  1. Oh no I don't legitimately think there'd be an issue with putting him in a normal set, I was just making a joke about some of the bad stuff he's done in comics. Plenty of superheroes have at some point done pretty awful and not kid friendly things. (Arguably there shouldn't be an issue for her either, but we can't get into that.) Yeah similar list here. Absolutely not. He may have the name but he's not part of the corps, doesn't get his power from the same thing, etc. I agree with you in general but to be fair Arrow had TV-MA episodes and I doubt lego would produce actual sets (not SDCC figs) for it.
  2. The theme is so dead I would legitimately get excited for a new Riddler. That was a fake leak, Deadpool's in the Venomized Daily Bugle.
  3. Later Zahn books have shined some more light on that- it sort of seems as if he kept a bit of a looser grip in terms of active control, as her more noble morality probably helped snoop out imperial traitors, and his main method of controlling her was moreso subtly restricting her information and constantly keeping her hunting corrupt imperials. It's not stated in direct terms as the concept didn't exist yet, but what the Thrawn Trilogy seems to imply fits shockingly well with the idea that he tried to essence transfer into her at his moment of death, with a fragment of his final thoughts stuck in her head. I think Filoni's done an excellent job with Thrawn and can't think of any characters he's failed- Boba certainly's not been great in Tbobf but if I remember correctly Filoni wasn't as involved in that, whereas he was involved with Mando, where boba's a lot stronger. I thought Thrawn was handled quite well- putting aside the canon trilogy of books, since Filoni didn't write them, Rebels and Ahsoka are both pretty solid. He's shown as very smart and competent in both- he destroys the rebel base, prevents a major rebel assault on Lothal TWICE, and only loses in the end when he's drawn away to deal with politics and upon his return is taken out by space whales, which are a total wild card from his perspective (even if the show plants the seeds for it well from Ezra's). In Ahsoka, he suceeds on a monumental level: He escapes exile with witches capable of building him an army, his flagship, and a fanatically loyal legion, with the bonus of stranding the second biggest threat to a resurgent empire out in The Beyond. Never thought about the V-wing's similarities to a TIE fighter, that's cool.
  4. I wish i had your optimism. My stretch goal is that Robin shows up in this or the batcave.
  5. I mean IIRC they've since retconned it that he actually rejected advances from the other character which... I mean it's still a gross situation but that's more on the writers being creepy, the character himself is generally in most continuities no longer that. Just like Hal Jordan.
  6. I think we're likely getting both. IIRC the Ewok had been explicitly reported on, and we've had plenty of hints towards an endor D2C. (Though I don't believe any specify it as an ewok village, it could easily be the bunker or a combination of the two)
  7. I don't have it in me to make the aslume joke, but aside from the fact that his name is Death *pause* stroke and he has his own Aslume name, we all know what he did. At least Man dates adult women, criminal or not. Because I don't know what that is. What's funny is this applies to both main flashes. The fact that they did a justice league china and one of the main heroes who's name doesn't general refer to a specific person wasn't one of them is crazy.
  8. She was never his full on apprentice, she was his Emperor's Hand, a sort of special agent. I don't see any reason why it can't be the same thing here. He never attempts to fully turn her to the dark side/make her a sith. I agree Luke is the bigger issue, but I have to assume we're getting a recast (potentially one that's then digitally touched up a bit) Luke at some point. And I don't think, say, a Thrawn Trilogy adaption where the Big Three retain some portion of their roles from the books could reasonably be seen as rehashing/remaking the OT anymore than the clone wars is a remake of the prequels. suspiciously good PPP ratio. This must include a lot of dark tan 1x1s to represent the asteroid field.
  9. Far side is great, I like how he's created concepts like that and Cow Tools. Did not know about the Horrendous Space Kablooie, that's awesome. As someone who's heard both blasting in grocery stores, lobbies, etc, it's definitely not a random scenario. As for the second part, that's where I draw my issue. You have to consciously be aware of the chosen interpretation beforehand to get a negative meaning from cold outside, whereas the other one is pretty dang explicit. Like plenty of pop and rock songs imply inappropriate activity, but they used to be a lot more of an implication, something that would pass over kids, rather than someone actively overtly singing about their genetelia. The Jonkler has infiltrated Blacktron. His sinister Jonk is convincing the Blacktron ranks to believe they may gain a new member (Or half a member? He's half black/navy blue, half orange. I'll give him to you as he fits the blacktron vibe), when in fact the Batcave will include Batman, Alfred (all re-used parts), and 3x copies of the BTAS Jonkler. Are they worth reading? I've heard a lot about them, but legends can be pretty hit or miss for me. I love stuff like the Thrawn Trilogy (The best content in that continuity IMO) or Plagiues, but a lot of other stuff like the Vong war just didn't hit right.
