Fantastic! You did a great job on the shape .... always a struggle for me.

I do have design ideas for the tug and barge to be functional ... but the drawback is space ... all these ideas I have come up with lately are huge builds and require a ton more of space.

I thought about that too, but it's not this was just an idea I had ... I personally have no plans to build it. I also thought of the loading ramp and a couple of tugs, but I don't see this idea going much further than digital, unless someone else wants to build it. Always wanted this set as a kid ... but I don't think it was for sale in the US.

I thought this train barge would be a great idea to use as a parking lot for rolling stock for large train displays.

No particular engine .... just looked at a lot of photos of ?-6-? steam locomotives, but I did want to make it have a matching color scheme to the rest of my fleet of locomotives.

Here's my first try at a steam locomotive ... I still need to add some cosmetic details and graphics. Once finished it will be added to my coal train fleet.

Pretty much all of the real estate you see in this image was built by my friend Stuart Kahler ... which he won best individual train display at Brickworld, Chicago 2019.

Thanks! All the graphics you see on all my MOC's, I designed and created all the art myself as well as the printing on the Lego pieces. None of them are stickers, decals, or cut adhesive material. Each car does have an individual car number and serial number. If you look at the model number (CGTNTX 3) the number "3" represents what design version it is. Out of the 12 cars I made there were 5 versions. I did consider multi color cars, but decided to keep everything uniform and matching with the lime. Here is one idea I had for the cars ... When building the locomotives I took design elements from several different types of locomotives and put it together. None of my MOC's shouldn't look like any particular model. I don't know of "anitigrav dewitt" but I did see an image similar to what I built.

These are the coal gondolas that are used with my unit coal train as part of my coal train facility. Each car can hold one large PAB cup worth of material. It's not a weather balloon .... custom designed and manufactured specifically for my airship. I did originally did buy a weather balloon, but it was not large enough to handle the weight of the ship and there was a safety problem. A weather balloon can burst and down she goes ... very bad situation. If this were to get punctured, it would only leak and slowly descend to the ground. I drew all of the wood grain in Adobe Illustrator and printed all the dark red Lego tiles myself. You can see examples of everything I print on my FB page in albums.

Here is photo during some testing. Train Indexer by Terry Akuna, on Flickr I was supposed to show it this year at Brickworld Chicago 2 019, but I wasn't able to make it, so I'll be showing it as a full coal train facility. As far as Best Train Award .... it's not a train. But, Thanks, anyway.

Here is what the Indexer looks like with the Rotary Dump. NOTE: All the red brick is a substitution for PF parts. I had to strip them for another project until my order for more PF parts comes in. Train Indexer by Terry Akuna, on Flickr

In real life indexers are whats used to feed or pull cars through the rotary dump. originally I designed mine to feed the rotary dump. Right now I'm redesigning the conveyor belts and indexer so it pulls the cars through the rotary dump, which is actually more practical to be able to unload the last car. The Indexer actually moves the entire unit train at one time ... however, it's designed to load only 1-2 cars into the Rotary Dump at one time, but all the cars are still connected together. Here is a video of cable driven indexer pulling cars through the rotary dump.
