    Sharing my most recent MOC of the set 42123. I hope you like it! I was able to replicate the transversal rear mounted engine and the opening hoods. I am happy with the final look of the car given the limited amount of parts from the set.     This is an alternative build (C-model) inspired by the Peacemaker from Mad Max's Fury Road (2015 film) The instructions are 2 PDF files. The first, includes the steps to build the chassis (this is a replica of the car tank built and used for the movie) The second PDF includes the instructions on how to complete the model by building the bodywork. I included a mount base for display. Model is functional with or without the bodywork. I made an effort to make as realistic as possible and therefore the model is manual. i will upload versions of this using Power Functions and Control +, But I am working on other models for now. I made a YouTube video but it was one of my first videos ever and it's not as dynamic as my most recent video. Eventually I will create a shorter video once I have the motorized versions.

    Thank you for the comments. That is exactly my point. I constantly see complains that TLG is moving away from including a b-model in their sets (mostly from Technic sets) It is understandable they do not offer b-models from Lego Star Wars sets due to licensing; but that does not mean you cannot build alternative stuff from an official Lego Star Wars set. Wen I was a kid (Back in the 80s) I was a huge fan of Lego Space and I spend endless hours building alternative space Ships. In a way Lego Star Wars is the only alternative to build Space Ships in modern Lego. I made other alternatives from other Sets; feel free to take a look at my rebrickable profile. Thank You! I am planning to build more from this set but I have limited time and I am focused in a few Lego technic projects right now.     This is an alternative build of the Lego Set 75292 Razor Crest from The Mandalorean Show. For instructions visit my Rebricable Profile: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-69329/A_Great_Builder/slave-1-75292-b-model/#details The B-Model is also the iconic Slave 1. The ship used by Boba Fett. This Slave 1 version is inspired by the one used at the end of The Mandalorean season 2. You can see the detail in the ramp as it is a little different from the one used in The Empire Strikes Back.The cabin fits a minifigure and I included instructions to build a display. No additional parts are required; just the ones included in the set.

    Thank You. The wing support is very sturdy this way. (it also uses a Technic beam for additional support as you can see from the rear image) I am glad you like it!

    I feel this Volvo set should have been released 2 years ago using PF and pneumatics and have 42081 released this year using C+.

    I remember a Markus video explaining the design process, and he said for some models they create 2 versions for "play testing" (with a group of children) before deciding final production version. I wonder if for some of the newest models they create motorized and non motorized options and decide based on play testing feedback.

    I don't remember TLG using 2 licenses in the same set. That is why I found difficult for the F&F to be a supra. (I don't remember a Toyota licence for Lego neither) Based on the price I feel the F&F will be a small set based on a modified vehicle unique for the new movie similar to the fantasy vehicles used in the last 2 movies.

    Agree. Nevertheless, it will be great to see a gearbox powered by a servo motor and controlled by C+ interface.