  10. Agreed, both would be the best outcome. That graffiti in the bathroom at galaxy's edge spoke the truth. She lives. (I'm inhaling vast quantities of copium, but to be fair, Lucasfilm just said "our first live action film since the saga ended, and the only one we've been able to get out of development hell, will now feature the iconic Clone Wars 2008 movie character "stinky"", so really anything can happen.) They've got like two decades to play with. Not to mention I don't think the concept of the Emperor's Hand can't exist- Palpatine essentially cedes control of the inquisitors to Vader, so it makes sense he'd want an ace up his sleeve.
  11. It's not real at all, unfortunately. It has been deconfirmed.
  12. I bet he would eat Little Ceaser's crazy bread like normal bread. Just a peek into his dark, twisted mind. I mean but again you have to decide that that's what it means. All I know is between the two, the latter seems acceptable to play in public areas where children could be present, and the former certainly does not. Apparently hot take that actively murdering someone is a bad thing, but we aren't supposed to do current events past the dinosaurs, so to explain my thoughts on the situation more directly: The Thagomizer is an actual scientific term. That is the actual, technical name of the part of the dinosaur. Now you might think I would be suggesting this name sounds too juvenile for a scientific name, but it's actually the opposite. I believe all dinosaurs need this. Henceforth I submit we should call pterosaur's beaks "needlestroyers" and T-rex's jaws "ultracrushers" or something.
  13. I thought it was "10-12" (Which if Yavin and the ISD are anything to go off of is leaker speak for "like 8"), not over 12. And counterpoint- the shadow box had a fair number of figures too. Difficult economic times in the country of "Mountain", it seems.
  14. I think it's a little clone heavier than it may actually end up being- I'm going to guess we wouldn't get the AT-AP type set- but I think you're right on the money with the attack shuttle. I think we see either that or a large republic ground vehicle. I rewatched Ahsoka and it cemented it's place as my favorite star wars show, and while Andor is a better show, I think Ahsoka is a better Star Wars show if that makes sense. Here's a wave: The Ghost Microfighter ($9.99): Hera Syndulla Jedi Shuttle Microfighter ($9.99): Ahsoka Tano (grey, no cloak) Ahsoka Tano Mech ($14.99): White mech with staff representing Ahsoka's look in Rebels S4 finale. Comes with an exclusive cloaked Ahsoka. New Republic Battle Pack ($19.99): 3x new republic trooper, 1x new republic officer. Comes with a representation of the docking bay with some crates and a terminal. The crates contain thermal detonators and a rocket launcher with a stud shooter. Night Trooper battle pack ($19.99): 4x Night Trooper. Comes with a piece of "cargo" and a bit of ruins, as well as a probe with a stud shooter. Bandit Encounter ($9.99): Howler and rock builds. Comes with Sabine Wren (armor, no helmet) and a Bandit Leader. Fiend Fighter ($29.99): Elsbeth Grunt, HK-47, Baylan Skoll. Sabine's home ($39.99): Sabine's speeder, a small ground area with a turbolift, and an upper level with Sabine's room. Comes with Sabine Wren (No armor), Shin Hati, and 2x HK droid, as well as a Loth-Cat. The Phantom ll ($49.99): Comes with Hera Syndulla, C1-1OP, Jacen Syndulla, and Carson Teva. Imperial Patrol Gunship ($79.99): Gunship with 3x Night Trooper, Shin Hati, Sabine Wren (Armor, no helmet), and Ezra Bridger. Peridia Fortress Assault ($119.99): Fortress tower. Comes with lower level with sliding doors, stairwell up through a middle level with a prison cell and Thrawn's office, to an upper level with the altar. Comes with Ahsoka The White, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren (armor, helmet and hair), Morgan Elsbeth, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Captain Enoch, 2x Night Trooper, and 2x Night Death Trooper, as well as two buildable Howlers. Ahsoka's Jedi Shuttle ($159.99): Much larger than 2023 model, uses white instead of LBG. Comes with Ahsoka The White, Huyang, Sabine Wren (Training), Ezra Bridger, Shin Hati, Baylan Skoll, Sabine Wren's Armor, and Ahsoka Tano's spacesuit. Diorama: Shadow Warrior ($59.99): Comes with Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano (grey). Quote is "I choose to live." Diorama: Seatos Duel ($79.99): Comes with Baylan Skoll, Ahsoka Tano (grey), Sabine Wren (Armor, no helmet) and Shin Hati. Quote is "It didn't have to come to this. But you know no other way".
