Lmao ? They’re sooo bad compared to the new wave. That’s why it drives me crazy when people complain about the current releases. Dude next to the greenhouse is a Death Eater. He actually has a decent face print. You can get a closer look at him and the Greenhouse and the rest of the set and minifigs here:

It was part of the 5378 Hogwarts Castle set. The little gray build on the left. Hard to find a good pic of just the greenhouse though.

I see. Thanks for sharing this. I’m still okay with the setup, though. I think all the castle sets will look great all lined up in a row like that. The clock tower is a perfect center piece. I am just baffled by thinking how much further they can extend Hogwarts next year... maybe we will just get a long aqueduct bridge to place in front of the castle where the Battle of Hogwarts can be played out? I could possibly see an Owlery set and maybe some more interior sets like the Room if Requirement, but not much more. That’s a great idea! I can’t wait to get my hands on the set and start playing around with it. Hopefully Barnes & Noble in the US gets their stock on July 1 like last year. Waiting till August will be murder.

The greenhouse is part of the Astronomy Tower set. I think they included it here to represent the scene when Harry catches Slughorn stealing Tentacula leaves. @TheRandomBlocker I’m so glad you are back on the forum - you were our hero last year and I so appreciate the sacrifices you made for this group. Unfortunately, since you’ve been gone there has been a lot of snarkiness and minimod behavior that has developed here. I assume it will be Great Hall, Clock Tower, Whomping Willow, Astronomy Tower. I added the Potions room from the Whomping Willow set to the Great Hall to make a smoother transition to the Clocktower’s Yule Ball room. My set up will ultimately look like this:

What do folks think that the “play features and pins” clue Kingnono gave us about the Diagon Alley set means? All I can think of for play features are some kind of vanishing cabinet trick in Borgin & Burke and maybe a moving arm with a top hat for the WWW mascot?

I agree ? - HBP Harry Ron and Hermione in the outfits they wear in Weasley Wizard Wheezes would be amazing. I think Harry’s got some kind of plaid shirt on under his jacket, Ron’s wearing a green striped long sleeve shirt, and Hermione’s in a dusty rose jacket with her hair pulled back.

I’d say it was pretty controversial. After the new Hogwarts students pack was released, there was a whole page of debate here about the fact that Cho’s color wasn’t screen accurate and that now all Ravenclaw minifigs, which folks were hoping to use as army builders, will have brown hands. (You can pop off the hands easily enough but I read somewhere that it’s technically against LEGO’s official recommendations). As we discuss the potential haul of awesome new minifigs in the Diagon Alley set, I think it’s totally legit to speculate if LEGO will include some black and brown minifigs, which may not be screen accurate but offer some diversity to the lineup, that could take the place of some other minifigs folks are anticipating.

True, but I believe that is changing and I think the controversial decision to make the Cho Chang minifig brown (or “nougat”) to indicate her representation as a POC reflects that shift. I’d rather see the random creepy Knockturn Alley witch (“Not lost are you dear?”) but I’m just being realistic. LEGO wants to appeal to a diverse audience. I agree ?. I’d much rather see Lee Jordan and Angelina Johnson (maybe in her Quidditch gear) than another Cho.

I agree with nearly all of your predictions except for this one. Kingnono gave us a clue about Gringott’s inclusion in Diagon Alley via a quote by Bellatrix / Hermione “I wish to enter my vault” so I think we are more likely to get Bellatrix in this set than Mr. Borgin. Maybe we will get lucky and get both. The other thing I took into account on my prediction list is diversity. I don’t think LEGO will release a set with 12-20 minifigs representing the Wizarding community and not include a single person of color. My guess is that the set will include minifigs Dean Thomas and Cho Chang in some form. Maybe Dean in Quidditch gear (would work well with Quality Quidditch Supplies) and maybe Cho in Muggle clothes as she appears in Weasley Wizarding Wheezes.

Could be both. I imagine we are going to get a CoS Harry, Lucius, and Draco, as well as an HBP Harry, Narcissa, and Draco so either scene could be played out. Kingnono gave a clue about “several families” being completed, which is why I am confident we are getting both Lucius and Narcissa. I wager the exterior of Borgin & Burke’s will look just like this and be tucked between Gringott’s and Ollivander’s:

Kingnono also gave us a more explicit clue about Gringott’s being included when he posted the quote: “I wish to enter my vault.” In the comments, he went on to say “can’t say too much about, but every quote has to do with a minifigure or PLACE that we get in LEGO in a few months.” Kingnono also replied “That’s true” in response to someone who said “I can only think of Hermione as Bellatrix saying this.”

Technically everything is still rumors and speculation as nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but a few weeks ago, in response to his Time-Turner clue, an Instagram fan commented: “@minga._.089 - My guess, we will get different Harry’s. Year 1 in Ollivander’s. Year 2 in Flourish and Blotts, Year 3 in the Leaky Cauldron, Year 6 in WWW and Year 7 in Gringott’s.” Kingnono responded directly to this person’s prediction and stated: “@_kingnono_ - @minga._.089 almost right :) ” There were many other predictions and comments on this clue, but this is the only one Kingnono confirmed was “almost right.” In my mind, “almost right” means you’re close but off by one thing. I think this person was probably off on the Leaky Cauldron prediction, but I guess we will find out soon enough. I’m curious to hear what other folks think.

The buildings rumored to be in the D2C Diagon Alley set include Gringott’s, Bourgin & Burke’s, Ollivander’s, Quality Quidditch Supplies, Flourish & Blotts, and Weasley Wizard Wheezes. Kingnono also gave us a clue about time travel... I think this means we may be getting multiples of some key minifigures at different time periods (similar to how LEGO included two different crews with characters at different ages for the D2C Millennium Falcon). Based on the building rumors, Kingnono’s clues, and my guess of 20 minifigures, my prediction for the minifigures are: 1. Harry Potter (PS Muggle Clothes) 2. Hagrid 3. Ollivander 4. They’ve used a snake head staff for the CMF Pharoah and Jafar. I could see them repurposing that for Lucius Malfoy, though it’s not really screen accurate. I would be the happiest nerd in the world if we got a werewolf Lupin in CMF, but I think it’s unlikely. I’m holding out hope that werewolf Lupin is the exclusive minifig in the GWP Hogsmeade / Shrieking Shack microscale set.

That’s a good point. They could just do different style Slytherin robes. As a Slytherin myself, I wouldn’t be mad about that. I wonder if Cat Hermione will be in Slytherin robes too?

Has anyone suggested the possibility that Harry / Goyle and Ron / Crabbe could be the same minifig with alternate head and hair pieces included? In other words, one CMF bag with one Slytherin torso, one Harry / Goyle head, one Ron / Crabbe head, and four hair pieces? Not sure how realistic this is, but I would hate to have two nearly identical minifigs take up two separate slots.
