  1. Vash, I'm trying to see how to distribute the loot. I think Erik will get the Armour and you will get the Shield. Erik will also get the most mileage on the Grating Stone, but he's already got the axe, so I don't know if it'll be overkill. If you give Pretzel the Shako's Helmet then he would no longer need the tricorne in which case he could give it to someone else. Nessa has only really got the Opal this quest, so I'd give it to her, but her Ranger's Quiver is unsuitable to any of the rest of us. I'm not sure how interested you are in keeping the Gloves of the Undead Assassin, but you being a Black Knight it's probably not best in your hand's anyway, so perhaps I could give you the Tricorne and you give those to Nessa, but I'd like to know what you think. Sylph doesn't deserve any loot anymore.
  2. But if the damage to the shield is permanent than CJP should have a heck of a lot less SP after his bout with Sylph in the arena. I think it should last only one battle, but Endgame created the bow.
  3. I doubt any hero would buy the Great Sword so you may as well sell it for 15 gold to Anwyl.
  4. But you can sell it to heroes for more than that. For example, if a hero wanted to buy a WP: 8 Club he would have to buy a Fauxtril one and upgrade it so it would be 50 + 60 + 70 + 80 gold or 260 gold. You can still sell it for 40 gold if you want, but you could sell it also for much higher if you find someone willing to buy it. It's up to you though.
  5. CMP, I don't think Sylph's bow would work that way, because it only effects the battle. If he were attacking one of us it wouldn't permanently remove our SP. Although it is a great idea.
  6. "Excellent! He's sealed. Let's finish him!" I attack the Iron Mongrel from the Front Row with the Cross of Light if he's Blinded or from the Back Row with my Flying Cross if he's not. CMP, I think you can autoroll a couple of rounds, if possible, since our actions won't change unless he's Blinded in which case Sylph will attack him or until he's no longer Sealed. Obviously, all of us besides Sylph and Nessa will fight from the Front Row if he's blinded.
  7. I tend to agree. Even if there is no healing it's pretty hard on heroes who spent all that money to buy and imbue gems. Also it will probably cut down the number of elemental damage-dealing enemies which would render their purchases even less useful, but... As soon as our game manager leaves, people start spreading these false doctrines.
  8. Stupid me. I didn't mean for Pretzel to fight in the back row. "Well that fool is down. Let's look to the other. Uh, oh, where did that demon fellow disappear to?" I seal the Mongrel. "Follow the druid's ideas for actions."
  9. "Ah, ha! My angel stands guard. Pile on him and only stop if he's defeated. Battle Order: Dreyrugr: Dragon Dan (Crow-Claw Dagger) Erik: Dragon Dan (Titanic Axe or if Dragon Dan Defeat Attack Mongrel with Voltedge) >Nessa: Dragon Dan (Silver Crossbow) >Sylph: Dragon Dan (Shrapnel Bow or if Defeated Blind Iron Mongrel) >Pretzel: Dragon Dan (Cross of Light or if Defeated Seal Iron Mongrel)
  10. Thanks. Definitely interested.
  11. Could you remind me what the strength of the Dulpovian Helmet is. I can't seem to load the page.
  12. I attack Dragon Dan from the Back Row my Cross of Light. "Not bad, druid, but I would put Erik up higher on the list, should he succeed in petrifying our target, nevertheless, I suppose for the time it's more worthwhile to get his armour down, so let's roll with your plan."
  13. Just realized now that Pretzel and Mizuki were both arguing about how we killed the Death Progg in our respective quests at the same time.
  14. Pah! Excuses, excuses!
  15. So long as she doesn't appear with pale green face it should be fine. Of course if she starts flirting with members of the party...well that's a different story.
  16. Hint, hint. Quest #48, Endgame.
  17. Battle Order: >Pretzel: Dragon Dan (Cross of Light) >Sylph: Blind Dragon Dan >Dreyrugr: Repeat (Front Row if Sylph Successful) >Erik: Repeat (Front Row if Sylph Successful) >Nessa: Repeat CMP, I think perhaps you can just roll this round since I really don't think the others will change their action and from the looks of it, this battle may be a slightly longer one.
  18. Did I forget to mention that Sarge should totally stay a rogue. He would be the biggest money-making thief ever.
  19. Send my condolences to Sarge, but he should only get 9 gold from that strike not 396.
  20. "My Flying Cross is imbued with the elements of wind and fire. He's immune to wind through his shield and fire as well, not to mention that just being who he is, he's already immune to fire, so I think he will be quite immune to the blows of my cross."
  21. I like Pretzel as he is too, but it's rather tiresome writing for him and I'm afraid that if I grow too tired of writing for him that I'll begin to slip up in writing his character, but let's see.
  22. "How could I become like you? Demons are demons. Demons are not humans. A humanic demon is merely a demon-possessed human, yet still a human. I could never become like you and if for some reason I were to contact some malady that would make me appear somewhat like a demon, I could easily remedy it. Tell me, demon, did you contract your demonism? Were you once a human? I doubt it, but I have a point to make and for the sake of the others, I will take the time to ask this question of you." Battle Order: >Pretzel: Heal Dreyrugr (Not sure if I should do this or not, the loss of health is great if Dragon Dan is blind, but not so useful if Dreyrugr has to be fighting from the back row) >Sylph: Blind Dragon Dan >Dreyrugr: Repeat (Front Row if Sylph Successful) >Erik: Repeat (Front Row if Sylph Successful) >Nessa: Repeat CMP, Dragon Dan is still Sealed, right?
  23. "God seems to be restraining us for the time to allow us to sort out this argument, or so it seems. You may want to ensure that if I'm successful you Blind Dragon Dan instead of Sealing him again."
  24. Meh! Same here. Looking at Pretzel back in the day when he first joined Heroica, he considered Leo a heathen for worshiping Ennoc, so he's become a lot more mild actually. I've tried to keep his character fairly consistent, but it's rather difficult. Honestly, when I found that I was questing with De'kra in my last quest, I was worried how that would go, because I just can't see Pretzel not getting into arguments and actively trying to kill such creatures, but with Dreyrugr it's even worse, especially since Dreyrugr is probably, in Pretzel's mind, the worst of the worst heroes in Heroica. I don't know why he hasn't bopped Dreyrugr over the bean with his steak yet, but perhaps he's a bit afraid of him. I don't know. Anyway, I generally try to avoid conflicts, so I do feel a bit like a fish out of water when writing for Pretzel in this way which is why I dreaded questing with heroes like you or De'kra, but I think I actually did relatively well in arguing for him thus far. I don't see any easy way for him to back down. Maybe his voice will die. Honestly, Dreyrugr seems more the type that would give up in arguing with Pretzel, but I'm sure I'll think of something...hopefully soon.
  25. That's diplomatic!
