Lasr few days I was updating technical aspects of this creation... 1. Suspensions I had lift a suspension a little because in real life it was just laying on wheel arches Front suspension Rear suspension (Inspired by rear suspension from T Lego's LaFerrari 1:11) Now it has more travel, this makes suspension work better. 2. Frame/Chassis It reminds me of 42154 Ford GT frame... Im happy I was able to put engine cover open mechanism inside these 3x19 farmes. It is duplicateted to both sides, I had to go around the engine, so both worm gears may be synchronized.

But now about technical problems. Now I can take off the engine cover in "new lego style functions" by just removeing it. And I have to say I like how it looks without engine cover. But the competition is about making the a copy of the set, so I want to leave at least this function. the problem is how high is engine placed and how much space I have for lever that should move the cover. The only idea I got is moving that lever to the side (it's in the middle in set) and maybe even duplicate it for both sides

Probably this set is not that loved, but I like it as it is my first bigger technic set. I also noticed that I will create first topic of building a car for this competition:) Let's see guys how would you like a color change for this competition! As this car is bright green it's not really possible to make it green. Thats why my choice is red. Now about model I started, it already has full independent suspension, V8 and first signs of the steering system. Now I just want to ask @Jim if adding new functions is good for this competition (for example working steering wheel) It also might be 0.72 size of original set

Today I have a couple of little trucks. It is near 1:21 scale. 1. Iveco Eurocargo Cherry Picker Rebrickable: https://reb.li/m/147960 Inspired by 8071 set and has some more functions: - rear wheel drive with inline 4 engine - steering system with double HoG - outriggers - boom lifting/turning - all HoGs are removeable 2. Mercedes-Benz Atego Rebrickable: https://reb.li/m/140304 - rear wheel drive with inline 4 engine - steering system - 3 way tipping platform - all HoGs are removeable And some photo of them

This is my first experience of building in such a big scale and I wanna say I am pretty happy with it! I tried to recreate the McLaren Senna and of those sennas done by other creators helped me a lot. Biggest inspiration sourse is @langko and his yellow senna. Well, now about my model, it uses 3140 parts from original set, and few structural aspects. Functions: - as usual suspension and steering - butterfly doors - 8 speed sequental gearbox - thanks to @nico71 for his gearbox from F150 and thanks to @Didumos69 for his cool shifter. . PHOTOS: (https://bricksafe.com/pages/grs_bricks/mclaren-senna-42143) In reason it is an alternative build it has instructions https://reb.li/m/144754 Done in Stud.io, I probably used everything this app can do... Some previews: Love those size differences

I've recently (not really) finished few trucks... First one is new updated version of my attempt to build a MAN TGX (old/new) And the second one is my DAF XF but with little cab improvements and new chassis with crane Both are available on my Rebrickable:) https://rebrickable.com/users/grs_bricks/mocs/

There's another way to do it with parts that are already available:) -

I mean it's cool to have narrower whole wheel (tire is 56mm)... I'm used to naming wheels by their outside diameter, including tires.
