DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Mandalorianknight replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
It's not real at all, unfortunately. It has been deconfirmed. -
I bet he would eat Little Ceaser's crazy bread like normal bread. Just a peek into his dark, twisted mind. I mean but again you have to decide that that's what it means. All I know is between the two, the latter seems acceptable to play in public areas where children could be present, and the former certainly does not. Apparently hot take that actively murdering someone is a bad thing, but we aren't supposed to do current events past the dinosaurs, so to explain my thoughts on the situation more directly: The Thagomizer is an actual scientific term. That is the actual, technical name of the part of the dinosaur. Now you might think I would be suggesting this name sounds too juvenile for a scientific name, but it's actually the opposite. I believe all dinosaurs need this. Henceforth I submit we should call pterosaur's beaks "needlestroyers" and T-rex's jaws "ultracrushers" or something.

I thought it was "10-12" (Which if Yavin and the ISD are anything to go off of is leaker speak for "like 8"), not over 12. And counterpoint- the shadow box had a fair number of figures too. Difficult economic times in the country of "Mountain", it seems. -
Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

I think it's a little clone heavier than it may actually end up being- I'm going to guess we wouldn't get the AT-AP type set- but I think you're right on the money with the attack shuttle. I think we see either that or a large republic ground vehicle. I rewatched Ahsoka and it cemented it's place as my favorite star wars show, and while Andor is a better show, I think Ahsoka is a better Star Wars show if that makes sense. Here's a wave: The Ghost Microfighter ($9.99): Hera Syndulla Jedi Shuttle Microfighter ($9.99): Ahsoka Tano (grey, no cloak) Ahsoka Tano Mech ($14.99): White mech with staff representing Ahsoka's look in Rebels S4 finale. Comes with an exclusive cloaked Ahsoka. New Republic Battle Pack ($19.99): 3x new republic trooper, 1x new republic officer. Comes with a representation of the docking bay with some crates and a terminal. The crates contain thermal detonators and a rocket launcher with a stud shooter. Night Trooper battle pack ($19.99): 4x Night Trooper. Comes with a piece of "cargo" and a bit of ruins, as well as a probe with a stud shooter. Bandit Encounter ($9.99): Howler and rock builds. Comes with Sabine Wren (armor, no helmet) and a Bandit Leader. Fiend Fighter ($29.99): Elsbeth Grunt, HK-47, Baylan Skoll. Sabine's home ($39.99): Sabine's speeder, a small ground area with a turbolift, and an upper level with Sabine's room. Comes with Sabine Wren (No armor), Shin Hati, and 2x HK droid, as well as a Loth-Cat. The Phantom ll ($49.99): Comes with Hera Syndulla, C1-1OP, Jacen Syndulla, and Carson Teva. Imperial Patrol Gunship ($79.99): Gunship with 3x Night Trooper, Shin Hati, Sabine Wren (Armor, no helmet), and Ezra Bridger. Peridia Fortress Assault ($119.99): Fortress tower. Comes with lower level with sliding doors, stairwell up through a middle level with a prison cell and Thrawn's office, to an upper level with the altar. Comes with Ahsoka The White, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren (armor, helmet and hair), Morgan Elsbeth, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Captain Enoch, 2x Night Trooper, and 2x Night Death Trooper, as well as two buildable Howlers. Ahsoka's Jedi Shuttle ($159.99): Much larger than 2023 model, uses white instead of LBG. Comes with Ahsoka The White, Huyang, Sabine Wren (Training), Ezra Bridger, Shin Hati, Baylan Skoll, Sabine Wren's Armor, and Ahsoka Tano's spacesuit. Diorama: Shadow Warrior ($59.99): Comes with Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano (grey). Quote is "I choose to live." Diorama: Seatos Duel ($79.99): Comes with Baylan Skoll, Ahsoka Tano (grey), Sabine Wren (Armor, no helmet) and Shin Hati. Quote is "It didn't have to come to this. But you know no other way". -
Spoken like someone who wants us to ignore their PURPLE SUIT And let us not forget Turtle's warnings about Purple-13. She probably is at least aware that her employer is committing genocide, if not complicit herself, but I mean you yourself have probably committed mass murder in your jonks so... But you know who is purple... WALUIGI. I have exclusive information that he prevented lego from making mario minifigures as payback for not being playable in Smash.

