Now with this all above there is something that comes to mind. Usually moulds are pampered like baby's and locked away in vaults. So why didn't use Lego the original vault to produce the original chassis? Only thing I can think of is that the mould doesn't fit on modern extrusion machines anymore. NO company throws away a mould.

I have one but I strongly recommend NEVER to let the thing alone. it was recently in the news here too, Ali junk is dangerous and in no way compliant to any safety rule. That in combination with the Lithium cell it's loading is actually quite dangerous. Just a minor glitch can result in fire and explosion. About the voltage: I will ask Mr. Fluke what he thinks about it tonight. Maybe a good idea to ask Mr. Tektronics if he wants to sniff on the signalform too.
