It's kind of pointless to be offended at the "Nazi colors" because seriously, it's a part of history. Censoring history because of a few bad eggs isn't very fruitful, as learning from the terrors of the past can help future generations avoid them. Plus, the real aircraft did have the black crosses, (not hakenkruezes) and I don't know about you, but a cross and a swastika have two different shapes. Red Baron was Red, Black, and White, with the white being the background for the black cross. Perhaps it would make more sense for the MOC to have Imperial cogs instead, as it's a TIE Fighter, but honestly, creative expression should not be hindered. Point being, at the end of it all, these are the colors of the Red Baron, this was the symbol on the Red Baron. If you're upset about a fictionalized Red Baron staying true to its roots, then maybe just admit it isn't for you and move on. There isn't anything "Nazi" about the colors Red, Black, and White, nor is there anything Nazi about pre-WWII flags and insignia. The Baron flew during World War I, back when Hitler was just an Infantryman. The Nazis wouldn't be a thing for at least another decade or so. Personally, I find it a brilliant mashup of designs, as so much of what we love about Star Wars was inspired by the World Wars.

Kinda off-topic, but I had an idea for like this armadillo tank for the Resistance, like the CIS Supertank but longer and sleeker. Since I'm not really a MOCer I never found a way to properly visualize it, but it's gotta be better than a friggin' tank tread!

Please, let the Sequels die... I do want Senate Reborn (who doesn't) but please, no Exegol set for more than like $30. Now a Nightbrother, or something Empire related? Yes please. But we all know what it's really going to be. A Snowspeeder Battle Pack! -
Gentlemen, gentlemen... isn't the Empire just Nazis in Space? That said, it's clearly meant to be more of an iron cross, though the Third Reich insignia could be construed as an alteration of said cross. In either case, the MOC itself looks quite nice, and considering the historical significance of the mash-up, any unfortunate resemblance is simply the cost of creative freedom.

It's definitely Geonosis, without question. I also can't see it being more than the usual $200. That could give it a good size without going overboard. However, a 4000+ piece version for $400 would look pretty nice, and would clearly mark it as a display piece and not "just another gunship". But as far as the price goes, they could include vehicles that fit inside the Gunship (a la ISD) like an accurately-sized AT-RT or BARC Speeder. It would also be cool if they gave us those Spider-Man webs in black (the string with bar elements) that way we could display clones on a zip-line descent. Some set ideas for January: Duel for Mandalore ($69.99): The Throne Room. Darth Maul, Ahsoka Tano, Bo-Katan Kryze, Senator Almec (S7), Supercommando. Gauntlet Starfighter ($89.99): Mandalorian Loyalist, Nite Owl, Captain Rex (Jetpack), 332nd Trooper (Jetpack). Mandalorian Speeder ($39.99): Remake of the 2013 set in Maul Colors. Gar Saxon, Rook Kast, Supercommando, Captain Vaughn, 332nd Trooper. Siege Troopers Battle Pack ($14.99): Mandalorian Loyalist, Nite Owl, 2x 332nd Troopers. The Battle Pack is the most likely set, but, one can dream.

As someone who has never bought a UCS set, I love the A-Wing (the actual craft) and have to have it. It would probably be cooler with the other alphabet fighters, but as its own thing, I think it's still worth it. It's down to what one would rather have. @Mandalorianknight I would suggest waiting to see if you like the AT-AT just as much or more when it gets revealed. That way if you end up feeling the A-Wing's not for you or the AT-AT is disappointing, then there's nothing lost. -
I honestly hope no one complains about the figure selection with the Gunship. Ideally, it would have one pilot, one private, and Yoda/Jedi Bob. I hope they don't give us some random fan-choice figure (i.e. Phase II Cody or Wolffe, ARC Fives) because that would be pointless. That being said, if Lego wanted to make the Gunship more desirable through figures (even though, come on now, some of us just want to display the damn thing ), I can see a lineup of about four figures: Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex, and a 501st Trooper (332nd Helmet included), to commemorate the Clone Wars (over a year later...) and give people some figures to display in the gunship. Now, UCS sets have had multiple figures in the past depending on the set (Shuttle & SSD had 5, DS had/has 24/27, Assault on Hoth had 15, Ewok Village had 17). Even the Sandcrawler (which is comparable to what the LAAT might be) had 14 figures (though many were droids). It's not impossible to expect a decent figure complement for the UCS Gunship, but it's also not guaranteed. With that in mind, my mind would be blown if they gave us: Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex, Hawk, Fives/Jesse, 501st Trooper, 501st Jet Trooper. Given how much Lego loves the 501st () it's probably not gonna happen, but I would kill for a team-builder like this.

