I'm curious as to if the new Lab will be a building, or a mobile pod that can swap out with the others in the Jan wave. But given that $35 (Assuming USD not CAD) is usually around £25-£30, I'm not holding out hopes for anything amazing if it's a solo building. (300ish parts at a guess, maybe as high as 350.) Assuming if it's a building, they'll want a small vehicle or side build that's usually 35 ish parts, figures another 5-6 each there's nearly 50 parts on two figs and a buggy.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
BlueLanturnCorp replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I love Animal Crossing, but you can't compare that as a CMF to say Looney Tunes, Simpsons or Muppets which will have a wider appeal. That said, AC would be better as polybags. Small build, character. -
LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion

Finally got around to building the sets. I'm glad the Ninjas aren't repeated over the first wave, and when they appear in more than one set, they get Variants. (Master Lloyd, and the recoloured hoods for Nya and Kai, hair and half mask for Sora.) Just wish they gave us a bit more of the dark blue hooded Wolf Clan figure. Only in 2 sets until March, whereas the full mask member appears in all but two sets, giving us 7 of him. Perhaps one of the two £18 mechs could have had a hooded member over a masked member, and Kai's mech the same to give us 4 and 5 of each. -

I'm curious as to what 60416 would have/will be. It likely either matches or falls between 60415 (£18) and 60417 (£25) in terms of pricing. I assume it'll contain the older crook in more casual clothing, as the others all pop up in a set in such. Most of them appear in the same set number as the poster, bar 60419 containing the flat haired crook from 60417. So to see the polybag poster I'm this set again would make sense. My prediction; £18. 200 parts. A rehash of 60137 (Tow Truck Trouble) with a Tow Truck breaking apart an ATM or towing a stolen item. A new colour of Police Motorcycle to better match the new colour scheme or maybe a new mold similar to the Harley-Davidson FLHP. Grey haired crook in blue overalls with prison fatigues underneath. Maybe the flat-top haired crook in a jumpsuit, with a female motorcycle cop. (COuld be a new outfit, or maybe the new black vest print. Printed tile from the polybag.

For those in the UK, GAME have a the sets at 20% off in the Toys Sale! I ordered all bar the Gimmick ones, just don't have an interest in those ones. -

Picked mine up too, and honestly for a magazine gift it's such a nice figure. I only really want to collect Ninja varients, so it lets me totally skip the £40 set he's in and just get the Cole in the much nicer dragon. -

Having picked up the 3 "Impulse" stunt bikes from the summer wave and the £18 Pirate bike one, I'm kinda on the fence about Stuntz as a sub theme. The Tub-bike and the plane bike are cool, but the figures seem more... plain then last years riders. -
New LEGO Speed Champions 2021 Rumors, Speculation
BlueLanturnCorp replied to Bartlomiej's topic in LEGO Town
For anyone interested in the twin packs in the U.K; Asda, John Lewis and Amazon all have the Dodge Pack for £35 instead of £50. £17.50 a car is so much better than £25 each. Tesco have the Chevrolet pack for £26 with the club card. £13 a car is reasonable rather than the £17.50 each the pack normally is.- 755 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2021 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Could the "Only 2 was be available for purchase" rumour hint at the concept of the AT-AT driver being a smaller one done as a GWP with the UCS AT-AT? -

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
BlueLanturnCorp replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Honestly, I think if we *do* get Toro, he'll be with his Podracer inspired speedster so I'd rather them dedicate a set to that. You could easily do Mando and Calican with speederbikes for £20~ like they've done with Ninjago in the past in the two bike sets, or up the price and make it £45~ with Motto, a couple of droids, The Child and a workshop facade. Granted it might not work in terms of the source material, but it'd at least provide characters people want and the speeders. -

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
BlueLanturnCorp replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Honestly, I hope they stick to the concept of "Scaled down" ships at the £35-£50 mark. The X-Wing and Tie Fighter were both great, but I'd love to see Darth Vader's TIE Fighter in a similar scale and again at the £35ish mark. Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin and perhaps an Imperial Officer in terms of figures. -

