  1. <p>Maybe because there never was one to begin with? &nb Maybe because there never was one to begin with? Hmm...you know, you should be able to just ask Tam if he made a mistake or not. The only person whose allegiance would have been plain if Tam clarified was Dexter and he's already dead, so I don't see any reason why, if you are speaking truthfully about this whole deal, he should not clarify for you (but I could be just unfamiliar with how our godfather works). Honestly, though, if Tam had counted Dexter among those who had raised suspicions of you, then I'm well-nigh 100% certain of your being scum, because Colin seems to obviously be town (or SK, for the insistence of some ) despite what Candy would have us believe, and I know I'm not scum, but, of course, you only have my word to go on for that. If it boils down to it, I would add Peter. Like Cebastien I haven't really seen much that shouts "scum" nor a whole lot that should "town", but he tips slightly more to the scummy side than Cebastien, in my opinion. If Colin were blocked, assuming that the "silenced from talking" has to do with being blocked, then Colin can't have been blocked "at the first opportunity." Meh, that last bit didn't come out right, but I think you get my point.
  2. "Umm, what? Do you have the right person? "This is my stated action:"
  3. That's why some of us use Brickshelf. And I just noticed some errors in the party loot document I've been keeping. Took me forever to look through the whole quest and see where I made the errors, but I think it's over now. ...And now comes the really hard part.
  4. "Let's start with us all giving our items back to those who owned them. Erik, this Heavy Armour I gave to you originally." I hand Erik the Lighter Armour. I believe those Smoke Bombs in all of your possession are mine, correct? Oh, and I'm still carrying 70 gold of party treasury. I return 70 gold to the party. "Erik, the Hunters Plate is the devils, and the Emerald Hood is the Druids. "Demon the Dragonsbrand Shield and the Muckraker are mine! "Nessa, the Pseudos Hood is the devils, and the Hide of the Suffering and the Merry Bow are the druids. "Druid, the Ethereal Cloak and the Robe of the Archmagi are mine, the Scroll of Ice Armour is the demons...did I forget anything? Received/Taken: Dreyrugr: Mulled Wine, Phoenix Essence, 190 Gold, SP: 8 (Fire, Wind), Grand Potion, WP: 13 (Earth, Water/Weakening) Erik: Mead, Twin Axe WP: 5, Bone, Flash Bomb, Phoenix Essence, Lighter Armour SP: 4, Mulled Wine Nessa: Opal, Tricorne, Mulled Wine Pretzel: Soothing Slippers, SP: 5 (Fire), Strategist Shako Sylph: Robe of the Magi, Bone, 60 Gold, Morning Star (WP: 9), Mulled Wine, WP: 8 (Slowed) Used/Given Permanently (Please correct me if I'm wrong.: Dreyrugr: SP: 5 (Fire), Smelling Salts (2) = 50 Gold, SP: 5 (Fire) Erik: 3 Bones = 15 Gold Nessa: Smelling Salts, Potion (3) = 40 Gold Pretzel: Smoke Bomb (2), Tricorne, Remedy, Grand Tonic (2), Neutralizer, Tonic = 265 Sylph: Tonic (3), Smoke Bomb = 50 Gold Loot Received-Given: Dreyrugr: 255, SP: 8 (Fire, Wind), WP: 13 (Earth, Water, Weakening), -SP: 5 (Fire) Erik: 120, Twin Axe WP: 5, Lighter Armour Nessa: 235, Pretzel: Soothing Slippers, SP: 5 (Fire) Strategist Shako (200 Gold?), -265 Sylph: 100, WP:9, WP: 8 (Slowed) Undistributed Loot: Grating Stone Garnet Emerald 830 Gold Grand Elixir (x5) For the record, I'm not including what was purchased as "loot," not am I counting what was dug up. CMP, you forgot to deduct the 200 gold from Dreyrugr. I'm sure Vash doesn't mind. I couldn't keep track of Sylph's use of tonics and how many he got, nor Nessa's use of potions, but Sylph started with 5 tonics and now has 3, plus he bought one. Nessa started with eight potions and now has five.
  5. "Also, Scamander, I don't recall you ever answering to the question of why you put Fleyra and Maxi to sleep as soon as you found out that they had gotten a "Nephilim" result on their investigating Brienne."
  6. When did you say that? Well, perhaps Candy was the one that was supposed to switch votes since she's already behaving so scummy, and you're annoyed that she didn't get the chance. Hmm? Although, having not been around at the time, I have no idea whether Candy was or not.
  7. I blind Brienne and shoot Cromeo. "Why are you keeping me blind. Do you not like my action?"
  8. Well, there was only one block yesterday and no block today, so both blockers are probably dead, unless the town blocker decided not to block. Well, there's always the possibility that they didn't trust Kristina and were lying, but it seems pretty obvious to me that Colin is the vig or at least a very cooperative SK...who doesn't need to kill every night. Wait, who was blocked from speaking on Day 1? ...Never mind...
  9. Well maybe my trick didn't play off at the time I thought. But it's interesting that you both, two of the scummiest around, both speak up now. Were you rather annoyed that I put that vote on Dexter because it prevented you from withdrawing your vote and saving a scum buddy? And Candy, do you really think if I were scum I would change my vote at the last minute to pretend like I voted with the bandwagon. That would be stupid and I don't think any scum in their right mind would do that. Also, Priscilla you seem to know already that Dex will flip scum tonight. I really hope that is the case, but your certainty is a bit...fascinating. I would assume Patricia, Wait, Patricia died just yesterday...but we didn't have two blocks yesterday either, from what I can recall.