ROTJ Wave 2 Jabba's Palace ($249.99): Has Jabba's throne, Rancor cage, Droid torture room, and front door (with security cam droid). Jabba the Hutt, Princess Leia (Boushh), Chewbacca, Han Solo (with new Carbonite block), C-3PO, Malakili, 2x Gamorrean Guards, Oola, Max Rebo, Tessek, EV-9D9, 8D8, Gonk Droid, Bib Fortuna, Salacious Crumb. Rancor. The Khetanna ($169.99): Includes a skiff. Jabba, Princess Leia ("Hutt Slayer" ), R2-D2, Luke Skywalker, Barada, Lando Calrissian (Skiff Guard), Boba Fett, Klaatu, Saelt-Marae, Ree-Yees. B-Wing Starfighter ($69.99): B-Wing Pilot (Adon Fox), Ten Numb, Rebel Mechanic, Rebel Commando. Millennium Falcon ($149.99): Lando Calrissian, Nien Nunb, Airen Cracken, Blount. For the figures, mostly. Rebel Strike Team ($14.99): Speeder Bike, Commander Rex, 2x white Rebel Commandos, black Rebel Commando.

While I'm disappointed that we no longer get May the 4th figures, I do admit these mini dioramas are pretty cool! I may have to snag the A-Wing right when it's released, that way I pick up the promo too. As for the (now debunked) Death Star II, it probably won't happen until they retire the current Death Star (which they'll probably just update and rerelease...) -

i mean, we've never gotten 6 figures (and yes the droids count damn it) in a $30 set, either. It's not outside the realm of possibility. Lego doesn't have "rules" per se, but fans have inferred patterns. While those patterns help us predict likely outcomes, we cannot forget that these are simply inferrences, and by no means rules Lego actually follow. I'd argue that it's more unrealistic to expect Lego to give us yet another Interceptor without something to entice the purchase. Especially another Anakin fighter. I know the two are different, but his Delta 7b and his Eta-2 aren't exactly musts. The 2014 one was fine. Granted, Grievous' starfighter isn't helping (no Cody), but at least the ship itself hasn't been around in 10 years. Add to that the fact that other starfighters generally didn't need third figures anyway. Anakin's fighter from 2014 was $25, his Delta 7 was $20. Obi-Wan's from 2016 was also $25. The last time we got a $30 starfighter (Jedi or no) was $2014, with the Tri-Fighter, which had 2 Battle Droids, Palpatine (randomly), and a Buzz Droid. So, again. Anything's possible, but we won't know until we see the sets. -
Following @Mandalorianknight's example and putting my battle packs into spoilers. Reserving any Maul vs Ahsoka set ideas for later in the season.

I decided to tag it, so. As for Vaughn, at the risk of sounding like a broken record (as I already am ), it's always possible, that Lego will finally decide to make a mold since Cody and Vaughn use it, and we all know Lego loves it's useless recolors. But, I'd much rather get Cody anyway, and there's no way they'll hold him back forever. Vaughn would be nice as the officer for a battle pack, but so would Jesse (and he doesn't have any new molds, but they seem hellbent on skipping ARCs too). At the end of it all, Rex and at least one 332nd Trooper is the most we can hope for. Maybe future waves will deliver more goodies. I'm personally more interested in the droids for the AAT. I'm 99.99% certain they're more B1s, but come on, Lego! Give us a couple B2s and a Droideka! Is that too much to ask for? -