Unfortunately the leaks are for the rest of the year. Goat's explicitly saying no superman stuff is left. I wish I had enough optimism to hope for a new hairpiece on a character we haven't had since the TLBM days instead of my current hope- Robin appears in the set- seeming far fetched. I really think you're overestimating how closely DC suits are looking at the tie-in products. I guarantee you the thought process was "tell lego to make a superman set" -
One of the two purple guys I know made half my family disappear and the other one was behind a slaughter, so I am absolutely against the purples. I feel like the typical Joker/Harley dynamic would be inverted in this situation, except instead of laughing compulsively and being obsessed with a specific Man, she'd be very serious and obsessed with the rebellion as a whole. To be fair, you still appear to believe in earth. Haven't you yet figured out we're on At Attin? (I have seen like 5 seconds of the show so far, if that's a real theory I was unaware)

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

I do hope it's the bunker and not just the village. I've thought for awhile that a cool idea could be a central bunker with a few large trees off to either side with sections of the village. Think the stranger things set, just without the upside down part, and then triple the size. -

THAT is a good point. While it was only for a moment, I saw the 2024 SW calendar for $20 online- out of stock, of course... :(-. Calendars going on sale after Christmas is nothing new, but I don't think I've ever seen the star wars one at $20, much less BEFORE DECEMBER. -

I dunno. It's what I THOUGHT I wanted in a batmobile- more like a real car than something that doesn't seem like it can turn, or is basically just a tank- but it comes off... I dunno. It works for the unvierse, but it's not something I'd want him driving in the comics. Snyder's Batmobile may actually be the one I think works best for a mainline batman, despite the driver being an elseworlds/fallen Batman. Minecraft calendar would be fun. Since a lot of the mobs don't use specialized parts (or the only specialized part is their head), it could get away with the majority of the days being characters. Honestly, if you gave me a calender with Steve, Alex, the main mobs, and like Furnace/crafting table/bed, it could be my first lego minecraft purchase. I thought they don't do that anymore. I maintain that the mech IS our superman tie in. If the movie wasn't coming out, that would be a jonkler mech. A jech, if you will. -

To be fair, it is a may UCS. Two figs is the standard. Especially after the Harry Potter ghosts have been done so frequently in non-transparent parts. (For the record, I do think they should have transparent arms/legs/heads/hair, just with the mandatory-for-material-strength opaque torso/hands/hips, but regardless of what I think lego's proven they are more than willing to produce opaque ghost figures) *Insert Yub Nub/Endor Celebration, whichever you prefer* Overjoyed, I've been wanting this for ages. -

STOP PREDICTING THINGS YOU ARE CAUSING THEM TO BECOME A REALITY (Please predict Mara Jade battle pack) The difference is that despite it's quality issues, marvel regularly gets large amounts of sets based on a variety of heroes, with a number of new outfits and characters every wave. I think our last new DC characters came in the CMF in 2021. There is a nonzero chance lego decides that that part of the franchise is too adult what with Penguin and stuff. (which isn't super logical- I'd say The Batman was about the same maturity level as Dune or TDK, but at this point we have to prepare for the worst) Wish granted, it comes with Robin Blake. -

