Good to know, the forum is so big (and I don't have that mush time) that there are places over here I've never even browsed to before. For the record, I'm also a Spiderman colector, and Mega Bloks happen to have some cool colectible Spidy figures. The brick that comes with it I trow away.

I know what Mega Bloks stands for, for most fanatic Lego collectors. Non the less, I'm also one of these fanatic Lego collectors myself. But I must admit, I do like some Mega Blok things. Will I be banned now, are there others like ma, can we talk about this in public without being pointed at?...

Interesting read. I was considering the same thing more or less and wanted to start a topic, until I sa this one. I have kid now and collecting was getting stresfull in a way. Luckely I've never collected like grazy, I have a huge collection, but I was always able to spread the costs. I never felt that I've spend money which could have been spend better at that time. Friends, beer and then Lego, that was the order. But now I desided to just not spend that mush on Lego anymore, sell some stuff and only buy things I really want and don't cost to mush. I want to avoid getting at that certain point when it's geting to mush. Anyway, it's great that somebody is this open about his collection / addiction, a great and interesting read. I admire what you did.

He started it! ;) To say it in a more polite way. English is not my native language and I thought it was clear I was just saying my opion, guess not. To move on... I think it's to soon to have a new C3PO already, it's been only 4 years. I think however it would be cool to have his friend R2 D2 with a chrome dome, that way they would make a nice couple. They are more iconic as a duo. C3PO is not the only figure celebrating his 35th birthday... I suspect a lot of people want a chrome C3PO because they missed out on the first one, which I fully understand, he was not cheap. But I don't think Lego will already make new one when there are other shiny characters they can still make.

? I'm so sorry I offended you and your arguments. Really, what was I thinking, giving my own opinion and not making it clear enough. Those are some excellent points you make, they wouldn't make sense at all to other minifigures, especially not R2 D2. Also, I didn't now that after 4 years a minifigure is outdated already, my mistake, won't happen again.

Why would that make sence? We already have one. R2 D2 would make sence, that way we have both characters of them. They were the first characters wthe audiance saw.

shouldn't the charcter make sence when it's chromed? A chrome Ewok, that's hard to believe. A Chome Imperial guard r Clone seems more realistic.

wasn't this mentioned before? And also, were is the Lego logo? Looks more like a box for Hasbro.
