  1. Inferno's Volcano Base, because it combines so many awesome spy cliches; the giant laser, lava pit, view screen, multiple countdown timers, not to mention the set itself is inspired by Ernst Stavro Blofeld's volcano base! A close second is Gold Hunt, which will likely be overtaken by Robo Attack once I get it. To the Brickmobile!
  2. Loving the camel and ostrich. As I've stated before, this line is simply heaven for me, since I'm going to be creating Ra's Al Ghul's desert army and fortress. The camel is important because it is how they travel. As for the Ostrich? Going straight to the Penguin! To the Brickmobile!
  3. I think they can coexist pretty easily. They are both quite different concepts, but the great part is though they are very different - and therefore don't steal the spotlight from each other - they also compliment each other really well! Of course, Prince of Persia is the perfect line for Batman fans like me that plan on making Ra's Al Ghul and his assassins and his base. Here's hoping that camel comes in more than one set. Back to the main point though, I'm pretty sure Indy will last a lot longer than Prince of Persia, which will be a great line but made to line up with the movie only. To the Brickmobile!
  4. Fantastic pictures, thanks for the link! I'm really excited about some of the torsos from Toy Story, especially Zurg's! Also, he's purple, and though I know it's not cancelled, it's great to see TLC isn't shying away from using it. To the Brickmobile!
  5. I'm hoping it continues but honestly also expect it to die either next year or the year after. It had some great sets and figs, but it seems to have reached a point where the sets are no longer that good, just the figs and nice pieces. I would hope for one more wave with elves, but ultimately find my opinion falling in line with blueandwhite's; these themes seem to die off after a few years. To the Brickmobile!
  6. Okay, I've warmed over to the Toy Story figs a bit more. I would've preferred actual minifig heads but really it's the longer legs and arms that faze me, I just don't like them that much. That said, the army men are spectacular, I'll definitely be getting those, a few times over if in a cheap set. The Prince of Persia figs are still fantastic though, loving all the new headpieces. The fact that we get a whole heap of cool fleshie faces just makes it better. To the Brickmobile!
  7. Not loving the Toy Story figs much, but the PoP ones looks incredible! Those new head wraps, fleshie faces, camels, emus, it's all magnificent! To the Brickmobile!
  8. Can't wait to see those figures unveiled. I'm hoping Buzz and Woody both have normal fig heads. Prince of Persia doesn't hold my interest as a franchise, but as LEgo may make for some great figs and sets, so I'll look forward to that as well! To the Brickmobile!
  9. Agreed, I find children's cartoons to often be far more mature than "adult" cartoons, with the exception of a few. Family Guy is one example I personally loathe, because it is simply pop culture referencing and has little to no plot. Agreed on Keanu Reeves to, no way should he be Spike Spiegel. Also, love Simpsons seasons 1-8 as well as the good episodes that followed, along with Futurama. KImpossible I really, really like, since it does such a hilariously good job of lampooning spy movie conventions. To the Brickmobile!
  10. I made a fews basic mistake with my watch plan; no one joined me, I got left behind, the game moved on without me, and I couldn't carry a monologue To the Brickmobile!
  11. That's it! It may have been a smart idea to stand watch, but not if everyone gets ta find out the truth without me! *Runs to climb up ladder and join group*
  12. The Princess Bride. There has never been a funnier, more enjoyable rom-com that guys can love as well like this one. It even has one of the best rapier sword fights of all time on film. To the Brickmobile!
  13. First things first; I always really enjoy your Media topics Peppermint_M, so thanks. Also, you get extra points for linking to TV Tropes, I love that site. I too love Batman: The Brave and the Bold, it is a hilarious yet exhilarating series that alternates between downright funny, awesome, serious and other emotions. Plus the references are great. The most recent episode When OMAC Attacks was really enjoyable. By extent I really love Batman: The Animated Series for being such a great show, again with a wide range like TBATB, but while that is the lighter version this is the equally important darker version. Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League, JUstice League Unlimited and Batman Beyond are all great too in my eyes, JLU being the best of the DCAU for me. I really enjoy British telly, even as an Australian I find no funnier humour. Spaced and its sister show Black Books are outrageously good, while Red Dwarf is the best Sci-Fi comedy I've seen. Alternatively, I really enjoyed Doctor Who as a child for many years and have recently gotten back into it. Dilbert is pretty great too, and I'm sure more shows will come to me. On the anime side Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo are brilliant, and I'm also really enjoying Death Note right now. To the Brickmobile!
  14. Absolutely spectacular AlienCat. I had no idea oyu were this talented, this blew me away when I saw it. Amazing detail, I love all the studless parts, as well as the way you've managed to do the shape of the building as it sits on the baseplate. THe church itself is easily the most magnificent part about it, you have every right to feel proud. To the Brickmobile!
  15. Silly man, you're ignoring the obvious. Have a look around at this wacky, crazy Earth we have for a second. Think about the old Douglas Adam principle, because someone probably already HAS gone back in time and made this! Who killed the dinosaurs? Time Travellers To the Brickmobile! (Before Sinner fries me with his Science Vision!)
  16. Ronald, yay! I remember hating him when he first appeared because he annoyed me, but he's one of my favourite characters now. I love his excuses here, I suffer the same problem, though for me it's quitting my current job and getting a better one. One question though, how old is Ronald about? To the Brickmobile!
  17. Awesome diorama. I really love post-apoc, and this is one of the best I've seen. Love all the little details like the stereo and cards in their fort, and excellent use of the troll king head. 5 hours? Wow, kudos, I can never make anything like that in five hours! To the Brickmobile!
  18. For a second there.... thought I were popular... What's all the commotion there anyway? I'm tempted to go see what they're doin', anyone wanna take over doin' watch? No? Aww...
  19. Not looking forward to this at all, especially after the disjointed, plot-hole filled mess that was Crystal Skull. Plus the "handing over the torch" to Mutt is another thing I dread. To the Batbrickmobile!
  20. I'd rather them explain how a Get Smart license would be better. Sorry, I just don't understand how. To the Brickmobile!
  21. I love Red Dwarf! Kryten lookss fantastic, in fact, they all do! "Actually Frankenstein is the creator, not the monster, a common misconception held by all truly stupid people" - Kryten To the Batbrickmobile!
  22. Well I don't quite see what all the fuss is about, so I'll help organise somethin' else; night shifts. That's right fellas, I say we get two or three people to take turns guardin' outside makin' sure nothin' mysterious happens. I would be willin' to take part, anyone else for the idea? I reckon it would be good for just in case.
  23. Ha, a fitting end to the story. Will the rock monster become an ongoing character? Anyway, just glad you're back! To the Batbrickmobile!
  24. I'm interested honestly. I have made a load of post-apoc mocs in my time (though they were of a very different style) so I would love to help. I honestly can't make any promises, and I would probably not get started right away, but I would be willing to make a bit I reckon. Anything for post-apoc To the Batbrickmobile!
  25. I'll agree with this and Mr Mandalorian, more building sets and also better designed small vehicles. Most of all I want a different faction though. Exo-Force went downhill partially because it kept relasing the same figs from each side. I would love to see another villain and his army, maybe a cold themed one instead of Inferno? His colour could be blue and black. To the Batbrickmobile!
