see if anyone has noticed me, but they all seem fairly engrossed in what they're doing so I turn and take a stroll out of the hall. As I pass along on the streets of Eubric I can't help but wonder what had brought me to this wretched city. But then I stop by the market place and see gold be exchanged freely and I remember... I return to the hall and approach Benji. "Good man, how much do I owe you for the Phoenix Essence you used on me? Also, I would like to ask what do you think I should invest my money in at the market place. I will need a couple of tonics at least, but what would you advise me to purchase? I am fairly sure that I can trust your counsel." "I was thinking of purchasing a bedroll and I was wondering if that can be used to regain full ether and health after a battle. If so then I will definitely take it. I should probably still take tonic though. I was also thinking of purchasing either the Healing Staff or the Nimbus Broomstick. I will possibly take a scroll too, although all of this depends on the amount of gold I have. Possibly the Scroll of Confusion or something, although I understand that that particular one is not as reliable in its use as the other ones, or maybe instead of the scroll I will upgrade my shield, but what do you suggest?
  20. I was at 33 gold during the battle and Benji gave me 11 at the end, so I should have had 44...and now 125 more=169 gold. Could you just let me know if the stats in my signature are good and in the right format?
  21. Thank you very much, and I'm glad you didn't send me back to the hall. This is my first quest so I really don't know what to say. When it started out I was the only one getting KO'ed, but I thought the battles were maybe a bit too easy, at the end though we survived a couple of those battles by the skin of our teeth. All-in-all, though, I'd say they were good. Although, I don't speak from experience. Once again, thanks so much for choosing me to go on your quest.
  22. I don't think you added the gold I won in the fight we had to free the prisoners. It was 11 gold for me. I don't know whether you added it to the others stats or not. Also, do I get restored to full ether once I get back to the hall or is it only the health that returns fully?
  23. I can wear/use both the Draugr's shield and the helmet at the same time, right?
  24. Sorry. Wrong voting format. vote: Little Mermaid(JaseTJ)
