SB00301 B-PROJECT (MOC Resistance Bomber UCS)
Frizzlefry25 replied to StarBricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
True enough, but with how those instructions come out, it is in a ton of work. They truly are amazing works of art by themselves. And I imagine building the MOC's are more enjoyable. :) -

So now that we have an idea as to one of the UCS sets (probably for 2021), when will be finally find out the ones for this year! Or at least for May the 4th! I feel like reliable leaks or an official annoucement is overdue! -

The SB is for Star Bricks, then he add in U, TS, and B project which then relates to the item. I am at a loss as well, his previous three projects leveraged an existing set as a starting point, and in comparing the clues to currently lego offerings, I don't see anything matching! Cant wait regardless! getting close..... -

You know I shouldn't be surprised because I have built both his U-Wing and Tie Silencer, and even though this is not my favorite ship, his pictures are amazing. But after seeing that video, Holy Crap! It looks so much bigger and better than I imagined. I may have to go 3-3! -
This^^^ To me UCS means a great display model, especially now that they have MBS to cover the playset type. Which would have been (Hoth, Death Star, Sandcrawler) although the Sandcrawler kinda fits both! As long as the UCS is a great display piece I don't care if it is to mini figure scale or not. Just make a great model! Now if they want to make a MBS Gunship, feel free to include a clone army!

I agree^^^ I don't get the desire for tons of minifigures for these sets? The poll is for a UCS set. Outside of the falcon, which is a rarity (size, price, interior, and general awesomeness) UCS means 1-3 figures. Or at least with the most recent sets, Slave I, Tie fighter, Snowspeeder, Y-Wing, and Star Destroyer. Sets with tons of minifigures have been the MBS, or sets that really were playsets before they started using the MBS term. Whichever of these comes to fruition, if it is indeed a UCS we are probably looking at 1-3 figures tops, even with the Nebulon. Now if they go the non- UCS route then I could see more, but I buy my UCS sets for display, and I don't expect tons of figures. Seems like lego will be in a lose lose no matter what happens. My biggest concern is I have a Nebulon MOC already, so if they go that route, it better be good and keep it in the $250-$400 range, I need a break after the falcon and SD! -

I went Gunship, but that's only because I already built Dranac's MOC Nebulon B, and I can't afford to double dip. I would rather see an updated Vader's Tie, then the bomber, just never really felt much love for that ship! But I would take any UCS set, as long as I don't have it! -

I like the sound of that! :) As usual -
That is Starbricks Tie Silencer MOC, which I believe was shown on brickvault. Not my design, nowhere near that talented! :)

He always releases a new MOC in February for his Birthday, and he seems to do vehicles that are newer or don't have alot of MOCs out there. He did the U wing from Rogue One, Silencer from Awakens, and The Bomber from Last Jedi. My bet is something from Rise. All I know is they are always amazing! -
I thought I had something similar, turns out in my haste I used the wrong size on the back of the engines, it turned out it was my error. (which I didn't realize until I had already called lego and they shipped me the replacement!) Any luck you did the same thing? I think that is the same section, the strip that goes across the back for mounting the engines? If its not, borrow from the some other bags, and call lego, they will send you replacement parts if it is missing. (which I know the waiting sucks) or steal from another set while you wait.

[PRESS RELEASE] 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer
Frizzlefry25 replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Have to say, I was a little disappointed when this was revealed. (but only because the MOC's here are so amazing) The reviews looked like it wasn't that stable, and I never saw it in person. Even with a hefty price tag, (definitely cheaper than the MOC's), I decided to get it, and I have to eat my early thoughts. It really is quite amazing in person, once built. I added in some tiles throughout, but didn't really modify anything, and now my shelves are full! Definitely a beast! -

Your ahead of me, I'm about ready to start #9! I have been adding some greebling and tiles in areas while building. (not too much), the cost to cover and modify would be so much, which is why I went with this, versus the amazing MOC's out there the begin with. That being said, I also look forward to some minor and minimal cost MODS's! -
[PRESS RELEASE] 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer
Frizzlefry25 replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It is not the star destroyer I wanted (drools at Monarch and Aggressor), but it is the one I can barely afford, thanks to using VIP points, receiving double VIP points, and getting some rebates. Still can "add to bag" in the U.S., may hit backorder but seems to either have less demand, or they were somehow better prepared. I ordered mine about 8 hours ago, and got a shipping email 6 hours later! Impressive, most impressive. :) Now to make some shelf space...... -

After no luck late night and early morning, woke up at 6:30am PST and it was finally there. Actually ordered with no issues. Confirmation email took about 20 minutes, but it came! -

Same here! The only links that don't work are for the star destroyer, whether I try from a wish list, the VIP link, or from any other location. Anything else can be added to the cart, hopefully that means its in the process of showing up!? -

If its anything like the falcon, I didnt see it available on the west coast until 3:00-7:00am PST, while normal other sets usually appear at 9:00pm pst the day before. It's a crap shoot! Could be anytime within the next 1-9 hours!
