  1. PM him via the forum, a user's direct email wouldn't be posted in the forum. There's a link to rebrickable embedded in the post.
  2. Ok boomer ;) But seriously, nothing is what it once was, otherwise we'd all be playing with spinning tops. The question is only whether the progress is going in a good direction. I'm not sure it is with a heavy reliance on licensed sets and mobile phone control of motorised models, but that's just my opinion.
  3. Rehosted: https://bricksafe.com/pages/A_morti/amg-one-/amg-one-eurobricks/c61049w Enjoy!
  4. I hadn't realised that. I will ask them to upload it on their homepage.
  5. CaDA are fairly responsive on their FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2218777094887398 Sometimes they prefer to leave it a few months after release to publish instructions, however I don't think that ones a new model, so it's worth asking.
  6. @msk6003 like this? https://decadastore.com/products/lp700-sports-car-c63004w They have various tyres for that size, from the Goliath, Hum-Vee, Telehander, and farm tractor.
  7. Right? But we {internet-} know the designers which, even if they are signed to secrecy, adds another layer of excitement to it.
  8. My 2c: some people march to a different beat. Such types may or may never conclude that it's better (or at least easier) to follow the regular beat, but they'll need to decide it for themselves and any amount of persuading is unlikely to tip the balance. If anything, more persuasion can generate even more push-back. So hopefully it's enough said, and let's get back to the bricks. Bruno has asked me to share a fix sheet from CaDA for anybody who received incorrect or mismatched worm gears: https://bricksafe.com/files/brunojj1/stuff/C61503W-thread-installation.pdf For the mechanism to operate as intended you need the reverse-threaded (relative to LEGO) worm gears from CaDA, so step one is to contact customer services and request them - they will be provided FOC. Of course that will take some time to arrive which might be annoying, but the rest of the job seems relatively painless.
  9. You can use multiple hubs, but you'll need a separate controller for each of them.
  10. Mouldking have ripped off multiple members of this forum so we don't mention them round here, but there are FB groups you can join for that.
  11. You can order some parts direct from CaDA website. However it's true that the available selection isn't massive.
  12. Now this is exciting. Something missing from CaDA til now, has been unofficial B models on rebrickable. If your model can't be built using only TLG pieces it won't be allowed at rebrickable. I guess you have at least one or two different size alternating beams? I wonder if CaDA would be interested in hosting the instructions, make it more official?
  13. I think the CV joints will be fine. Those front motors look a bit light...
  14. @AVCampos yes it is. There's 3 clutch gears in the AMG, two like that in the doors and an older type one in the spoiler. Or at least, that's what I got. Maybe I got the remnants of the old type?
  15. Too bad for us, but I get it. In any case - congratulations on being a published author!
  16. There we go. That part is broken now. You need the bigger hubs.
  17. Yes, we definitely should. What a lot of gears! What is the grey part above the blue gear? Can you give us any kind of a hint? The theme perhaps? construction equipment? military?
  18. Someone just posted on my BugFixes video that they received one of each worm gear and have one door going up and one down. I'll leave a pinned comment in case anyone goes to the video for that problem. Prune as you see fit, chief. I've mentioned before - it's your ball and I'm just happy you let us play with it
  19. Oh wow... you'd have one door up and one down! This guy's model also has the problem of ArcticGenes. https://youtu.be/cRJ-GXTNBEY?si=h58t4tjQV1cC-aB_ I have grey ones in the new design, so I don't think colour is definitive.
  20. @brunojj1 great observation, would never have thought of it. @efferman Here's the bottom of mine. https://bricksafe.com/files/A_morti/amg-one-/amg-one-eurobricks/20230912_002206.jpg Here's the one from @arcticgenes. It definitely has opposite worm gears to mine.
  21. Me neither at this point. He's told us the functions are not mirrored, shown us the gears are correct, but also told us the motors spin the same direction as expected (I had missed that point). Those things can't all be true. Feels like a video to explain the problem would be best.
  22. But there's exactly the problem. He didn't make a mistake, and yet the doors go up simultaneously with the spoiler going up. It means that one motor is wired in reverse. Since the two function motors are hard coupled through a junction box, you cannot reverse one without reversing the other.
  23. Can be I misunderstood, but here's what I got: He expects the doors to go up while the spoiler goes down as in the instructions. He has the gears all correct as the instructions. It's not working as expected, so must be one motor is reversed. Did you take different notes?
  24. The gears are definitely correct so yes if the doors and spoiler are going up/down together rather than opposing, then one of the motors is wired incorrectly. As above, either request a new motor if you don't mind waiting for it, or swap the bevel gears on both linear actuators if space allows (no parts required but hard to access and you'll be tight against the lighting wires), or figure a way to swap the bevel gear at the doors (motor and gears are accessible but there is a pin in the hole directly opposite so not as easy as it looks to change). It's the first one I've heard where it was wired wrong and 9/10 times it wouldn't matter anyway, but this time it's half of a pair.
  25. So, which CaDA model should I present next? Is the group interested in e.g. the Alfa f1 car?
