Ordered newest Lego wheels and wheel holder to replace all BB train wheels!
-
I ordered 40 wheel sets (80 wheels and 40 wheel holder) from lego today. The old holders and wheels are still listed, but didn't find any metal axles. Doesn't matter to me, the new ones are cheaper and run just as fine, imo. I plan to use all these Lego wheel sets for some bluebrixx rolling stock which have terrible wheel sets despite having metal axles!

I ordered some Trixbrix stuff yesterday. I can't wait to try this stuff out. They look really good from what i have seen in videos and such. Would love to have bigger curves than the standard R40, but space is a big issue there. Also their narrow gauge tracks, with all sorts of shapes, look awesome as well... This is what i ordered in standard gauge Right Switch R40 | €12.00 2 pcs. Left Switch R40 | €12.00 2 pcs. Triple Switch R40 | €18.00 2 pcs. Right Switch Curved 45 deg. R40 | €15.00 2 pcs. Left Switch Curved 45 deg. R40 | €15.00 2 pcs. Curved Track R40 (half) | €2.00 3 pcs. Crossing 90 deg. Long 2x | €15.00 1 pcs. Crossing 90 deg. Short 2x | €12.00 1 pcs. Double Straight Track Set - 10 pcs | €23.00 1 pcs. Half-Length Straight Track Set - 10 pcs | €15.00 1 pcs. Straight Track 1/10 | €1.00 2 pcs. Straight Track 1/16 | €1.00 2 pcs. Straight Track 2/16 | €1.00 2 pcs. Straight Track 3/16 | €1.00 2 pcs. Straight Track (quarter) | €1.50 2 pcs. Buffer Stop | €3.00 5 pcs. Curved Cross Track R40 | €6.00 1 pcs. Wye Switch R40 | €16.40 1 pcs. Double Slip Switch R40 | €21.00 1 pcs.

Is it possible to use two cada buggy motors on one cada battery box socket? Ir will it be too much current for one socket? I want to use this in zerobricks mercedes G700 6x6 (from a different toy brand which shall not be named) and had problems with too much current and some heat deformation, when using two motors (different brand) on one socket of the battery box (also different brand). So question is would Cada be better in this case??

I played with it for a while now and the plugs got a bit to warm around those tiny contacts. They still work though. Would it be better if i change the 2 MK buggy motors for Cada ones, also using a cada battery box? Or do these have the same current and such?

Really love your trucks! One thing: Windshiled wipers are mounted on the wrong side for RHD -
Now this has also quite a few "normal" size steam engine wheels. Don't they come in a 3-pack with 2 wheels with flange and 1 blind wheel without? Would be awesome to get tons of wheels on the market again. Not to mention those huge wheels, which seem to be only wheels with flange

Alright Cada... I have the red 4x4, Brunos 488 and also Tjis de Boers blue Lambo. Iv'e build that Lambo yesterday and i can agree on what people have said. It was the hardest set i have ever built! And i can agree that Cada needs to work on their clutch power of parts. They are way to loose, compared to Lego and others! And that doesn't help with the already hard to build Lambo! I always watch Held der Steine (German Youtube channel about brick models) And he always praises other brands (than Lego) for their great quality and everything is fine in his eyes, apart from Lego which are evil and have low quality and such... Rubbish! They are not all great, and he also shows some stolen stuff (like the other brands 488 convertible i've mentioned) and doesn't even say that, nor does he say that Cada has less quality. He says they have good maybe even better quality than Lego... Yeah right.. I watch him to see what there is on the market and some sets are great. But sometimes there is a good reason why Lego is more expensive. But the sets himself look great and work. I have yet to build Brunos 488 and i think it will be a great build and all, but i doubt the parts will have better clutch power... So these 3 sets will be my first and also my last Cada sets, at least for now... This is a gear from the blue Lambo, which has clearly not moulded very well, and that wasn't the only weird part in the set!

Really cool build. Never heard about the Miura concept. Sometimes Lego builds makes you learn new things :D

No you don't need to! I know that we are in a Lego Forum! I said i did not know that (about the copying) literally above your comment!!! My main question was if there is something to know about the CADA italian sports car if i build it without the electronics! I said there is a unmotorized version of that CADA car, and then i just mentioned that there is also a different brand which no motorization of this set, thats it! Jeez ! I just have a question about a CADA set in the CADA topic, and the world is about to end. I thought this might be a legit set and @brunojj1worked with those as well or something. I don't know!

@brunojj1 I think i leave all electronics out of the "Ferrari 488", to have it as a shelf queen. There is a non motorized version of the red one so the yellow one should be the same. All Lego 1:8 and the other Cada supercar "Lambo Centanario" are non-motorized, so it fits to these models. And i could use the electronic components for something else. Also the shifting servo gets forced to only do 45° and i don't think he likes it that much for long! So i won't need the metal u-joints. Is there anything i need to know when i leave all motors and such out? I heard the shift paddles don't work without the motor...