  10. Hmmm...just noticed that with me now, everyone has spoken up today. Could that mean that the Town blocker is dead and we killed the scum blocker yesterday?
  11. I shout at Dreyrugr and snatch up the letter, scanning its contents I glance up at Erik. "Check the trunk," I state simply,as I sit down on the bed to assimilate the letter. "There is something fishy about all of this... how could she have known that we would complete the task? "Druid, can you make heads or tails of this?"
  12. Good hacking, Colin. I would've gone for either him or Candy if I was in your position...or stayed home. I am pretty convinced that the Cap'n was scum. Let's hope we've caught two slimy slimesters tonight. Well, I was holding out to see if anyone would try to jump out of the vote on Dexter to save him from getting lynched, since he only has one vote that's keeping him in the lynch-light right now, but no one has jumped out. I suppose for this idea to have been effective, we would have to wait for just before the night ends, but unfortunately I'm feeling the need to nap now. I'm not entirely convinced that he's the best lynch for tonight, but I do find him probably the second or third most suspicious here, so to ensure that he doesn't slip out of the vote at the final moments of the day, I will vote: Dexter Fairbanks (def) Oops! Unvote: Priscilla Jenkins (mostlytechnic) Vote: Dexter Fairbanks (def)
  13. I snort at him, and walk up the stairs.
  14. More Guild of Invision rep without having to meet vampires...I believe. How long will the quest be, CMP? From the looks of it we should be wrapped up with this one soon enough to go on it.
  15. Well that makes matters a bit more complicated, but I doubt I'll have time to go on a quest, unless it's really short, before that time. ...So I guess not so complicated. Besides I have some catching up with Arasmyth to do...I think. Any ideas on how long the quest will be, Flare?
  16. "Let's go, then. Keep that head under wraps. Don't want to get into trouble for solving a crime. Never know what could happen these days." "It's disappointing that we couldn't find any information on who hired him though. Give me a moment..." I search the body for any letter or receipts, etc.
  17. Eh? I thought it was a pretty obvious joke. Maybe I should have used a " " instead of a " " but I didn't think anyone would take it as anything other than a joke.
  18. Awesome! Although I've still never been hosted by a QM twice, so maybe I should keep the tradition. (Besides, I'm not sure if I can commit myself for another six months) On a more serious note, though, I think Sandy said that he was planning on hosting a marketplace quest sometime in September, if I'm not wrong, and I really want to go on that quest. Besides, I've never been on a Sandy quest. Interesting to not, the only heroes I've quested with twice have been Mizuki, Erik, and Daxus. Essentially, the Voracious Vault team.
  19. I'm still a bit confused about how it all worked out with receiving actions from the hippy and the questions, etc. Did Colin, Dexter, Bernard, and Terrence all receive something/get to ask a question?
  20. "Well, I suggest one of you with a sword or axe or something, lob it off and we get going." I look through the crates and boxes on the ground for anything of value/use. "Erik, why not try to get back up onto the platform and check again if there's anything useful up there. Or do you think you did a good enough job last time?"
  21. I don't even know what to say. You're nuts! We know there's one scum in the group of five and we can assume there's four or five scum altogether (if there's less than that, we aren't in serious trouble yet). Obviously if there's one scum in that group the other three or four must be in the other group. What I said is just as valid as what Terrence said. If Terrence is speaking truth, which I am more inclined to believe now, then there are three of four scum in the group I mentioned, or else there are surprisingly few scum. I never said that I really believed Terrence, I said "if we want to believe him, then..." Right now, though, I do think I am more inclined to believe him, so obviously I won't lynch him. Trying to put words in my mouth, are you? Perhaps we should all give a new list of our top four suspects, as I'm leaning more to there being four scum than five right now. Mine would be Candy, Cap'n Rolfe, Dexter, and Priscilla. Personally, I am the least convinced about Dexter being scum, but I'm willing to vote for him if the rest of town thinks the case against him his solid enough. If, the hippy happened to also follow Bernard's list instead of seeing what happened, for some odd reason, then I would be more likely to believe that there could be five scum and then I would add Peter to the list. I need to run out now, and I'm sorry if I don't remember, but why is it so important that we lynch Dexter first? I didn't reject it. I'm accepting it and working with it. How can you not see that? Oh, right, because I've just nailed you and your scummies. Your twisting of words does nothing but show how darn scummy you are. Also, it seems convenient that you post your big "reveal" about me as soon as I went offline. Where have I been this whole time? Why not do some research. I almost always go offline around the same time. Is it a crime to take a nap at 1:00 when nothing is happening in the thread. Lousy scumster! Although I'd love to send my vote your way, it would be ridiculous to split it any further, especially since two of the candidates I'm suspecting are scum. For now I feel more comfortable voting Priscilla than Dexter, but there's plenty of time to change that. I should be back later today tonight, so if somebody could quickly explain to me why we need to lynch Dexter first, then I'll gladly change my vote when I get on later. For now, though, I'll vote: Priscilla (mostlytechnic) I have a good feeling that we'll catch scum tonight.
  22. "What makes you think that?" "You pretend to know exactly what we're thinking and you hold a ridiculously high estimate of yourself. I think if there had been no talking in the day thread and we all just would've attacked people randomly we could have had almost as good success as you've given us. Besides, most of the things you thought of were pretty obvious."
  23. Funny, I don't recall him ever "playing" before now.
