I think these are highly valuable if they work and are genuine lego. You can set a high price, but finding someone who is willing to pay is a different story.

I don't get why the price for 10183 is that high? Apart from train specific stuff it's just basic parts and you could bricklink it together way cheaper...

Speaking of which, i was thinking having the pivot points for the noses not between the wheels, but rather at the axle which gets driven, so the center axles. And yeah the disk thingy needs to be at the same level or one stud over the rods

Hope someone will make a mod with the center disc wheel thingy connected to the rods and spinning.

Now i know why the blind wheels are mid air! Because the whole model is placed on two bricks on the stand. If you remove those bricks all wheels should touch the rails. Or is it because of the rubber band?

Same with Panel #21 in the 42115, some are lime and some are a little darker, so they come from different machines, same could be with that gear!

I guess the gearbox is for when you use the hand crank or drive to rotate the drum!

Had the gearbox problem as well! Change the tan double bevel gears to some older ones, which are smaller ever so slightly. Doesn't matter if they are grey, tan or black. Especially with the two differentials where 2 each are used, you will feel a difference.

Please everyone let us know if they have the same problem! This literally grinds my gears :D

Right, i changed the tan gears to old ones and now everything is smooooth :D You know those 4l white bars in the front suspension? There is a lot of stress on them and i don't think they will last long?

So iam not the only one with a clunky gearbox? I noticed it first when attaching the rear axle to the gearbox, before that it worked better...

Same with wheels on! Was there a problem with those tan gears?

I have just finished build box one, and one of the gears feels clunky. I think its 1st gear. I made sure every gear and axle had some play, but some things turn not smooth. I don't hear cracking, but idk...

The rims are more silver than white at those spots on the spokes, technically they are called machined, or diamond cut surface (like Lego did with the Chiron rims) . Anyway i will paint mine as well, in glossy black with silver paint on the "highest" spokes! Mine got shipped today as well, must be here on thursday i guess! The Chiron shipping 2 years ago was'nt that big of a deal, compared to the Porsche 2 years before that, waited 1 month on that thing back then.

Germany is now to 1 per customer, backorder with shipping on 8th June as well I stayed up to midnight and ordered it today at 00:01 ... currently "in warehouse" You even could have ordered 2 at this time, until this morning. Shame they went sold out so fast and not everyone got a chance!

So its normal blue and dark blue? The drum looks pretty much like an enlarged version of an old city set.
