  2. Wow, that's some pretty impressive collections popping up in this topic
  3. I know as much as the others do, but my best guess was the same as Jantjeuh's, that the plane represents the "1H semi-flagship a.k.a. March set".
  4. Really anxious to see what he comes up with If he delivers, that is...
  5. I hear you and I do understand Blakbirds post, but I would like some actual proof that this is fake, instead of a conclusion based on theoretical facts and assumptions. Like Lipko said; could be that one of the two flights was stable for a few seconds. Statistically he could have tried lots of times and these where the best results. I know it's probably bogus, but I like to think it could be real. I just want to believe Too bad we don't get to see the blades. That would probably end this discussion once and for all.
  6. That it made a 90 degree rotation is not so strange. Could be two separate "flights". Seeing the digital alterations would definitely be a proof of an hoax. Can you show the digital picture alteration?
  7. Exactly my thoughts. That would be the 1.5 set, which came early this time.
  8. It's clear!!! Let's finish the public debate about this. I'll take it from here
  9. It's not useless at all. Prices have been proven wrong in the past, so that can be the case again.
  10. I will put a reminder in my Calendar to make a half year assessment. And I have changed the title to "2014 Building Itinerary"
  11. I can surely try I have posted some plans myself, so I guess I also need to start working :D
  12. Hi Zelda, Welcome to EB! Be careful with bumping old topics. Please read the Site Guidelinesa and Eurobricks FAQ. Thanks
  13. Here's Blakbird's review. Maybe it's useful Ahh okay
  14. I will lock this topic. Discussion can be continued here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=90007
  15. So you are building pipe-laying ships?! Looking forward to your next creations!
  16. I have a Mindstorms EV3 Wall-e like robot in progress. Definitely want to finish that one. Furthermore working on two MODs, a double rotor (Chinookified) 9396 and the white 8070 supercar with full remote. And I am planning on doing lots of reviews for the Reviewer's Academy.
  17. I understand and appreciate your opinion and I know there are basically two opinions about instructions getting less difficult (maybe three, like, don't like and don't care). I for one, like the overall building experience, whether the instructions are easy or not. Others think easy instructions take the fun out of building. I reckon it's an agree to disagree situation
  18. I don't think having interactive instructions does damage to the imagination. The building instructions are.....building instructions. So being able to rotate etc, just increases the quality and clarity. Being able to rotate resembles rotating the actual model. I don't have a problem with that. Just my two cents.
  19. True that! I will put the idea on the short list Nice build Sariel! Programming cards are very cool.
  20. Superkalle, Nice topic I really do like the idea of having instructions like these. Being able to rotate, pinch and zoom during the build pleases me a lot. However, I do agree to some extend with Pbat that an HTML5 version would be better, since I am almost always using a desktop computer and PDF while building. It's good to see that TLG is making progress in the interactive instructions section!
  21. Recently there was a bit of a problem with the rechargeable battery for the EV3. That's probably why stores don't have them in stock yet.
  22. I could try to use the speed remote, but I'd still want the model to behave properly when using the normal PF remote. I was wondering the same thing. Could you elaborate a bit on the "one direction clutch" implementation?
  23. Unfortunately they are not compatible. Here's a complete article about compatibility. Scroll down for the batteries. http://robotsquare.com/2013/07/16/ev3-nxt-compatibility/
  24. Nice build Nico I really like these kind of machines and yours is no exception. The switching mechanism for alternating the output direction is very clever.
