  1. It might be the same one because I get a lot of my pieces off of Ebay too. I think $68 is just the right price for that set. I hardly buy from the Lego stores because that's where markups happen the most. I either go to local department stores like Wal-Mart or Target or find a great deal on eBay. I'll just say this now, the new hospital is a righteously great set. But I don't think $120 is worth it. Got mine on eBay for $90 which is a much more reasonable price for the set. I only go to the Lego stores if it's something I can't find anywhere else.
  2. Bro! I found some great deals for the set on eBay. One was for $68 with free shipping. Would've gotten it, but like you, someone beat me to it.
  3. YES!!!!! All jokes aside though. I still have to get the bank for my town. That building is still missing in my town. Gotta get my financial situation straightened out before I even think of getting more Lego for right now though.
  4. Yup! I've blown a lot myself only for the sets to end up as spare parts for MOCs or modifications.
  5. Nah! Lego is a lifestyle man! It's a way of living......when you've got the money for it.
  6. I do wonder when the train station and passenger train will be revealed.
  7. Yes......I love the hair piece. But I also love the outfits for the farmers included in the sets. To me, it gives an even bigger feeling of it being an industry (which it is) instead of just a plain folks thing.
  8. Yes I guess you can say....I'm disappointed but in a good way. Because a set that I expect to suck, is actually amazing.
  9. I agree! That barn may be a 4+ set, bit it's perfect for my town.
  10. I guess the closest we'll get to that would be in the Great Vehicles subtheme. Unless you're willing to go onto the internet and get the set from 2009 for almost $300.00.
  11. I hope the passenger train impresses me just as the freight train has.
  12. Allow me to make a slight correction on something I said in that statement though. As far as civilian torsos and legs are concerned, I don't mind it showing some gender specifics from time to time. Adds a bit flavor. I was mostly saying gender neutral as far as worker portrayal goes. Even for police, they have torsos for separate genders.
  13. Dang! I just looked at the comments about that shirt. It looks like a lot of people agree with me. You think that's bad, you should've seen the new paramedic torsos. The ones made in 2018 and 2019 were waaaay better. More diverse. The new ones from 2022 are too British looking. No offense to my fellow City fans from the land of ol'Blighty. I just like torsos to be gender and region neutral. That's all.
  14. Not really a fan of the one on the left. Older public transit worker torsos were better. Love the one on the right.
  15. It's fun to see Lego break tradition with their City theme sometimes. Like they did with the school.
  16. This new locomotive definately isn't like any cargo train locomotive that I have ever seen before. An electric one to be exact.
  17. I saw it. They look just perfect for my town.
  18. YOOOO!!!!!! Those was my exact thoughts. I think I'll heavily consider this one. I said on Instagram that my only disappointment would probably be that the locomotive isn't black and says "Special Transport". That would make it a road going version of the aircraft carriers from 2018 and 2021.
  19. I only have one disappointment. That's the fact that they told us that the locomotive was supposed to be red. But otherwise, I kinda like it.
  20. Ooooh! Will you send me the link please? I want an idea of what I should be looking forward to.
  21. I remember that one. I think I had it and it was supposed to be a release for the Airport subtheme. But I used it for the transit system in my town. That was back when buses weren't even a thing in City like that.
