I placed it on Ebay, but maybe I should have tried to trade or sell it over here. So, if anybody is interested, lmk. I'm mostly looking for Star Wars sets, and paypal money, to buy on Bricklink :)

Found my first ever Lego set, the Motor Cycle Shop from 1984, mint in box, really in exelent condition for only € 20. I'm just so happy with this, brings back lots of memories...

Somehow these new minifigures don't look that cool as I hopped they would be. The 3D renders were cool, but now that they are really made in plastic they are not that cool anymore. Can't really say why. It's also a weerd choise to paint the whole Uruk Hays face purple but keep the head tan. The new horses are cool however. I don't like Lego changing things, but they didn't overdo it

I'm not blaming Lego, I'm blaming George Lucas, the more he ads to the whole saga, the more he seems to destroy it. Reading back in this topic, yeah right, every hour this topic grows two pages...

Those Sith Troopers look awfull. I didn't even know Sith Troopers existed, were do they come from? Another farfetched story to make money?

They all look great, a lot nicer than I expected, not so dark at all. Exept for Gandalf, he's missing character and the beard looks cheap.

Thanks for the effort. Seens that if the prices are correct the sets are reasonably priced. @ General Magma Your was of searching is a little strange If you would google every Star Wars film by name and ad these up, I think the number would be even higher than the numbers ou give. But eventually, only time will tell. Let's do a bet, and see by the end of 2013 how the sales are going in Europe. BTW, I see you're from the Low Lands, ever been to FACTS in Belgium?

Really think so. did a google search, Star Wars 460.000.000 pages, LOTR 131.000.000 pages. Not that the number isn't impressive, but when going to conevntions, 75 % of what I see is Star Wars. I just don't see it working well in Europe.

I would like to see the comparisson: Castle/bricks/price VS LOTR/bricks/price I think that will be the mayor reasons fans won't like these sets. When buing Licensed sets, you don't get that mush for your money in Europe. Only Star Wars has a big enough fan base to survive. But so far, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Price of Persai and Pirates o/t Caraiban have all been on sale because they don't sell good enough. You don't get enough for your money. I'm 99 % sure that the same hing will happen for LOTR.

Still looks very dark. I think I will just collect the main characters and make lots of Hobbits to make a nice shinny Hobbiton.

This looks like e good attempt to rival with Polly Pocket. I'm not really intereted, only scared, that this could be a first step to change minifigures.

Just wondering. The new line will come out along with the new videogame, right? This probably means that, again, this new game will feature several unreleased characters and sets, which will eventually come out, but look a whole lot different. I really love those Lego games, but this is the only thing that reallly bothered me, especially with Indian Jones.

Probably not, but I doubt these sets will be based on the books. The same reason I won't jump on to these sets. Good for my wallet. I'm a little sad that they desiced to make these. LOTR was always something of my imagination, until they made a movie about it, you can't unse what you saw. The movies are good, but not great. It's a cliché, but the books are so mush better. Now they also ruined my Lego fantasy about it. I always imagined Lego lOTR to be like Lego Caste, more colourfull, happy etc... These sets are to dark to be for kids, shame.

I think it's fake because some parts are more blury than others, that is not normal. To bad, it woild be a cool a false rumour, nice try however.

This looks really good and impressive. Unfortunatly I don't have the time to take a long term comitement like this and join this adventure(just bought a baby girl ). But I which you all the luck and hope your RPG works out well.

I think so, since the mistery packs with Marvel characters in it say more to come. But 2012 is still some time away, and it could be that they want to sqeeze evertyhing out of the license until it ends. Isn't there any news about what Mega Bloks will do next year? Do they apear in any of the upcoming movies? I have the impression the minifigures are mostly based on these movies, not on the comics.

Just my opion... When I would see that figure outside of it'l Lego context, I wouldn't recognize it as lego (for now). The others you mention aren't that Legoish either, but stil, they had that Legoish look like the horses for example. There are simply no minifigure parts in it.I think the solution Minimates made for the Hulk was mush better for example.