  15. Spoken like someone who wants us to ignore their PURPLE SUIT And let us not forget Turtle's warnings about Purple-13. She probably is at least aware that her employer is committing genocide, if not complicit herself, but I mean you yourself have probably committed mass murder in your jonks so... But you know who is purple... WALUIGI. I have exclusive information that he prevented lego from making mario minifigures as payback for not being playable in Smash.
  16. Correct. See @THELEGOBATMAN-er, THELEGOJONKLER's comment for more examples
  17. Unfortunately the leaks are for the rest of the year. Goat's explicitly saying no superman stuff is left. I wish I had enough optimism to hope for a new hairpiece on a character we haven't had since the TLBM days instead of my current hope- Robin appears in the set- seeming far fetched. I really think you're overestimating how closely DC suits are looking at the tie-in products. I guarantee you the thought process was "tell lego to make a superman set"
  18. One of the two purple guys I know made half my family disappear and the other one was behind a slaughter, so I am absolutely against the purples. I feel like the typical Joker/Harley dynamic would be inverted in this situation, except instead of laughing compulsively and being obsessed with a specific Man, she'd be very serious and obsessed with the rebellion as a whole. To be fair, you still appear to believe in earth. Haven't you yet figured out we're on At Attin? (I have seen like 5 seconds of the show so far, if that's a real theory I was unaware)
  19. I do hope it's the bunker and not just the village. I've thought for awhile that a cool idea could be a central bunker with a few large trees off to either side with sections of the village. Think the stranger things set, just without the upside down part, and then triple the size.
  20. THAT is a good point. While it was only for a moment, I saw the 2024 SW calendar for $20 online- out of stock, of course... :(-. Calendars going on sale after Christmas is nothing new, but I don't think I've ever seen the star wars one at $20, much less BEFORE DECEMBER.
  21. I dunno. It's what I THOUGHT I wanted in a batmobile- more like a real car than something that doesn't seem like it can turn, or is basically just a tank- but it comes off... I dunno. It works for the unvierse, but it's not something I'd want him driving in the comics. Snyder's Batmobile may actually be the one I think works best for a mainline batman, despite the driver being an elseworlds/fallen Batman. Minecraft calendar would be fun. Since a lot of the mobs don't use specialized parts (or the only specialized part is their head), it could get away with the majority of the days being characters. Honestly, if you gave me a calender with Steve, Alex, the main mobs, and like Furnace/crafting table/bed, it could be my first lego minecraft purchase. I thought they don't do that anymore. I maintain that the mech IS our superman tie in. If the movie wasn't coming out, that would be a jonkler mech. A jech, if you will.
  22. To be fair, it is a may UCS. Two figs is the standard. Especially after the Harry Potter ghosts have been done so frequently in non-transparent parts. (For the record, I do think they should have transparent arms/legs/heads/hair, just with the mandatory-for-material-strength opaque torso/hands/hips, but regardless of what I think lego's proven they are more than willing to produce opaque ghost figures) *Insert Yub Nub/Endor Celebration, whichever you prefer* Overjoyed, I've been wanting this for ages.
  23. STOP PREDICTING THINGS YOU ARE CAUSING THEM TO BECOME A REALITY (Please predict Mara Jade battle pack) The difference is that despite it's quality issues, marvel regularly gets large amounts of sets based on a variety of heroes, with a number of new outfits and characters every wave. I think our last new DC characters came in the CMF in 2021. There is a nonzero chance lego decides that that part of the franchise is too adult what with Penguin and stuff. (which isn't super logical- I'd say The Batman was about the same maturity level as Dune or TDK, but at this point we have to prepare for the worst) Wish granted, it comes with Robin Blake.
  24. Assumably, they would gain sales from game fans who want the game versions of the characters, without much risk of losing sales from people unfamiliar as they're still recognizably those heroes. You forget they already did this with the avengers game for multiple waves, so it is something they've done before. I mean, it is new versions of characters. I am missing a cord for my xbox but as soon as I find it I will be playing moon knight.
  25. The Man who Laughs? I don't like that guy. Too overused and edgy. "I have nothing BUT contempt for this court!" Turtle was right all along. I believe they used this in a joker trailer.
