  1. *Your entry has earned 11 XP* From the Mid-Rim world of ANKUS comes a request for aid! Enslaved by the mining corporation TAGGECO, the Cragmoloid natives are cruelly oppressed, made to work in the mines, and killed by the hundreds. Perhaps their only hope now rests with the FREEDOM FIGHTERS of the CFS, a fighting force dedicated to helping the oppressed. DATA MASTER BEY'WAN PW'TUA is sent to coordinates received from intelligence network NIMBUS CELL, but he does not know exactly what he'll find... Story and Pictures More Pictures Thanks for looking!
  2. I love the two-part build! That doctor is pretty freaky.
  3. Dog. Dog! Dog. Fantastic story-telling. Establishing how he feels about bones, and then burying him in bones? Extremely nice touch. I'm super impressed with the whole thing. Cammie is great too. I'm looking forward to seeing more from Olen, consider me invested.
  4. Love a little snapshot to further flesh out Fnab's story. That lava is great! I see how much work you put into that.
  5. Honored to contribute to another TexMex masterpiece. And such a great Malagarr MOC. These horrible colors both bother and entice my eyes!
  6. a gonk above me / shovel in it's metal hands / can't go out like this
  7. Alfer, you weirdo.
  8. This is really incredible. It's kind of a stirring moment with Fnab among the ashen memorials of a bygone age. I love how all your stories start as if continuing straight off the last one. "Then..."
  9. Woof, chilling. You're great at evoking existential dread, a disturbing kind of unease with no hope in sight. A+ story work. The build itself turned out great. The surface detailing is so clean, and the sixes on the front actually become sort of the star of the show. The interiors almost feel like an official set: they're clever and packed with detail even while being unavoidably compact.
  10. So clean, just great on every front. I know what you mean by these horror builds being disturbing to make! I'm sort of glad the contest is over, hahaha.
  11. Really great stuff, very appropriately strange and unsettling.
  12. Well, the New Republic is the governing body of much of the galaxy, and the CFS is a free association economic partnership/common philosophy shared between a network of colony worlds. They don't actually overlap (The CFS is not a governing body), so I see no reason they wouldn't cooperate with one another. Yeah, the SCP format was the big influence for sure! Thanks for the compliments! Thank you!

  14. Thank you guys, for the feedback and for reading the story. It's genuinely an honor.

  16. I just love this build. In spite of Malagarr's horrible (fun) eye crime (choice) of a color scheme, it's so pleasing to the eye.
  17. Oh yeah. It was very much a Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, Spaceman Spiff-inspired build. I wasn't that excited about the whole irradiated wasteland thing, so I tried to find a way to have a good time. Thanks for recognizing those influences.
  18. Dude, I was immediately struck by this. This build rules, as does the photography! Feedback: Maybe the cave could've been a tiny bit more enclosed on those edges, but that's minor. I love the sand blue ground, that's so interesting. And that little lbg greeble thing is neat. The way the light comes through the gemstones is a really neat effect.
  19. *Your entry has earned 6 XP* Previous chapters of the Perilous Adventure! Chapter 1: Meet our heroes! Chapter 2: Meet the devious Colonel Corbett! Chapter 3: Raiders of the Lost Jungle Planet! Captured by pirates! While searching for the natives of Imynusoph, our trio are beset upon by the cavalier Colonel Corbett's callous rogues! The murderous pirates and their flamboyant leader drag our heroes to their camp, where intrigue abounds! The Story (And Pictures) The Heroes More Pictures Thanks for looking! Next: Fight and Flight!
  20. Thanks guys! Yeah, I was sort of ready to be done with this one as soon as I started. The color scheme starts to give you a bit of a headache, haha. But hey, it's bold.
  21. *Your entry has earned 6 XP* The heroic Captain Phoenix (part-time swoop racer and part-time bounty hunter) stalks the treacherous radioactive wastelands of Malagarr! Working off intelligence from CFS vigilante network Nimbus Cell, Captain Phoenix has tracked down a scientist from the nefarious Techno Union. “Curse you, Phoenix!” screeches the scientist, technologically. “Don’t you know what we could learn from this place? Entire planets turned into reactors! Think of the power, you fool!” “This inhospitable trash heap has a lesson to share, you’re right about that,” replies the Captain, dashingly. “I’m just not sure it’s a lesson you’re willing to learn.” “Ha! These fools made mistakes! We would do it better!” The scientist began cackling. Evil, computerized cackling. Captain Phoenix clenched his jaw. “Your hubris blinds you, doctor!” He raised his ray blaster, set to ‘enjustify’. Time to end this mad scheme once and for all. Just then, movement on the ridge! A cloud of red dust fades to reveal a new danger, a wrench in the cogs: a vicious reaver gang with weapons primed! The Techno Union scientist starts to shuffle away in the chaos. “Blast, Reavers! Watch out, scum! No one can stand in the way of justice!” How will the incredible Captain Phoenix get out of this one? You’ll have to leave that one to your imagination, dear reader! More Pictures Thanks to the CFS Discord for the feedback and community. Thanks for looking!
  22. Thanks guys! I appreciate it. I'm really happy with how grungy the speeder turned out, and the jungle was a nice learning experience. First time I've made a freeform build that's actually sturdy, haha.
  23. The atmosphere here is incomparable. Great use of colors, staging, parts...it just all has the perfect raider/pirate king vibe. Very into it.
  24. Wooooah, this rules! Fantastic entry! The Sandhammer, the figs, and the scenery is all just spot-on. Also love the dig at stud shooters. Very fun and clever.