I'm not saying you're wrong, but hear me out: Vaughn and Cody use the same helmet mold. Perhaps, and this is all I'm saying, Lego won't see the need to make Cody's helmet for one figure (him). But another clone could increase it's viability. It's nothing I expect to happen, but I mean, they have to give us Cody at some point. Why not Vaughn, just for fun? Of course I'm not expecting it to happen. But to say it won't with any kind of certainty, we just can't say. I expect the only new clones this wave to be Rex, the Jet Trooper, and maybe a 332nd guy. Anyone else would be nice to get (especially in a battle pack, where they'll throw in an officer anyway, so why not someone worth making), but it's not gonna happen, not in this wave, at least. You guys are too cynical. Nothing wrong with a little speculation. Anyway, back to the A-Wing. We're still waiting on a proper Grievous Starfighter leak, so until a retailer posts pictures, we probably won't see them. I'd guess May at the earliest. -

Who knows? Never say never my friend. I feel like the whole "no non-officers" thing is just a rule in the fandom. I highly doubt Lego has any thing against it on principle, they just haven't done it before. Besides, a battle pack is perfect for characters like Vaughn and Jesse. Especially given the fact that screen time means nothing to Lego (Horn Company, Bomb Squad, Hammer, etc.) And with Vaughn, they might have a reason to finally make a Cody helmet. With Cody alone, it's a one-use thing, with Vaughn, they could at least squeeze two uses of the mold. Certainly it's a reasonable assumption, if not expectation. -

Now that episode 9's out, I'm going to hazard a guess that we'll get Rex in the Interceptor, and Ahsoka + 332nd Trooper in the AAT. Then in 2021 we'll get a Battle Pack with Vaughn, Jesse, and 2x 332nd Troopers. That way, we (a) get the team together again, one last time, (b) get the more desirable clones (sans Jesse) in this wave, with the possibility of completing the 501st with a Battle Pack next year. I'll be utterly shocked if we don't see everyone in this wave (i.e. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, and Rex). And given how popular clone battle packs are (y'know, the $15 ones ) I wouldn't be surprised to see the 332nd get their own Battle Pack. -

I said the Gunship would be my first UCS... may have to eat those words While the sloping is a tad off on the sides, it's a beautiful rendition of the craft! The split in the nose, the dorsal "fin", and the engines are perfect. Could be less bulky, but I think that's a yes from me. Even the new windshield (?) is perfectly shaped! I always thought the older models (pre-2013) had the right idea for the cockpit, and this confirms it. Now I'll just need to buy the Y-Wing and have my two favorite OT craft in the UCS scale. Amazon is usually good with finding sets at discount. I've never done it personally, but it's an option. Don't know if UCS sets are often on there, though. -

They're both red. It's hard to tell because of the lighting, but they are dark red. It's the whole "Blue vs gray" situation but with A-Wings. -
Hey, that's the other sound brick! I.E. the better one. Not to mention I forgot about Jabba's Palace and/or The Khetanna. That's probably my biggest gripe with the sequels. I wanted the Resistance/New Republic to have ground vehicles and unique craft. Instead, just a mismash of old parts and the galaxy's sith-iest bomber. As for the ghosts, maybe tan and powder blue limbs and prints? With some transparent limbs? Even Chima had arms and legs in trans-blue, so it's something they must be experimenting with at least?

LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion

It's looking incredibly likely that Overwatch as a whole is dead merch wise. Hasbro's Ultimates aren't getting a second year of figures, and sadly, Lego seems to be done with the theme too. Which would suck since there's a lot of potential, even beyond the huge roster and locations. -
Some ideas for a ROTJ wave (2023 or earlier ) Imperial Garrison Battle Pack: Tree with turret, Speeder Bike. 2x Stormtroopers, Scout Trooper, Imperial Officer (Lt. Renz) Ewok Outpost ($24.99): Tree with lookout, Speeder Bike. Teebo, Tokkat, Luke Skywalker (Endor Poncho). Pit of Carkoon ($39.99): Sarlacc takes up most of the build, with a BP-sized skiff. Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, Brock Starsher, Vizam. AT-ST ($49.99): Chewbacca, 2x AT-ST Pilots, Wicket. TIE Interceptor ($69.99): TIE Fighter Pilot, Admiral Piett, Imperial Navy Trooper, Stormtrooper. Imperial Inspection ($109.99): Imperial Shuttle, not unlike the Tydirium. Grand Moff Jerjerrod, Imperial Pilot, 2x Stormtroopers, Darth Vader. The Final Battle ($199.99): A composite set, consisting of a complete Throne Room, and an Endor bunker. Luke Skywalker (Final Duel), Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, 2x Royal Guards, 2x Stormtroopers, 2x Scout Troopers, 2x Rebel Commandos, Han Solo, Princess Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2, Imperial Officer (Black Outfit), 2 Ewok Warriors, Chief Chirpa. And for fun (never gonna happen): The Rebel Fleet ($299.99): System-scale X-, Y-, A-, and B-Wing. Wedge Antilles, R2-A3, Horton Salm, Astromech, Arvel Crynyd, Adon Fox. Victory Celebration (???): Huge Ewok Village. Han, Leia, Chewie, R2, 3PO, Luke, Lando, Wedge, Admiral Ackbar, Wicket, Chief Chirpa, 4 Ewoks, 4 Rebel Commandos, Yoda (Ghost), Obi-Wan (Ghost), Anakin (Ghost). Just a massive figure pack, with a few midi-scale fighters for all your firework needs! Complete with two sound bricks (for Yub Nub and the Special Edition Theme ), and bleachers for the gang.

DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
ARC2149Nova replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Kind of like the Daily Bugle we got for Marvel. Superman, Lois Lane, Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, and Metallo would be a nice lineup. Well, we were discussing D2Cs, so while I agree the GCPD would be nice, it's not a great contender for a D2C set. A new Arkham, Hall of Justice, or even a Watchtower would be amazing. Personally, I hope we get more villain lairs and such, like the Legion HQ (Vader helmet and all ). -
DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
ARC2149Nova replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
To me, they have done good, but still could do better. A proper Arkham would need to be around $300-$400 to be truly definitive. With cells for all Bat-Villains current and future. A GCPD station would be nice, but as a $100 set, not a full D2C. There's not much to do with the GCPD, especially figure-wise, aside from Gordon, Montoya, Bullock and Cash. I would like them to sprinkle more officers in sets, though, but a dedicated station isn't needed. A definitive Arkham would be along the lines of 2013, but with a larger profile and more cells and special areas. Maybe a couple of extra buildings, like a medical wing and a cafeteria. A usual cellblock or two, with about 12 or so cells, and then the environment cells (Ivy, Freeze, Croc, Clayface), and a maximum security cell (Joker). Guard tower, and a processing center. Figures I would like are Batman (of course), Robin, Orphan, 2x Arkham Guards (SWAT outfits), Poison Ivy, Hush, Clayface (Big-Fig), Joker (of course), Scarecrow, Maxie Zeus, Mad Hatter, Ventriloquist (with Scarface baby-fig), and Firefly. Plot of the set could be that Firefly is attempting to break out the villains, and Batman and Co. must stop him. The cells could have hidden escape features and whatnot. A perfect Arkham for any Bat-Fan. -

Well, We had Arkham in 2013, Tumblr in 2014, '66 Batcave in 2016, Joker Manor in 2017, and the '89 Batmobile in 2019. So, we'll either get one next year, or a secretly planned one this year (yeah, yeah, but who knows). I'd want a new Arkham too, or a Hall of Justice. I think Arkham is more likely/warranted, as we need a bigger one with more cells, given we have more Bat-Villains since 2013. -
DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
ARC2149Nova replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
So, any chance we'll get a fourth or even fifth set this summer? Most likely not, but I wish we could get more new villains. As it stands, Bronze Tiger is amazing, Man-Bat could use a remake, and even Penguin would be nice if he gets a new look. But another Joker, Freeze, and Harley? Granted Harley is quite popular right now, but how long have we been waiting for like Ventriloquist, Black Mask, Mad Hatter? Though I had Firefly and Hugo Strange on my list for years, and that eventually happened, so I'm not complaining too much, but would it really hurt to get new Bat-Villains? That said, I like that Batgirl's getting another release, and also Nightwing. Maybe grey/black for Babs and (long shot) original Nightwing? But, Freeze'll be the same sounds like, and Joker'll probably be a huge reuse too. If they do a lazy Bronze Tiger/repeat Man-Bat, then I'll probably skip the set/figures altogether. And at the risk of fueling an old horse DC is too big a property for Lego to abandon it. Regardless of sales/lack thereof, Batman, Superman and their superfriends will always be popular among kids and adults.
