  1. "Good point. Let's try and see. If we go all the way back to square one we may as well step outside and see what happens when we enter again." We follow Erdathcath's plan.
  2. Interesting. I want to play around with these settings a bit and see what I come up with. Thanks for sharing.
  3. My problem with the theory of Artemis being a Servant of Loki and influencing a poor, innocent Hervi is that, if that were the case, I would assume that the real investigator would have shown up by now to sort the thing out. Besides, it would serve us a third Servant of Loki on a platter ready for the lynching. However, no such investigator has shown up. Not today and not yesterday either, which leads me to assume that either Artemis is in fact our investigator, or that the real investigator is already dead. I do think Hervi would be a worthwhile lynch for today. As I said yesterday there is so much tied up around him and Bergulf that if we can finally lynch one of them, it will help us to see "the light" in quite a few areas, I believe. Yesterday, I thought that Bergulf would be a better lynch, because in case they both turn out to be town, I would rather have Hervi alive than dead. However, now I am seeing that more is tied to Hervi than Bergulf, so we would certainly learn more from Hervi's death than from Bergulf's. Therefore, I think Hervi is the best lynch for today. I still think Bergulf is damningly suspicious, but I definitely think one of them should go today, unless something incredibly worthwhile shows up for us to go on. I would also like to draw attention to Sigmund who has done little but vote. Of course, there are one or two others like him, but he has struck me as the most suspicious.
  4. "Let's do that then. Should we proceed by taking all rights or going straight forward once we get back to the beginning?"
  5. Is there anything telling us that he could kill at night though, apart from the spear thing from today's newspaper? If there was, forgive me for missing it.
  6. But what does it help us, exactly? Sure there are reasons for talking about...well...anything. Even just speaking utter nonsense, but how does it help us to speculate? What is there to speculate about anyway? Either "The Foog" was the vig or he wasn't. Does anyone have any facts to support whether he was not? I kind of doubt it. Does the evidence lean towards him being the vig way? In most cases, yes. In others, no. How much more is there to say about this? Not much. Great! So how did this help us? The fact is that if he was the vig, he is dead and is not killing for us anymore, not that he ever did...but I see no need to carry on. This probably doesn't help us either.
  7. The question still stands. Why are you ignoring the question posed and instead correcting him for using the wrong name? As far as voting late is concerned, I knew the votes would be closed very soon after I changed my vote, in fact, I thought he may close them at any moment and, I must have counted wrong, but I thought there was only eleven votes cast, so I quickly added mine to ensure a lynch. I had also stated several times previously that I was hesitating between Bergulf and Gerrid, but I though Bergulf slightly more suspicious. Although it's nice to think that "The Foog" was our vigilante, there really is no indication of it except from the text shown us which said something about him not being able to find his spear. Apart from that, there has never been anything to suggest that there ever was three killers, but this point doesn't really matter, because, whether "The Foog" was a vigilante or not, he is now dead, so I see know real purpose in wasting time speculating about it.
  8. Agreed. The lighting, especially, really suits the scenes. Thanks so much TinyPiesRUs!
  9. "Or we try going straight. Did you see any code or possible indication that we should look out for to help us on our way or do you think whoever built these tunnels just relied entirely on their memory?
  10. Once again, this looks set to be a fantastic quest, Etzel.
  11. "Any chance that you would know the quickest way through this place? I kind of doubt it because you, yourself, didn't get through, but if you know that'd be great." While I speak I already begin heading back to follow the directions Erdathcath had already given.
  12. "Since the gold bars will not fit in your new satchel, I'll take the gold bars and you can take the coins." "Although, I think we should first see if the graven image is of any value. Be it far from me to actually hold onto it or accept it, but perhaps you could sell it or something. I guess for now hold onto the coins and statue and I'll put the bars in my cart."
  13. I look on sceptically. "How exactly will defreezing this man help us, I wonder. More likely just cause us problems. I suggest we split the gold up quickly, so he doesn't claim a portion for himself or something. You know, better not to leave the temptation out for him to fall into. I hope this fellow doesn't spell trouble. Hopefully, he'll be able to show us the way out. Don't hit him too hard or he'll be rendered utterly senseless."
