  1. Thank you, that's high praise! Thank you! I really do appreciate it! Thanks for letting me blow up the CFS Discord with WIP pics three times a day. I did take a look at Ninjago City to see how TLG did the whole "multi-layer town" thing, and of course they share the japanese DNA. Thank you! That means a lot. Thank you for the thoughtful post! Whether its compliments or criticism, that you would take so much to really form thoughts and write something out is an honor, thank you. That's helpful feedback, I'm glad you could spot where I started to run out of parts haha. (We're all on that struggle.) I'm cheered by you liking the white waterfalls! You're the first, and I'm not so sure about them myself, but I'll commit to them as an artistic choice, haha. I'm with you there. Thank you! Thank you very much!
  2. I love the way the rocks look, its such a different approach to rockwork from the typical 1x1 slope method, I'd kind of love to see an exploration of this kind of technique on a larger scale. It looks so solid and old, I totally get the dwarf vibe. And happily, it's something different from the typical Mustafar build, as has been said. Mustafar is a diverse planet! It's interesting! It's not just fire and dirt. Let it be known to all.
  3. I love the colors and the idea! It works well, but I'd love to see this as a bigger build too, with some houses built into the walls around the bridge or something. Bridges are just really cool.
  4. Your pictures always look so good. They really sell your builds. Feedback: I hope this doesn't come off too harsh, but the essential structure of the build is, naturally, three flat planes stacked on top of each other, with big part rails in between to make it all x32 high. There is a part of me that just sees those three flat planes stacked together when I see the build, and it feels like some height variation inside of the plates would've added some dynamics. Maybe if the back of the build was rockwork and cave wall rather than just the rails, that might be cool too. That said, structure aside, the three planes are executed with zero flaws. As you demonstrate every time, you've really nailed your tiling/freeform/surface building, and the rocks and props look smooth. I also really like that speeder, I think it's well adapted for the context. The rock, spider, and speeder are my favorite parts of this. I personally think you should shoot for some non-flat surfaces and leave the big rail parts out next time. Cheers, it's a great build overall.
  5. It's a testament to your skill that this thing doesn't feel messy to me, just appropriately mottled and greebled. Great work! I like.
  6. I think it's brilliant. What an amazing ship design, but I'm a sucker for tail-sections and front-heavy ships. The detailing is on point! Definitely has a prequel vibe.
  7. Such a clever way of doing the Lothal rocks. They're such a distinct design and so hard to pull of in brick form, so well done. I like this storyline! The Temple Guardians are fun worldbuilding.
  8. Added a first story and some new focus shots.
  9. You sure are! (No hard feelings, of course. It's all about the game!)
  10. Classic "it's technically your fault we blew up a city, mutilated the bodies of its inhabitants, and threw them into mass graves" blame-shifting lol. We'll get you back. Lovely stuff, Feng. The writing is sharp and lively per usual. #SkyeReclaimed. (I'm switching hashtags.)
  11. Excellent writing, Feng. I really enjoyed this. #SkyeAvenged
  12. If you ever need any more tan masonry bricks, I think you're sadly out of luck. Looks like you own the world's supply.
  13. Brilliant concept. The droid is beautiful, and those minifigures are choice. Your lighting on these newest posts looks fantastic, it just makes the photos a joy to look at.
  14. Extremely cool vibe, I love the lighting. Where did you get it?
  15. *Your entry has earned 17 XP* Mato's Tale: On a cool day in early autumn, when the trees by the graveyard (which had always been early bloomers) were bright with color, the Steward of Bur Wend summoned several villagers to talk with him. All of those called had some experience as warriors in the past, and Mato Rook was among them. Mato stepped out of his home, greeted Beor next door, and made his way to the town center. A few of the others were there waiting. He recognized a couple from the fields, and they greeted each other in the typical, familiar Bur Wend way. "See the sunrise?" asked Dogus, a Mon Calamari. Mato shrugged. "I was in the field with you this morning, Dogus. We both saw the sunrise." Dogus laughed, in a barking sort of way. "Fair 'nuff. I wasn't looking at you, I s'pose!" Then Ko-Yode stood to speak. Ko-Yode never had to fight for attention. The moment he spoke, it was heard. It was a calm, strong voice, which seemed even stronger because of the giant, bushy beard it came from. Ko-Yode was Mato's mentor, teacher, and greatest friend. "A man was found taking holographs of the village defenses," Ko-Yode said seriously. "When Old Morgan saw him and called out, he fled. Now, we're not looking to start a panic, but I need your all's help. Let's find this man. Bring him back to me, alive, if you don't mind. And don't go out there hateful or looking for revenge. We're doing this to protect our families. We're not afraid, but we'll act quickly, aye?" A chorus of 'ayes' returned to him, and he sent them off. 17. Love that first shot, great angle! Fun way to display some great minifigs.
  18. This is great Coruscant building! The little details go a long way. Not sure how Porgs got from Ahch-To to Coruscant right now, but it's fun, so I personally give it a pass.

  21. Really amazing work, legitimately one of my favorite Hoth builds! It captures the spirit of the battle so well. Your Rebel gun emplacement looks spot-on, the ropes and wires hanging from both guns adds so much. That explosion is perfect. The overall balance of the build is just really good, the mixture of elements and placement, the slight rise of terrain on the back right leading the eye to the explosion, which leads the eye to the cannon, and how its all offset by the heavier left side of the image where there are more instances of black. The composition is what really nails this one. I don't know whether or not this was intentional, but the lighting and dark background in the later pictures gives it this vibe almost of a diorama you'd see in a museum, which is, frankly, an incredible vibe. Well done!
  22. There's some great elements here: the tiling, the variety of colors for the urban environment, the action! My feedback would be: the lighting, but you already know that. I also might have left off that white strip around the buildings, just for the sake of simplicity and making everything read a little clearer. Especially when I'm working with lots of bright colors, I find that keeping my core/foundation colors simple is important to keeping it from feeling cluttered. Great work!
  23. I love everything being brought together! So climatic! The desert landscape (those rocks!) and the wall and trans-blue evoke Mandalore well, with of course the sinister red flags draped in front that demand to be torn down. Such a cool finale.
  24. I love the implication that Tini has wild misadventures we will never hear about. Way to build the mythos. All the elements work really well together here, I particularly like the floor and the crates. Maybe some flowers on the plants would add a pop of color and hide their structure a little? That's my only feedback.
  25. Great MOC, I think this is essentially perfect landscape building. If you're interested in a game, join us on the Factions sub-forum. We'd love to have you.