Assumably, they would gain sales from game fans who want the game versions of the characters, without much risk of losing sales from people unfamiliar as they're still recognizably those heroes. You forget they already did this with the avengers game for multiple waves, so it is something they've done before. I mean, it is new versions of characters. I am missing a cord for my xbox but as soon as I find it I will be playing moon knight. -
[Alt-Build Contest] 76962 Baby Bumpy: Ankylosaurus
Mandalorianknight replied to 6180HydroSearchSub's topic in LEGO Licensed
Looks awesome! A completely different type of thing that looks almost like it could be an actual set on it's own! I also think it's very cool you were able to do this digitally. I feel like digital alt builds are always really tricky for me- I like to use it for mocs where I have a full inventory access, but when parts are limited I find it very tricky. -
[Alt-Build Contest] - 31109 Pirate ship
Mandalorianknight replied to Max_Lego's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Looks very nice! One thing that might help you in originality is that while it's the same general concept, the pirate ship in the official set is very cartoony, while yours goes more for realism. -
[CONTEST] Eurobricks Alt-Build Contest 2025
Mandalorianknight replied to Clone OPatra's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Whoah, I almost missed this until I saw someone post in the licensed themes thread. Just for clarification, if I was, say, going to do a Star Wars alt build, and it was still something that looked like it belonged in Star Wars, would that score low in originality even if it was a completely different type of thing (say I turned a starfighter into a tank or building)? Are we encouraged to make it look like it's from a different theme? Also, and this is a total hail mary but I figured I'd just ask since I had an idea, are we able to combine multiple sets if we count the price of each individual set? I think it could lead to some cool cross-theme stuff with the minfigures especially. -

You said it twice though I doubt it, unless it does REALLY well, unfortunately. I could see some game designs showing up in otherwise non game-based sets, though. As a side note, have you played it, is it fun, and is Daredevil playable? EDIT: THEY HAVE MOON KNIGHT. I WILL BE PLAYING AS SOON AS I REMEMBER WHERE I PUT MY XBOX It's not an MMO, it's a hero shooter like Overwatch. Doesn't necessarily change a ton, but I don't think it'd be impossible for a few game designs to slot into sets. They did give us multiple waves of 2020 avengers game designs after all, and unlike that game, this one features Spidey and Venom from launch, and more importantly, doesn't seem to be actively terrible. I'm glad somebody is getting enjoyment out of those. (Not trying to be snarky- I legitimately am happy that somebody likes them) -

I looked at the skies Running my hands over my eyes And I fell out of bed Hurting my head from things that I'd said 'Til I finally died Which started the whole world living Oh, if I'd only seen, oh yeah That the joke was on me, oh no That the joke was on me Oh, no, no, no I called this, but I don't want to say "I told you so". Buy the mech, guys. It is our last and only hope, and even then it may not be enough, but for all we know it'll be the final set in the wider DC universe. Turtle even came around in the end and it wasn't enough to save us. I think the mech WAS lego's idea of a supported assortment of toys, which is if anything even more damning. The start of the DCU (I mean, not really, because of how weirdly they're handling this, but I've beat that horse to death already), assumably some pressure from DC/WB to put SOMETHING out, and they give us... a mech. If the two remaining summer sets end up being as badly handled as the rest of the theme, I say that a week or two after they release, Cloneopatra should restart the Aslume. C'mon and slam, and welcome to the jam I mean to be fair I imagine the movie is why we have the mech, but the same general concept applies. I understand it on some level- they've been burned before, and I fully get wanting to make sure this movie doesn't also end up failing- but we should have at least gotten a few comic-based sets. Just like a larger Luthor mech, a javelin or something, anything. Even if it's just putting some Superman characters into bat-vehicle sets. -
I started a jonkThat started the whole world cryingBut i didn't see...That the jonk was on meI started to cryThat started the whole world laughingIf i'd only seenThat the jonk was on me I respect your commitment to the bit, though it's going to be weird seeing Joker simp for Dedra. This is a very specific set of laughs, are these the ones where it's implied Batman snaps joker's neck at the end of killing joke? Dear lord, this may be the first time this joke's been made here somehow. How could we have missed Evil Jonkler Cart? (Also, why does it not involve a jonkled version of Mario Kart?)

DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Mandalorianknight replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
To be fair, you can't tell me it's not going to be terrible. They are in a position to make a TON of villains for a relatively tiny amount of prints since they can all be in prison jumpsuits, but know the set's still going to have like 10 figures total: Batman, Mr Freeze (both reused from BTAS sets), Joker (BTAS head with prison jumpsuit), Catwoman (BTAS Head with prison suit), Two-Face (TDK head with prison jumpsuit), Harleen Quinzel (new torso with re-used head and no leg print), Aaron cash (all re-used parts), Hugo Strange (new head and otherwise all re-used parts), and then if we're lucky two villains we haven't had in awhile like Scarecrow/Riddler/Talon, or even like Robin and a new villain or something, but more likely two generic guards made of re-used parts. I think that was an intentional joke, otherwise he would have said Guy since he's a GL, right? -

Lego needs to make a full on power rangers style collection of different symbiote groots. I'm talking Carnage Groot, Toxin Groot (both normal colors and blue snake thing from Last Dance), Christmas Groot, Venom (comic accurate blue) groot, etc. Hulked-out Venombuster. See I'd say it's the same thing, but the only Marvel sets I've bought since endgame were the NWH final battle ones, the Bugle, and some Iron Man Mechs, so maybe I just like SEEING the legacy sets. Oh, and the venomized spider ham set from VIP points awhile back. You know, if we have to keep having mechs and cars and stuff, here are a few I wouldn't mind: Wolvmobile ($29.99): Wolverine car with Wolverine, Sabertooth, and hypothetically Deadpool but since we can't have him, Cyclops. X-Jet: Versus Sauron ($49.99): Buildable Sauron and a small, one-seater X-jet with Gambit, Storm, and Rogue. "Venom Mech" ($69.99): Just a giant venom. Comes with some venomized heroes (let's say Cap and Wolverine), Venom, and Anti-Venom suit Spider-Man. And I'm talking fully venomized heroes, not this partially-venomizing stuff. Cap and Wolvie can have alt faces with partial venomization or something but the torsos and helmets should be fully venomized and the legs should be black. Spider-Mech ($129.99): Titan Mech sized Leopardan with Suipadaman, Miles Morales, Spider-Man (symbiote suit), Julia Carpenter Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew Spider-Woman, Kaine, Scarlet Spider, and Morlun. Hydrabuster ($39.99): Captain America colored Hulkbuster with Red Skull, a Hydra Soldier, Iron Patriot, and the Civil Warrior. Miles Morales accidentally saves himself and his family from being erased from existence by giving a guy a three week old hamburger diorama ($59.99): Miles Morales, Peter Parker, Owen Reese, and about 5-600 white bricks and tiles, as well as a base with the marvel logo and a 2x6 tile with the quote: "How could you forget you have a hamburger?" "We've been busy." "It's a hamburger" -
That's Santa, and we can assume Renny is not him as people don't get dummies in their stockings for Christmas. I wonder how Velociraptor Earth theory works with this statement. The earth, of course, is velociraptor shaped, but if dinosaurs aren't real, how is the earth shaped like one? It's a paradox. Generally I think people drum up a lot of outrage over an old song by changing the interpretation of it, but that line's pretty bad. Even for the time period it seems like it'd have been a crazy thing to put in a song (I mean, I guess a lot of our modern songs have genuinely absurd statements in them but still), so I wonder if it had a different connotation in the time period, like that Batman comic where joker is very interested in making blunders, only he didn't say blunders.

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Mandalorianknight replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yeah- they seem like easy, cheap sets to put out. I mean look I just said what I did about clones, but they still are a draw for many people, so throw a new commander in or whatever. Or pair them with V-wings, Jedi Starfighters, etc for a starfighter two pack lego likes so much. EXACTLY. Sure, more new prints are nice, but heads for characters literally meant to be the same guy feels like the most nitpicky nitpick of all time. I'd argue lego's actually been absurdly good about unique clone heads, with every clone we see unhelmeted in TCW coming with one (Rex, Fives, Cody- who doesn't even really have many distinguishing features from a normal clone). I'd much rather any quality improvement go towards... pretty much anything else. More figures/more printing on figures, increasing the quality of light-colored printing on dark-colored parts, not having one out of every 4-5 sets I've bought in the past few years be missing parts, etc.
