Batbrick

Nice find TheBrickster! I really like the top one, the rickety, thrown-together-in-a-hurry-for-gold look is really effective. Little details like the dick and ladder at the bottom make it much better, and the little Orc invasion gives it some action. The rocks are my main criticism, they look fine but by the top they just seem flat, not really cave-like. Apart from that this is a very nice moc, I might try something like this one day (and no doubt fail). Batbrick Something! *wacko*

I only want one, so I'll have to get in quick. Either way its a success though, AFOLs will sell this thing out in two days. I agree, and an impulse woul be a perfect seller anyway. AFOLs would buy them out no problem, and I'm sure kiddies would love them too, I certainly can tell that they don't want just battles. I'm still hoping to get the advent calender though, please don't buy them all straight away Kimt! I'm quoting you twice, aren't i just scary? Its because I agree with you, again :-D I'm not much of a fantasy fan, the LOTR movies were great but I can't really sit down and watch one for three hours straight. But the way TLC has done this line is so good, I just have to get them. Plus, skellies and trolls are very useful for zombie and post-apoc mocs, or as mutants or what knows. Another great thing is the amazing new designs, who's jaw didn't drop when they saw the Battlewheel? That thing is totally unlike anything Lego has done before, so I look forward to new unique, fantasy designs. Batbrick Something! *wacko*

Yes, I remember that, sad thing. I do hope there is some dedication to him as well. I've been thinking, since my theory of a possible fifth set is now diminishing, I think another hope is too. There are Four sets. Three have Batman in them, and one has Robin. I was hoping to get two new batsuits, but when you think about it, with only three sets, we are more likely to only get one. At the most maybe another blue batsuit. Of course i still do hope there is a fifth set, but theres pretty much no chance now really. I guess I'll just have to cling to the hope that Gordon is in there somewhere..... Batbrick Something! *wacko*

I agree, TLC atleast needs to try civilian impulses, no doubt they would be huge sellers, castle folk world over would fork out money to get a heap. The advent calender gives us hope! Batbrick Something! *wacko*

Ah I see ;-) I reckon this will not earn a wave 2 Yoda, being that it is based on a single 2008 film that will be good, but not really a classic. I will be surprised if it does, but I reckon these four sets will be the only sets of Speed Racer. But you never know :-) Batbrick Something! *wacko*

Actually, *yoda* makes a brilliant point! TLC finds it hard to incorporate civilians into large sets because kids prefer weapons to stables, but the impulse line is the perfect way to get civilians. Think of it, a jester impulse, maiden impulse, farmer impulse, the list goes on! :'-) Batbrick Something! *wacko*

I disagree, JT was obviously a rip-off of IJ, but it was better. Indiana Jones sets are limited merely to the films and nothing else, but Johnny Thunder could go anywhere and do anything! :'-) Who wants to see a Temple escape set when Johnny Thunder had the beautiful Pharoah's Tomb and Dragon Fortress *wub* Batbrick Something! *wacko*
