  1. Totally agreed - as I am a kid of the Yellow Castle (I still have mine). They look amazing! You did a very good job. Making two minifigs out of one is a great idea. I for myself would swap the golden swords for gray ones. What is the color of the arms and legs - sand blue? I need two, better four of them ...
  2. Just out of curiosity: Set 375 (the yellow castle) had four factions with a coat-of-arms each. Three of them had a revival in set 10305. The only one which has no appearance in the dining hall of set 10305 is the Maltese Cross. Does anybody have an idea why?
  3. I also called in a few weeks ago and was able to order one elephant body which was delivered a few days ago. But the elephant head I was able to order online was canceled.
  4. Perhaps these legs: I found these legs some weeks ago in my local store.
  5. I built mine yesterday. Such a great little set. Haven't seen so much foilage on Lego trees yet. Love it!
  6. What a coincidence. That's great! As I had the Yellow Castle when I was a kid I need the knight! (At least twice - and I will add normal seized legs.)
  7. Yes, you are right. These are some good thoughts. I gave it a try and built a modern Wolfpack minifig today by using the biker's torso. I turned the back to front. (To improve it, I would remove the print on the [now] back and the print below the wolf's head with an eraser.) What do you think?
  8. This story continuous: I was in the Frankfurt Lego store yesterday and found this torso from cmf series 3 from 2011: But no legs, head or head gear ... unfortunately.
  9. I bought set 60331 stuntz cruiser-bike yesterday. The biker has the wolfpack logo on the back of his torso.
  10. Thank you very much. The safe is for keeping precious fossils safe and secure ...
  11. This is a MOC to expand the jungle subtheme (not the dino island subtheme as I am not very keen on living dinosaurs). Johnny and his friends have erected a paleontological research site to dig for fossils and to examine them in situ. Once again I have used as base one of these 12x24 bricks to give the impression of a river bank.
  12. Was in a Lego store this week and found in the BAM tower a brand new torso of the cmf series 12 "Dino Tracker" from 2014. A lucky, but imho strange find.
  13. I always thought that the car in set 5987 (Dino research compound) is of a very poor design especially as it lacks the Adventurers' cockpit piece (part 30149). So I redesigned it and gave it a more robust and classic style.
  14. Thank you very much. But that's not my MOC. It's set 5976. Only the 12x24 brick instead of the baseplate is my "invention".
  15. As mentioned several times earlier I'm a big fan of these large 10x20 or 12x24 bricks. Especially as they give the impression of a river bank. I always asked myself why set 5976 (River Expedition) came with a 16x24 baseplate and this strange little pier which looks weird imho. So I built this set on a green 12x24 brick and changed the pier somewhat. The only thing which had to be removed was the skeleton statue outside the "temple". I added more details inside the "temple" to give Achu some proper equipment. N.B.: This black chauldron is from an original Fabuland set when I was a kid. So it has "Fabuland" written on its bottom.
  16. Just a small MOC today: Mike uses a small steam powered boat to navigate on the jungle rivers and to transport supplies for Johnny and the gang.
  17. I have to wait for the torsos to be delivered with my latest B&P-haul ...
  18. I bought it on Amazon, too. It works perfect and very accurate. Thanks a lot again!
  19. The new noodle shop (set 31131) could be used in an Orient Expedition setting (with some minor changes to give it 1920/30's style).
  20. The Stuntz biker from set 60342 will make a perfect adventurers‘ pilot.
  21. Achu, the ruler of the jungle and the guardian of the golden sun disk, with three of his warriors:
  22. Have you ever wondered where they hide themselves and their treasures? Well, that's the place: The secret jungle hideout of Senor Palomar and Max Villano. Built as always on my favourite 10x20 brick which gives you the impression of a river bank. The upper part of the tree house is inspired by set 60071, while the lower part is a typical tree from LEGO classic castle sets.
  23. Good points! I wasn't aware of either idea when I created these minifigs. I just wanted to make good use of the torsos and the heads. I call them by myself the "two Ottoman officials" or the "Turkish twins". Today I may present Agatha Appelboom and her blue touring car. When I first saw this cockpit piece - which first appeared in the legendary Scorpion Tracker (set 5918) - in 2019/2020 in the new colour dark azure in two Hidden Side set and the Haunted House (set 10273) I immediately knew I had to build a new car in the old Adventureres' style. And here we go! In the meantime this cockpit piece came out in lime, too (set 76180).