LEGO Ninjago 2021

Like these "Epic Battle" ones. You could easily have Lloyd vs Stone Warrior, for example and Nya vs Sky Pirate, for example to give us new print villains or just cheaper way to obtain one along with new costumes. Toss in Wu vs Garmadon as a final one and it's all 6 ninja, Wu and Garmadon in cheaper sets. Now, having built Zane's mech, I'm very impressed. The only thing I'd change is adding a second Ninja in the "Deepstone" inspired armor. Doesn't really matter who, though given that Nya and Zane both didn't get Season 3/4 inspired suits, it'd be fitting that they got Season 5 suits first together. Only three figures to go with the set isn't great. (I know we got Golden Jay, but I don't think he really fits in honestly.) -
LEGO Ninjago 2021

Actually, though this comes into speculation... If we get a minifigure pack for Season 14, I kinda hope it's based on the exploration party. Wu, Clutch, Misakai and maybe toss in Tim? Add a small side build of a mini totem or similar and it's a nice little addition. -
LEGO Ninjago 2021
BlueLanturnCorp replied to Driver Brandon Grumman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
And let's be honest, where builds are a bit lackluster the figures tend to be really nice for the most part. On the subject of figures, i really do hope they go forward like they have with S14 and not toss in exclusive figures in the most expensive set of the wave. it's nice to be able to totally skip the most expensive set until it gets reduced without watching out for the figures. With Kai, Jay, Mammatus and a Thunder Keeper appearing in 71747, Zane and a Thunder Keeper in 71746 and a Rumble Keeper in 71745, it's nice to think you can pick up say; 71745 and 71747 to get all the figures that appear in the most expensive set (Minus Zane), plus Cole, Nya and Lloyd. 5/6 Ninja, one of each villain and the Totem creature for about £5 more UK -

Looks like dual molded arms and MAYBE a new torso on Duke, but sadly nothing for Harl or Freya, minus the old torso with the newest helmet. -

Given that the show is leading a lot of new Police sets, I wouldn't mind a set that contains the Acting School. Given the plot it's in too... -

Ordered the new passenger plane from John Lewis yesterday. Hopefully it'll be here today. I've heard rumours of a promo image for the new Summer sets showing Duke in a new uniform. What's that about? -
LEGO Hidden Side 2020
BlueLanturnCorp replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Having built up most of this wave so far (Halfway through Lighthouse of Darkness, only got the Fairground left afterward), I must say I'm really pleased. The "weakest" set to me is Jack's Buggy, and even then that's purely the build as the figures (Though only one exclusive) are honestly fantastic to me. Even with similar versions of Jack and Parker across the wave, there's at least one totally unique Jack in the "Welcome to The Hidden Side" set. (Hopefully we get a Parker and JB like that to pair with the El Fuego and Jack.) -
LEGO Hidden Side 2020
BlueLanturnCorp replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Even if Hidden Side did end on this 3rd wave, or possibly a 4th smaller one, we'd not really suffer in terms of numbers for released sets. Excluding promos and polybags, Wave 1 was 8 sets. Wave 2 is 6, Wave 3 seems to be 5 unless we get retail exclusives. So a 4 or 5 set final wave wouldn't be all that bad in terms of numbers as it wouldn't be a sudden huge drop. -
LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
BlueLanturnCorp replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Picked up a couple of City sets yesterday, including the Police Box set and the £12 Figure pack. Saw Freya's Helicopter sets on display, and gotta say that it feels worse value in person. I know the Heli is one part and the play value there, but it just feels.. lacking, I guess? Freya's new hair/helmet is nice, though it appears in a much cheaper figure if you don't care for it being in different colors. Given that sets that retail for the same price (£18) include 60267 with 168 parts, 60242 with 185 parts, 60253 with 200 parts and 60256 with 190... It feels much worse value when it's barely hitting 95 parts. At the bare minimum, you get another 73 peices, and that set contains a lioness.
