[Ep7 - CAT - A] [O7-Krownest-CE] Tracks in the snow...

Thanks. For me, it was more that the colour of this helmet suited the figure which is why I went for it. Next time I use this figure I may look to add a visor to cover the eyes but I think the helmet works well in this instance -
*Your entry has earned 10 XP* Following the trail from the town I made my way out the tunnel and into the wilderness and fading light. Out here the tell tale tracks of Imperials, never side by side to hide their numbers, tell me where they are heading in the thick snow. I follow and after a short amount of time i'm led to the shore line of the lake and the compound on its bank. As I approach, I encounter a lone patrolman and make swift work of him. Turning my attention to the opposite shore, I retreated into the treeline and made for the compound - I counted 7 tracks in the snow covered ground, i'd make swift work of the Imp's. Just as soon as I've scoped the place out, I don't want any surprises...

*Your entry has earned 12 XP* After I'd made my way to the surface and knowing my line of investigation had come to an abrupt end, I headed to a small, uninviting Taverna on the outskirts of Sundari for a drink before working on my next line of inquiry. There was an odd feeling in the air, nerves over the rumours of Imperial forces amassing and yet a sense of relief as Clan Eldar had begun to make its return to Mandalore and make their presence in the sector known. Still, the break was welcome and I could loose myself within the humdrum and atmosphere of the Taverna. Lost in my own thoughts as I was - a name cuts through the noise and brought my attention back to the bar "...Pyerce..." Through the reflection of the polished chrome droid barkeep I survey the crowd to identify the disguised Imperials - A small group huddled over a corner table looked deep in discussion, seemingly unaware their conversation is carrying across the room I listen in and pick up odd words in the conversation mixed in with hyperbole of imperial resurgence; "Pyerce" "Empire" "Remnant" and finally as one of them made to stand up "...our contact on Mandalore" I listen on as they themselves prepare to leave, pay and exit ahead of them, waiting for them to leave, safe in the knowledge the shadows are hiding my presence from being seen before i pursue them in the alleys that lead from the bar

A really nice build, reminds me of Quorl from the Young Jedi Knights series. You've captured a really nice scene and the camp looks relatively cosy too! Quck Question - I thought if you were not building a habitat you still had to adhere to the dimensions of 14x12 base and 16 studs tall? -

*Your entry has earned 10 XP* Following reports the Pyerce Sympathisers had fled underground after Clan Eldar had uncovered wealthy Mandalorians were supporting Pyerce's return I gave pursuit deep into the caverns under Sundari. The cave system was vast, great chasms had been cut into the rock yet I found little sign of life. Later, I heard cries echo through the caves and I followed these until the silence won out once more, however, I found discarded weapons and scorched rock. Clear signs of aggression. Suddenly, great eyes peered out at me through the darkness, their very glare holding me in place... ...As a claw reached out from the darkness my courage returned and I engaged my jetpack stealing me from the cave. Safe again. This lead had dried up, it was time to engage in a new line of enquiry. But first I needed a drink, and Cantina's were always a good source of loose tongues...

I quite like this build, I think the challenge of this chapter is to build a vignette in which it’s easy to imagine the rest of the scene. I think you’ve done that here. You can take this snapshot and imagine the hustle and bustle of a crowded street just in front of this alleyway unaware of the dealings being made...

Really like the look of these plants, great use of the road sweeper parts! Whats that helmet piece from? I recognise it but struggling to place it...

*Your entry has earned 6 XP* From the report of Atlas: Torak, after helping him on Kir, has asked i chase a lead for him to Krownest as the Imperils he was chasing separate. Gladly, I follow the information to Krownest which in turn brings me to a bar. In one corner I notice the Imperials are here before me and seem to be ushered to a backroom. As I follow, unnoticed, i'm lead to a basement where two troops are removing their armour to blend in more seemlessly. However, they're using a small rail to flee to some hideout! As their apparent leader moves to the bottom of the stair well I make my attack! Knocking his drink to the floor I hit him with enough force to make sure he won't be getting up anytime whilst using my wristblaster towards the troops running for the tunnel Poodu! One troop got away from me! After checking the two imperial's are going to be causing no further issue, I examine the abandoned troop armour as my comlink begins to shrill "Torak, opportune timing, i've taken care of your imperials though one got away down a rail line - don't worry, i'll get them - i'm on the hunt now. Odd thing, they had some strange yellow fist marking..." "It's as I feared, these were also troops loyal to Pyerce" "But he's-" "Back, Yes. Follow the troop you lost, he may lead you to more Pyerce loyalists - Stop them, at all costs" With that, the call ends and I follow the tracks into the tunnel...

*Your entry has earned 10 XP* Mandalore. A planet I only remember from stories told and one I never truly believed to see again, as I erupt from Hyperspace the planet fills my screen. I falter as I study the planet before my comms readout steals me from my reverie - The Imperial agent I have tracked from Ziost has finally been spotted and it has brought me to Mandalore, it's brought me home... - Pursuit brings me to a wealthy district of Sundari and I see my quarry enter an apartment. Unseen I make my way to the dwelling and listen to the conversation within... I can make little of the conversation from outside other than the threat for money, All of a sudden I hear a wail and a cry of 'Please, no!' and I make my entry A flash bang announces my presence to the scene and as the agent reaches for his pistol I throw him against the wall. A wealthy apartment, Clan markings on one wall with the other adorned with imported Wroshyr drift wood - all trappings of wealth. "I've been following you for some time, did you not learn from Zi-' drawn to something the woman was clutching I take it from her hand as she cowers against the wall - Shoulder armour with a distinctive marking: "Where did you get this? Where!" The Imperial laughs in my face "Pyerce sends his regards" On this, fellow Mandalorians enter and question the disturbance "Take him away for questioning, he's an Imperial agent...Loyal to Pyerce" Pyerce resilient! I thought we'd seen the last of this Imperial remnant leader. Clan Eldar would not let him escape again, we'd track both him and his troops across the galaxy to make sure this time. As the woman is lead away, following her son to questioning, I apologise for her sons loyalties and actions and draw my communicator out - The Clan needed to know of this sinister turn of events...

Thanks @Ross Fisher I think i've found something I enjoy throwing in to builds. I like more than a plain background and it aids context to stories often. All in all, i think this has been one of my favourite builds that i've done -
A nice introductory piece - welcome aboard! Nice sigfig too

Thanks, i'm enjoying micro scale at the moment, having to be creative to get the right idea across. Really works for scenes like this to add depth from a limited size build. Thanks - I'm pleased CE have managed to get to an Ice Planet as it's something i'd thought about building for a while. The LTC came at the right time! -

Nice story, I like the use of your characters Kiffar heritage to take him back through time and the base serves as a nice anchor to the present - unchanged despite the violence thats erupted around it over time.
