I like the colours on the walls and floor but my eyes were drawn too the fireplace, which you have done very well. The story is also very good, and I'm exited to see what comes next!

Those trees go very well with the landscape, I like the layout but the little cottage has got to be my favourate! I also enjoy the story, and you seem to have nailed it on the camera angles here too! Great moc!

The colours and textures used here work perfectly! I Like the tree and the house is with the pumpkins is perfect! -
Nice moc, the walls and building look good and the foliage is good too!
-
Great idea and thanks for sharing your process! it's looking great so far, especially the banner. I can't wait for the next one!

I like the snowy ground and stream, the minifigs are good too! I also like the design on the bison/ox as well as the base of the moc. The photos are also good although I would have too agree that it would help if they were a lower. One thing I like to do with my photos is getting very close for some of my shots and playing around with the focus like @Henjin_Quilones said, and then also make sure I have a few photos from a more forward angle. I have also found with builds of this size that I never need as many photos as I think.

Thank you so much! When building this I was inspired by your norse builds!

[AoM: House - Phase I] The Valley
Eoin Wallace replied to Louis of Nutwood's topic in Guilds of Historica
All four of these builds are great and the storytelling is fantastic! The builds all show off your style which I like a lot. the first one is my favourite with the incredible perspective shot and great building techniques! Awesome mocs and I can't wait for the next chapter of your story! -
Great moc! I like the idea of the books and the story is good too. My favorite part is the forest and underground, both have amazing atmospheres and colours. Keep it up!
-
I like the happy atmosphere that you've created with this build! Also, the techniques used on the mill and tree are very life like and the path is great too!. All in all an amazing build with great photos and minifigures.

Great Mitgardian Santa! Every one of these builds are amazing. I have enjoyed seeing a new one every day, with fun ideas like the Mitgardian bather! My favorites are the last week with the snowy tree and Mitgardian Santa.
-
I like the secluded waterfall, the snow is great and the people making snowmen is a great touch too! I'm also a fan of the architecture style that you used here, which is framed perfectly by the amazing rockwork. Keep it up!

[AoM: Stables - Phase I] Wash away
Eoin Wallace replied to Louis of Nutwood's topic in Guilds of Historica
I enjoy the new textures here and all the colours look great together! I also like the clear pieces to represent melting ice, and the minifigs are all great too! -
Looking great so far!
-
Thank you so much! That will be very useful.

Wow! So many good things about this build! My favourites are probably the details and nice dark colours on the trees and ground and the nice way the castle is just tall enough that it feels like it looms over the rest of the forest and is not too tall enough that it feels like it is falling over. Awesome Castle, and its good to see some Nocturnian style!

That's a great idea I wait to see what you build!

[AoM: Stables - Phase II] Don't Look Back
Eoin Wallace replied to Louis of Nutwood's topic in Guilds of Historica
The story is great and you have nailed the snow on your build, the only thing I might change, other than what @Kai NRG said is the walls in the first floor. I can see what you were going for but you have simply used too many colours and it can become hard to see what trying to depict. Again, very nice job on that story,I can't wait for the next part! -
I like the bench and floor, the story is also well written.
-
The photography is excellent here! I also like the minifigure and the story is hilarious!

Thanks! And i'll remember to change the snow next time. Thank you! Thanks! This has been one of my hardest mocs to photograph, and i'm still not entirely happy with it, so i'll definitely remember that next time.
