I look up from my writing. The female Evoker, Alexis, is there again. "No, I do not believe I did. I have, in fact, just returned from a quest. Quest #24 to be exact. I was with a rather wicked team, I have to say. Involved in all sorts of lewd behaviour. There was Benji the Fornicator, Alisha the...well, Barbarian suits her quite nicely, Leo the Haughty, and Daxus the Theif. I held the team together, really. At least Benji's fornications did not prevent him from being able to lead the team somewhat. In the end, I lead the team to victory alongside him. Enough said, but can you imagine that the party leader would desert their team whilst the team fought a grueling battle, in order to...I cannot say it. Anyhow, we hunted down a Draugr. Filthy evil thing. Slew it at the end! I picked up this shield and helmet from it, but I re-modelled them so they wouldn't look so evil. Oh, and don't worry, I prayed a cleansing prayer over them so they are no longer demon-possessed. Honestly, when I first received them, I was thinking of selling them off to another hero, but I'm not so sure about that. I guess if somebody offers a decent price for them...they are quite useful, you know? That was the first quest I have been on, by the way. What of yourself, have you been around the hall for long?"

Unfortunately, Qui-Gon Jinn was the only one who could master it, and he is not around.

Steampunk Mafia: Confirmation & Discussion
Palathadric replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Totally agree. Fantastically interesting concept and great playing. It's very fascinating watching it progress and making conclusions as to who is good and who is bad. Well played you all! ...well, most of you. -
I survey the situation around me as I thoughtfully munch on a pretzel. Most of the heroes around me are utterly unfamiliar to me. This could be largely due to the fact that the hall had been almost empty when I first arrived. Most of the people I had spoken with had quested with me. There was the one evil magic practitioner who had a black cat and a falcon following him too, but he was nowhere to be seen. Thank God for preventing me from being near such a viciously evil boy! I think. I then begin to notice the fine weaponry and bags of gold those around me have. I wonder how they got all that gold? I wonder. Perhaps, I should study there tactics? Maybe I should visit the library. I get up to set about going, but then I sit back down. Slowly I take up my quill and begin writing again. I must not allow myself to be distracted for the moment, maybe later...

Honestly, I'm having a hard enough time keeping up-to-date with the present quests, but I'm succeeding thankfully. Most of the quests that were going on when I joined I also read. I do intend to read all of the past ones at some point, or at least fly through them. Sometime when I've got a lot of time to kill.

The minifigs in the Edoras set are truly brilliant. Fantastic work! The style of these sets is totally something TLG could make themselves. Edoras really is fantastic. Looking forward to seeing more of these.

Was that the WANTED sign beside Cleric Wulf in the first picture? Darn it and it says $1,000,000 reward. That's a heck of a lot of gold in Eubric.
-
Oh, yes, this is what I wanted to ask Capt.JohnPaul. Did we miss anything? Were there are other battle that we could have participated in, besides the battle we ran away from? Or any other puzzles we could have completed?

I am glad Monk Pretzel can be counted in as one of the sane ones... ...Or, I guess not. It must be something to do with the hall... What's creepy about another hero using your name as his second self? I think you should be flattered. Agree with you totally. Good work Tanma and Zepher. Maybe that's the general idea... ...just saying.

I just uploaded it onto brickshelf. It always gives me an error message when I upload directly from my computer. And Anakin, I may be your trainer, but I would let you know that I'm keeping my eye on you. Thankfully, George Lukas gave us a little hint as to what you will become.
-
That's what I tried doing, but it didn't work. Maybe I'll try again. Otherwise I'll just upload it through bricklink. Nope, uploading from my computer doesn't work.

For some reason I cannot change my avatar to Obi-Wan's picture. Don't know why.
-
Well, in truth, you can also explicitly trust R2-D2 and Mace Windu. C3PO couldn't hurt a fly, so...just saying Seriously, I really hate Obi-Wan and Mace Windu's face. LEGO really could have done better with them. Totally! If he's not a bad guy now, he will turn out to be one. ...I should know. Too bad my master isn't around.
-
Obi-Wan Kenobi signing in for duty. Hey, I don't even know whether I'm a good guy or a bad guy ...well, I guess Obi-Wan Kenobi couldn't be a bad guy, right? ...Come on, say, "Yes!"
-
"Hey, wait! You have to pay for that! ...I said you have to pay for that!" I turn to Alexis. "Tell him he has to pay for that." I pick up the newspaper Benji deposited beside me and quickly stuff it into my cart before anyone can see.
-
I was also very disappointed to see him leave. Nobody likes Monk Pretzel...I feel so unliked. But more seriously...you may be right. Wow! I am definitely going with this. I would change the name to "Priest" instead of "Priest of Ennoc." Monk Pretzel may not take too kindly to the latter. By the way, I love your character, Etzel. Maurice is the one person it seems that Monk Pretzel could actually get along with. I don't see myself being any of the classes that tie in with main houses. Although I totally see myself becoming a prophet ultimately! I honestly don't see Monk Pretzel being shaped by much. He is over 400 after all. He is definitely fairly stuck in the way he is...but things may change.
-
No. I made them myself. I don't recall buying the ingredients though... Just as Alexis takes the pretzel, I call, "Ah, ha! You take it...you pay for it!"
-
Evidenly didn't stick by this for long, eh?
-
"Pretzels...I love Pretzels." I grab two and stuff them in my mouth and then proffer one to Alexis. A price tag hangs down from it.

