  1. Same chipset doesn't mean it will work. Check the message Chongas posted
  2. I love almost any chopper, so I would say yes! Reminds that I still need to pick one up myself.
  3. Wow!!! Looking forward to seeing this at Legoworld
  4. Maybe you are mistaken with the Member's Website pinned topic?! This is unpinned and linked in the Index. Member's Websites
  5. I really hope that other firmware or other programming environments will support the NetGear (or other) mini dongles. Do you have any insights in why TLG didn't choose the NetGear mini dongle?
  6. I haven't got a microSD at my disposal right now. And my brick is pretty built-in a WIP robot right now. When I get the chance I will do so. Maybe one of the other members can reply to this matter.
  7. Not sure about the microSD card, but I had a little trouble inserting the USB WiFi dongle as well. I had to use a slight angle inserting the dongle.
  8. Must be frustating sometimes. And you don't take everything home during Holidays?
  9. No worries. I was wondering the same thing when I first started the brick. You'll get used to it.
  10. Unfortunately this is normal behavior Nice! Suddenly I feel like opening a school myself
  11. Conclusion....do it! Seems like a fair price
  12. The 42000 looks awesome....but applying the sticker is mandatory!
  13. I have been struggling with searching EB in the past as well. Till someone pointed out the google tip. Works like a charm! By the way; they do have Internet in Italy
  14. Exactly what this topic is made for. Great work DrJB, thanks Chitter chatter about Technic.
  15. A tip for searching is using google with the "site" tag www.eurobricks.com, so you enter: "site:www.eurobricks.com search criteria" This works a lot better than the search functionality of EB itself. I want to avoid a huge number of small topics, like: Speaking of SuperCars ... anyone tried the Chrysler Prowler? Such a question could easily be posted in a general topic.
  16. What is your intention? Putting it on display? Using it for parts? Need the looks? Want the functions? It all boils down to some of these questions. I really hate the looks of some sets, but after building them I got to appreciate most of them.
  17. Technic General Discussion Welcome to the Technic General Discussion topic. Here you can post small questions or comments about Lego Technic which don't need a topic of their own. This way we will keep the number of topics limited. Examples Has anyone built vehicle x? Where can I find this or that? I missed this set on eBay...darn!
  18. For guidance I would recommend waiting a bit and buying this (e)book: http://nostarch.com/ev3lab This will get you started and it has some cool robots to build, even bipeds! If I could, I would help you out with the building instructions, but I don't think Lego would appreciate it if I distributed the included pictures. Maybe these will be made available at some point. My advice; wait for the book, it's much cheaper and play around with the examples and robots in it. When you are done, the building instructions (or LDD files) for the educationel sets might be available.
  19. Keeping everybody happy and having a good time! Does this sound too politically correct?!
  20. I hit the store for this set, not knowing it wasn't (widely) available at toy stores. So I settled for the 8421 Crane Truck. I was pretty impressed with the parts and the part count.
