LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
Lion King replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
100% i feel Series 27 is retry strong to me beucase of those points you made above. They are Definitley interesting. I just have no idea why AFOLs think how boring CMF characters are. I are I ate those detailed printings, animals, accessories and minifigure parts. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
They do look great, although Daily Bugle is suffering its own flaws. Daily Bugle has mismatching exterior and interior. From outside, it looks like it has 10 - 15 floors (?) but on the inside, it only has 4 floors. Personally, I’m okay with modular skyscraper with four floors to match the exterior. -

I still don’tthink Series 27 is weak or uninterested to me. I find it more cool - we have two new animals, Castle and Pirate minifigures, new parts, minifigure parts that are very useful. It’s like you complained about Dog Sitter from Series 19 - how boring she was. Yet she had a new hat+hair piece, new dog mold, recolored shovel, two sh*ts, highly detailed printings across her torso and legs, and another dog mold. I truly think Series 27 is strong and fun, especially how diverse it is. Just IMHO. -
It’s shame that there is no recolor for sheep, lamb and/or puppy. But that’s okay!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Hmmm a travel-styled B&B? Just like English/irishcountryside inn, eh? I’m not sure what it looks like exactly for a city. you are not alone! I do wish they would produce a 1.5 (or 2) - baseplate hopsital / shopping center. Given that we hae Natural History Museum sits on shelves, I wonder if we will see another large set in 2027 (that will be 20th annivesary). I keep going for a skyscraper. Most of us continues going for post office. -

Well, i asked you a “how” quesiton. :P Now I like that idea of battle packs! Ii just didn’t know how it would work when there are no Castle or Pirates themes around. Polybags would do okay but battlepakcs are better. I do understand that City has some battlepacks htat offer us handful of animals. -

@williejm, that’s fantatic that we’re going to get long-haired cat in non-Freinds CMF series! Although I do agree with @Agent Kallus that there should be another cat instea of a yarn ball. If Cat Lover is indeed a trains then great! But I don’t know aout other blue/white/pink sweaters in other sets, tho? How can that work exactly? Replacing CMF with battle packs?? -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
Lion King replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
To me, this series is excellent and more fascainting. Regular CMF series intend to be DIVERSE for themes (pirates, castle, city, fantasty/mytholical, space, etc etc). I just don’t understand why you think this series is “weak”? I mean sure you are into pirates, animals, and castle but why? I also like themed sereis like Series 14, 18, 22 and 26. -

LEGO City 2025 SETS - Leaks, rumours, discussion. (Animals too)
Lion King replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
100% with you! I can understand that fleshie tones represent kids of colors if it’s just licensed themes. But i often prefer yellow tone myself. -
I will say that Police Station is one of my favorite modular buildings because it’s my first modular building set. As a kid I had been wanting to get modular buidling after seeing Palace Cinerma. Police Station got me into modular buildings. I have another favorite building sets: Boutqiue Hotel, Parisian Restaurant, Natural History Museum. I haven’t built Assembly Square and Corner Garage sets yet so I will update my favorite rank later. I don’t need to case my actual votes here. And I still refuse to choose one among those sets here. :)

LEGO City 2025 SETS - Leaks, rumours, discussion. (Animals too)

Well, you have fair points but i think it’s nice to have Johnny Thunder narration about wild animals after his “retirement” as adventurer. But I do wish that City subtheme would set in the past just like City Space was set in distant future (desginers did intend to interpreter those sets rather than in present-day City scene). I still appreicate that there is crocodile temple and nice adventurers parts like map. -

How can you improve this Adventurers subtheme then? It makes sense to me that johnny Thunder is added to exploration / adventure subtheme. Johnny thunder set off exploring on his adventure. -

LEGO City 2025 SETS - Leaks, rumours, discussion. (Animals too)
Lion King replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Haha, not City animals in space!! I’m a huge fan of in-house themes like City, Monkie Kid, Ninjago, Dreamzzz. I also love Rock Raider, Mars Mission, Power Miners, Adventurers, Castle, Pirates, etc. I’m not too crazy about licensed themes, tho I collect dinosaur and fantasy creatures from Harry Potter, Jurassic World. -

Eh not exaclty. Designers intend to interrupt this City Space subtheme as set in distant future. However, its animation company’s decision to put Space sets base in present-day town. I read that article somehwere. City theme itself is well known for wackiness. Who have seen crooks stealing ice cream truck? anyways, I appreciate that they include space and adventurers sets in City. -
