[Factions Ep. 7 - Cat. B][K10 - Coruscant - BS] Pirates like to...

I'm a big Cyberpunk fan (and my LUG are doing a cyberpunk collab) and theres so many nice touches within this build - The shutters on the left, the use of trans pieces and the general action within this are all tick boxes for me -

Thanks for the comments on perspective @Macropus @Darth Bjorn@halixon, @Denal31 I wanted to show a sweeping landscape and so within the confines of CAT A I had to play around with perspective here (and in some of my other builds too) Thanks! The tree was the first thing I built in this scene and the rest stemmed from there (adding the snow to the tree top was a head scratch but Zanes mask really worked here to cover the underside of the plant) Lloyds Dragon hunters/Sons of Garmaddon costume screamed Mandalorian to me so glad its come across well. -

Really great wrap up to your Ep 7 entries, The build and figures are great here too. That speeder works incredibly well and like how you've brought all your characters together here. (The link to our Mandalorian Scout didn't go unnoticed too!) #Mandalorereclaimed -
*Your entry has earned 8 XP* Whilst Clan Eldar was pursuing threats of Pyerce across Mandalorian space, Torak had quietly despatched Shiva to follow up a lead on Ordo after some noise had been made across a small settlement on the edge of an Oasis. On Shiva's approach, she came across a submerged TIE. An imperial had arrived on planet after all, after investigating the submerged TIE it looked as though it had been abandoned rather than shot down. Perhaps there was truth in the rumour after all, someone must have told the Empire about the old Mandalorian Arsenal on Ordo. Shiva would soon put a stop to this...

Brilliant work, the bar looks suitably back water with some nice details within it! Really nicely put together stop motion here -

As above really, the lavender for the landscape is well executed. The ruined walls are nicely detailed too, with the canopies and decor adding nice accents here -

A really nice vignette here, the olive pieces are really effective here and sell the architecture of the build fantastically along with the plant work too Its already been said but the winding stairs work so well. I’m looking forward to where Black Sun go next... -
Some nice detailing in the building and do I spot a minifig canister from the games? And 3po in the mix is a nice nod too Is there detailing inside the door too?

A nice little vignette to introduce a new ally, a nice Togruta figure too I’m sure she’s quite the widow maker on the battle field ;) -
Based upon the Holiday Knights ep of B:TAS, my little build - happy new years! Four very simple Rogues Gallery references too! Outside, the Bat Signal rises above the city As the Commissioner looks away, Batman fades into the shadows and to where in Gotham he's needed - leaving the change for the coffee behind * * * Posting here as originally posted in the DC discussion thread...

*Your entry has earned 26 XP* After we'd uncovered Pyerce's plans, Clan Eldar rushed to the proposed meeting point in Sundari - an old Government palace that had been long commandeered by the Imperial occupation. A once grand building devoted to the Rising Phoenix, it's high platforms looked out above the once great city and would glisten in the sunlight. Little remained of the grandeur of this building, little remained of the grandeur of Mandalore. Atop the building, Pyerce's supporters had gathered the raided Mandalorian artefacts and other valuables to add to the Imperials War Chest. It seems our hunt for Pyerce would be swift today! We flew across the city at speed, ahead of us we could see the Imperials preparing crates ready to be shipped off planet. Without any sign of a transport ship it looked like we had arrived before even more history was lost to the remnants of Empire. I gave the order to attack. In unison the Mandalorians around me took to the air and descended on the platform standing high above the streets below, catching Pyerce's forces completely unaware. The Pyerce loyalists fought hard as they tried to flee from us but were quickly overrun Pyerce and his fiercely loyal supporters had escaped before. We hunted them down this night. We left none alive. After Pyerce's forces had been dealt with, we remained on the tower and looked over the city around us. Clan Eldar would ensure Mandalore remained uncoupled from outside control, the citizens had suffered long enough and we'd seen first hand the devastation the Empire had wrought...

[Factions Ep. 7 - Cat B][O10 - Ambria - TT] Searching Ambria

I really like this, the steam from the thermal pools. The balloon pieces as canopy work incredibly well. The juxtaposition between the calm existence of the Togruta in the first image to the last and the scar on the landscape the Empire leaves with is machinations works so well -
Thanks @RocketBoy for the kind words on this build, it means a lot to me. I really wanted this last build to be poignant (the microfigures being spied on was the first little bit I built for the episode before parking to create the rest of my wider story) as I’d envisaged dropping this Christmas Eve so really pleased the story comes across. Throughout my builds for the category I’ve played with scale and I’m glad the depressed, claustrophobic aesthetics come across!

*Your entry has earned 10 XP* As the Pyerce Agents and sympathisers left the bar I followed at a distance, with a shawl wrapped around me I looked no different to the other homeless who sheltered in the narrow alleyways. The looming shadows of the concrete forest towering above, hiding both them and criminal activity from those who chose to look the other way... Ahead of me, two of the Pyerce loyalists stopped - deep in discussion. Within ear shot I tucked myself into the doorway of some homestead and listened on. Bar Imperial ego stroking, they disclosed their game-plan to me:- Tomorrow, several Pyerce agents would be meeting an incoming ship to load cargo and valuables, all loot from Mandalore's tragic recent history to fund Pyerce's return. The meeting point was a building not too far from here, I knew the building well - a story for another time. I didn't have long, as the agents retreated into the darkness ahead I resolved to muster my comrades and put an end to this occupation on Mandalore for good. We didn't need another unhappy Imperial story. I stopped. At the base of the Stairwell I had hid in, a mother was trying to keep her child warm. Caught in the web of pursuit I had paid little attention and I kicked myself for this and made my approach, cowering before me, expecting to be robbed, I revealed my armour to them and I made conversation. I couldn't offer them riches but I could offer something better - hope, I gave them food and my cloak and asked they come with me. I could offer shelter and company to which they greatly accepted. On Mandalore, it's holiday season for Life day but beyond that, it was the right thing to do. When Clan Eldar restores Mandalore to freedom we'll rely on the public as much as they will rely on us... Merry Christmas!

Great build, some nice little details like the lights really add to this scene. The droid reminds me of the Stalkers from the Mortal Engines books- 12 replies
