  1. It's time to put the city back to work again. Here are some set ideas I have, which are just buildings and locations. Grocery Store (includes 16x16 stud wide grocery store and food delivery truck) est. $59.99 ? Octan Service Station (includes six stud wide tow truck, car, motorbike, car wash and auto rapid bay) est $69.99 ⛽ Bus Terminal (includes terminal building with indoor waitingwaita, fare machines and mini city bus) est. $79.99 ? Airport (includes big passenger jet, terminal building and luggage trolley) est. $99.99 ✈ City Pizza (includes pizzeria building with dining area and guest entertainment along with pizza delivery vehicle) ? est. $49.99 Post Office (includes post office building with mail van) ✉ est. $49.99
  2. Dude! The one I'm determined to grab is 60228. That's a guaranteed building in my City.
  3. Dude! I want the garage theme to return. As an automotive student (I finished my business degree btw), I take high offense that it was basically a one-off subtheme that left the shelves by 2010 and didn't come back. The only signs of roadside assistance sets were the various tow trucks that we got throughout the following years. No! I want the garage subtheme to return.
  4. I do have to admit that the cargo subtheme is in need of a re-release and a ship. Never say never though. One should be coming soon. Cargo sets do just as well as police and fire sets.
  5. 2020 City Subtheme Idea 1: Forest Exploration ? Forest Exploration Base Mobile Artifacts Lab Hidden Treasure Ancient Castle Forest Exploration People Pack 2020 City Subtheme Idea 2: Metro Transit ? City Bus Commuter Train Cable Car Transit Center
  6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x94ZAGaPzIk&list=PLspcQ7QIl2v6pIpXQ5PZPOfKUw_yjTyUu&index=20&t=0s Ok! So here is my proposal for 2020 City. I really love City Beautiful's review on City sets. So I'm gonna go off of that hilarious theory. My proposal is that we put the City back to work again. More jobs! More housing! Less crime!
  7. Please have them do that. Thank You!
  8. Well I can't remove this! So there.
  9. @Digger of Bricks What do you think about my idea for a Forest Exploration subtheme?
  10. So.....I hear that there are going to be more fire sets for City in 2020. 2020 is also a guaranteed police year as police comes every three years, usually following the fire year (which was this year). The 2020 wave for City seems to really be the topic of conversation as of now too! But other than the police sets and the added fire sets, what else would you like to see? Let me know down below.
  11. I think they should do Forest Exploration! You know? Like nature spotters and tree surgeons. Heck, you can also have situations where an explorer is being chased by a bear or wolf. The latter would be hilarous. We may also see a Jeep set for that matter.
  12. The exploration fandom seems to huge here.
  13. I'd rather see the farm theme come back. I definately want the Deep Sea Exploration theme to return. Deep Sea Exploration is one of two explorers themes I like. The other being space. We have enough aircrafts for City. Though....I would like to see the return of Airport or Cargo. Add a cargo ship to the latter, since I haven't seen one of those since 2007. I'd say so. I'm standing by my statement. I want a metro transit subtheme with more buses and maybe a train or two.
  14. Finally we agree on something. Though I'm also wagering on an airport firetruck like they did in 2014. Looking back on it, I think I stand corrected about there being no fire sets for 2020. They've actually released fire sets two years in a row before. 7944 Fire Hovercraft and the 60061 Airport Firetruck were examples. Both were released during police years (2008 and 2014).
  15. That last part is my other main concern about City. Too much police. They should've stayed with the original police and left it there. The original Police and Fire sets brought in plenty of money to survive every year. Don't worry! I have her on my ignore list. She started following me around to where it became scary.
  16. @Bornin1980something Now THAT'S something I can agree on. Truthfully speaking, space kinda gave me a change of heart on explorers themes. I guess them being City themes aren't that bad. I actually think I may need some arctic sets for the snow patrol team in my city. If only I could find a way to build a snow plough.
  17. The space wave for this year is ok. I'd probably use the main base and rocket assembly for my town.
  18. Actually, those were a huge part of my childhood too. I actually owned the launch pad that was in Lego Island 2. Now long review short, the explorers themes don't really bother me like they used to. This year's space wave is ok. But I think I like the previous launch pads better. More simplicity. I think this is a space set that I'm going to have to get used to. Personally, I like the 2015 launch pad better. Though I think there is space in my town for this.
  19. @Peppermint_M That's one of the old ones though.
  20. That's a good plan.
  21. I would've assumed that the Lego stores would be a sensible place to find that.
  22. I would love to see a treehouse. That would look good in my town. Build a park and put the treehouse right in the middle.
  23. Tbh, it didn't really....well....make sense. I mean, we already had police helicopters for the other police sets. This was simply done for fan service. But if they absolutely had to do it..and trust me, I actually thought they were gonna do this... but remember Space Police? Yeah! That's what they should've done. Instead of messing with City, get an entire different team all together to handle those. Along with it's own theme because that one definitely sounded like it should've been standalone with no hint of it taking place in the City universe. Make it take place in the distant future. But I want your opinion on something else. What do you think about overlapping subthemes?