  14. "We should probably get moving though. Time is passing by faster than we may think. Down here we can't exactly see the sun, and therefore we may be spending a lot more time then our minds tell us we are. From what I could calculate, the last room we travelled through took us about one minute to go across. That's one lengthy room, if you ask me!"
  15. Okay, so you're not ready to read through the notes of the scribes concerning this day, but you're ready to throw away your vote because you feel "threatened?" What is going on here anyway? How does this help us in any way? I have to say that you've been a very poor contributor thus far. You could have at least placed a vote where it counted. Are you trying to respond to a thread by threatening the person? How does that help anyone? I hope you will not always vote based on your "own independent reasoning" when threats and tone are the only things you look at in your reasoning.
  16. Because, we've got to lynch someone and you're darn suspicious. I had my vote against Bergulf...actually... Unvote: Bergulf (badboytje88) Vote: Gerrid (Captain Genaro) Just in case I failed to do so. You two were top of my suspicion list earlier on and have only gotten moreso, but we cannot end this day without a lynch and some...people...are making you the only available person to truly vote against. I would much prefer Bergulf being lynched than you, but the fact is that it's not going to happen no matter what I say or do at this point.
  17. Furthermore, I don't like how the three seemed to push the bandwagon towards Gerrid. If we had lynched Bergulf, we could have some pretty clear indications tomorrow morning on which side the pig lad is on, but it seems that the three of them are trying to avoid that. Why is that? Does Gerrid really strike you as being more suspicious, or is he just convenient?
  18. Not sure if there are enough votes. Will have to go back and count up, but since we need to lynch and the day is almost over, I vote: Gerrid: Captain Genaro. I don't like this. Honestly, I see us learning a whole lot more from Bergulf's lynch then Gerrid's but I did find Gerrid suspicious which is why I am placing my vote. I strongly dislike the way Hervi, Mursi, and Dragmall are just brushing over Snotra's words as if they don't matter and, in some instances, laughing them off. They seem to be brushing over his legitimate concerns way to easily and instead of responding to his questions in a clear, concise manner, nitpick at the tone. What's up with that?
  19. "How much are those bars worth would you wager?" I question, as I hold my new staff at the ready for a smart conversionive manuevre should there be anything in the trunk.
  20. Rurik makes some excellent points. I think even if Hervi is not scum, there is still a huge possibility that old Bergulf is. I'm a bit stuck between him and Gerrid, but I think I'll follow up my vote from yesterday by: Vote: Bergulf (badboytje88) Hervi and Dragmall is what you "discovered" or whatever about one another something that needs to be kept secret? If so, I can leave it at that for now. If not, I'd really like to understand what the devil is going on.
  21. Wow! This has taken forever to listen to and dissect! One thing is clear though. We have to get a lynch done today. In my mind the vote is split between Gerrid, Dragmaul, Hervi, and Bergulf. Who to choose? Well, since Hervi and Dragmaul have the most votes, I would tend to go for one of them. From what I've seen, I would say that Hervi is the more suspicious. Since the beginning I thought his interactions with Danr and Bergulf have been suspicious, but then I don't like the way Dragmaul defended himself. One reason I would like to keep Hervi alive over Dragmaul is that Hervi actually tend to try to get things done, whereas Dragmaul, if he is town, would seem to be less of a loss then if Hervi were to sie as town. I don't know which way to go at present. The problem is that they both could be town who just got tangled up in the wrong mess. Much too confusing. I would prefer to go for Bergulf or Gerrid, but it would be pointless if we can't get enough votes to lynch. It seems to me that if we lynch Bergulf and he comes up scum it is more than likely that Hervi is scum too. I've got to sleep off this drunkeness now...
  22. "It's incredible how long it can take sometimes to investigate a pile of gold. It's got to be my eyesight! I'm not 200 anymore, you know."
  23. Bah, humbug! Monk Pretzel would never stand for it. ...I think.
  24. "My rolling chest, that is. Not the chest of my breast. How do you think this staff will look once I convert it into a cross? Just think, a diamond at its heart! Beautiful! I think that I may need to plate it with shiny steel though once I get back to the hall. We'll see, I suppose.
  25. Wow! Where are those gold bars from? "I agree, but I will quickly scan the chest for traps to make sure that there are no traps or something. Then we can load it into my chest or your satchel and be on our way. I have to say that I have never been on a quest with only one other person, but it may end up being even more rewarding.
