  1. I hope they break it and release Black Seas Barracuda in 2020, or I might be forced in the end to buy the Enlighten BSB (especially since Enlighten is about to stop production and this may push prices of used LEGO BSD ever further up). LEGO Tree video gives me hope.
  2. Ohhhh... Silly me. Thanks!
  3. Maybe they want to test the waters first. See how sales go with these products, and then decide if it's worth it to them for the return of the Pirates line.
  4. Honestly, I love bluecoats.
  5. This is very good! Thanks for the pictures! Added to my MOC "Pirate Buildings" collection.
  6. Ok, found it. Thanks! Damm... looks like another "Brick Bounty/BrickBeard's Bounty" design. The back of the ship gives the impression of being too tall. Seems LEGO team has run out of ideas. I'm not impressed. Will wait for a clearer photo. P.S: I was hoping for a re-release of the Black Seas Barracuda within 2020 after I saw the video with the giant LEGO brick tree, but now I see this will not happen. Hmmmm... I'm thinking of committing heresy...
  7. Where did you find this leaked photo?
  8. Also, this: Pirate Ship (31109) – €99.99 https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-creator-summer-2020-set-details-nuremberg-toy-fair-2020/
  9. You can always replace them with home made sails. My first thought. If it's in the style of the LEGO Pirates Ships we all love, I'll definitely buy it!
  10. Very nice! What did you use to make the sails?
  11. My first pirate sets were all bought together by my aunt, for me and my brother. 6235 Buried Treasure 6245 Harbor Sentry 6257 Castaway's Raft 6260 Shipwreck Island 6265 Sabre Island One year later, I bought myself 6234 Renegade's Raft, because the shark from 6257 was stolen by one of my classmates. That was all the pirate sets that I ever got... and I was left flipping through catalogs, dreaming of having all the ships and forts one day. But that's about to change! 6245 and 6265 were my favorites back then. I think because of the rotating shooting cannons.
  12. I'm amazed too! It seems like magic to me. Some up close photos the hull would be nice.
  13. Awesome design! I really like your full custom made masts! Also, I completely agree 1000% with what yanwilma wrote above. Time... oh man...
  14. Hello everyone! I'm Greg from Greece! I've been reading though the forums some time now and I thought to get to the next step and hop in. I'm a big fan of LEGO since very, very young and I absolutely love the Pirates Theme! I still have assembled and stored the few Pirates sets I got in late 80s/ early 90s (one of the few games that survived after my childhood). After a 25 years hiatus from LEGO, I'm back and I can't wait to get my hands on the new "Pirate Bay" set and also design and build some MOCs too (although I have to admit, at a first glance designing looks pretty hard)! Oh... I also love trains!
  15. I think that together with "The Pirate Bay", they are going to release some more pirate sets too. Maybe some new sets, maybe some re-releases of old ones. I hope they do both. .