I had waddled over to the quest board, but kept an ear on what was going on around me. I now returned to the table and answered a few of the pending questions. "Everyone knows there is more than one God?! I beg to differ, Alisha. Besides, what do you know about gods? You are just a heathen barbarian. Any religion you have will be a bloodthirsty and violent one. God is in no support for the kind of crimes you and yours commit. You are sorry person, and I suggest you listen because this may be your last chance to do so. The judgements of God fall swiftly and mercilessly on the unrepentant." "Benji seems fine, Miss...or is it Madame? ...but in truth he is not altogether fine. It is one such as he that devils can use the most, for he seems fine, so people look up to him, but deep inside his heart...need I say more? I do not like frightening children such as yourself. I can understand why you would not have heard of God. Most people seem to think Elven folk have no need of God. That is a lie. Elven folk need God just as much as humans. Others have a hard time explaining why, but I have many scrolls on the subject in my cart. If you are interested in learning I would be more than willing to speak to you. I make an excellent teacher, especially when the pay is good..." "Quite wrong, Alisha. I have found my place in the world very well and have both feet firmly placed on the ground. I have my convictions and know what is true and false. You, on the other hand, have proven, and quite succinctly so, that you are not standing on your two feet. You do one thing and say another. You do something confidently one moment and then regret it immediately after. Sorry, Alisha, but I would not call that having your place in the world. "Miss...Alexis, was it? ...I really wouldn't advise you following Alisha and Benji anywhere. With those two you cannot know for sure what kinds of activities they may engage in. It is better to stay here. At least, you will be more the wiser for doing so. Benji said he was starving...but I believe there may have been a double meaning in that." "No, I just went to see what was the commotion by the quest board. I signed up for two quests, you know. I really think the first one suits me better. Finding relics is just the thing I am an expert at doing. Vampire killing with a bunch of rogues...ack...but if it pays... I would like to congratulate you on not choosing to follow Benji and Alisha. You chose well, and now you have no part in their sin and, would you look at that, you even prevented them from sinning. You are a good disciple, Alexis. It is your destiny." "Pretzels anyone?" "Is that it? Has Leo left for good? What a lousy way to say goodbye. It is unfortunate, but I think his soul may be damned forever. He was so close to the truth, but he rejected it all the moment he left the hall. Poor fellow. But he was rather sassy and unbelieving the majority of the time, so I suppose God had to remove his blessing. Off he goes chasing a dream it seems. It is an odd thing, really. One moment he is sleeping in the hall, then he wakes up angry and demands a duel with Benji and then, upon losing, promptly leaves, saying there is no more to learn. Odd indeed. One would think that losing would make him realize that there is still a whole lot for him to learn." "And now we have another of these damned thief-looking fellows in this hall. As I say all these things, I take my painting kit out of my cart and begin diligently painting over the skull face on my new shield. Thank God, I already cast the demons out of this vile piece. I would sell it, but...God must have given it to me for a reason, besides, I doubt it would do anyone else any good, as demon-possessed as it surely is. God entrusted it into my hands, because He knew I am the only one with spiritual power enough to wield it and not be overcome by it.

I sign up for quest #33 and quest #34. Leaning more towards quest #33 though.

Jedi Temple Mafia - Sign Up Thread
Palathadric replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
"including" you? Isn't it more like, solely you? I didn't PM anyone on day one of "Bedtime Story." -
What was the last movie you watched?
Palathadric replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Oddly enough, Terminator Salvation was the only movie I have ever fallen asleep watched. Don't know why. It can't have been that boring. -
It seems a bit cluttered for my tastes, but would probably be fun to build.

Yeah! Get Arthur out of the quest! Leave him behind! Monk Pretzel will take his place. That's me.
