  1. Great Job @Carefree_Dude!!!!! I look forward to seeing how your Big Boy moc turns out. I'm sure it'll be awesome.
  2. So in other words.....they've got more options.
  3. @icm You da man! Thanks for the help. I see they've already went along with my recommendation for Police btw. Also, shouldn't the hospital go under fire brigade as most of the time....medical first responders usually work alongside them?
  4. @MAB I'm going to end this conversation by saying this. If you go on the site and click "about", you'll see the subthemes there. On the old official City webpage, including the last one, the sets were separated by subtheme. You must have been looking in the wrong place. I'll show you the link right now: https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/city/about The whole website hasn't been updated so Turbo Wheels is not there yet.
  5. @AMD Didn't they already do something like that?
  6. That is true. I agree with everything in this paragraph. I myself am actually working on a few MOCs. My next one is a gym.
  7. @MAB It doesn't necessarily have to be on the box for it to be under a certain theme or subtheme. This is the police station that I knew as a child: No where in the box does it say that its part of "Town Jr". But we label it as that and that's what Lego calls it. I'm going to say this to you and I pray to God that I don't have to say this to you again. Stop trying to "correct" someone all the time. It doesn't make you look smarter. I makes you look like a know it all. Also stop disregarding my statements just because I see things differently than you. That's very annoying.
  8. It appealed to me too. I work in the automotive field so thats why.
  9. You should've read what I said on the topic "When should City be discontinued?". I said that City should do what Creator does. That way, they'll have more options. City 4+ - Though they basically already have that one out and I guess its already been made official. City Jr. - This is the current City we have now. I mean, I see a lot of similarities to Town Jr sets in the current City sets. City: Build & Protect - Based off of the internet game that you can find on the Nickelodeon website. This however, is more focused on town planning than action and its mostly geared towards Lego town planners who want simple, but detailed buildings.
  10. I know police stations sell and all, but I do wonder how a couple of police sets with no station to accommodate them will do. They do something like that with those swat sets that came in 2013. They obviously did well or else the following year, 2014 wouldn't have had one of the biggest police waves in history.
  11. @fred67 What do you think of my idea on My City? Its basically a spin off of City, but its centered more around town planning. Its a similar objective to classic town.
  12. We would've brought it. But the KFOLs wouldn't have liked it apparently.

  14. Well open them and build them then!
  15. I'm assuming that last year's police wave (Sky Police) was that one police wave. Thus why we have lesser police sets than usual for this wave. Well I'll just tell you. It was a picture of 6369 Repair Shop. The old one from Classic Town.
  16. So......it looks like Lego has finally made a replacement for the My City series. The only problem is that you can only play it on the Nickelodeon website. It would make sense if you could play it on the Lego website.
  17. Isn't that why the designers at City have pretty much sworn their allegiance to the police? Because they DO sell. Unless sales is just a scapegoat for a much deeper message that City is trying to tell us. I love to overthink so I believe is something deeper. I can't really show you exactly what I have in mind. But....think of it as something similar to the outline of the tuning workshop. Yes it is. But that's a modular. I'm speaking of something similar to the tuning workshop, but more generic. Like this. Or an actual stand or parlor. Tbh, I like eateries better than vans. I figured it would go better under this brcsuse it wouldn't likely do well as a standalone.
  18. I agree about a lot of police. Im just surprised we haven't seen one yet. What do you think about the other ideas on there?
  19. Yo! I would be ecstatic if they added spring waves to the winter and summer. Btw, that's what I'm saying. So why not just put them as annual extras under one police theme? Like as in don't separate the police themes based on where the police work. That's frustrating. What about the new turbo wheels collection? 60255 to 60258 were some of the best City sets I've ever seen. As a worker in the auto industry, a subtheme focused solely on the automotive industry was something I've been calling for since the garage subtheme left the damn shelves before it's time. Don't worry Lego. I'm not mad at you anymore for that. Uh....I'll pass.
  20. Serious Play! That must've costed you a fortune.
  21. Nah! City ain't leaving. So we AFOLs don't have nothing to worry about. I do agree with @MAB however. The idea in general of subthemes should be no more if they really do exist. I also agree with you that we would prefer more adult/realistic buildings. I guess that's why we've got modulars. But if Lego sincerely saw a market for this, and trust me - I believe it could work, allow me to explain. MY CITY!!!!!!! I basically would do a spin off line of sets that are made by the same designers of City sets. Like Creator 3in1 and Creator Expert - comes City 5-12 and My City. City 5-12 would be the same version of City that we see today. "My City" would be targeted to a more teenage audience. It would be much different than 3in1 and would be a step up from regular City and 3in1, but under the modulars. Buildings would be simple, but detailed like the 2019 fire station. This version of the "City" line would focus more on town planning than action - though vehicles would still be involved. It would be like the "My Own Train" line from the mid 2000s only with buildings. We'll still have City, but that'll be for the younger generation. But let's be realistic. That isn't going to happen.
  22. Lego City needs to do some standalone train cars for its train line. Guess its kinda the wrong time to ask for an engine shed similar to the one that's from World City.
  23. The corner garage is my favorite because I'm a total car nut. I'm actually studying automotive.
