  1. That looks like it would work pretty well. Thanks! mandalorianknight329@gmail.com is one of my email accounts, it should work, I don't know why it's doing that.
  2. I mean, at least it's not just plopping a hat on like bb-8 and I'm not happy that those count as minis, last year we got a battle-droid, Ig-88, and 5 minis, and of course the droids arent minifigures either but at least they're humanoid. These are literally just normal parts, one of which has a santa hat. And is no one talking about the cloud car driver brutally assaulting present gonk with a snowball? #Stop gonk droid abuse
  3. Luke needs to be in both sets, as it's his speeder and the only possible action feature for the kenobi homestead I can think of is him igniting his lightsaber, as that's literally all that happened there. (unless the set is based on the Luke/Boba fight in the canon comics, which is highly unlikely but would be really cool.) With that, one set would have to be luke's speeder, 2 years after we last got it, containing luke, either 3-po or r2-d2, and a tusken raider. This leaves the second set to be luke, kenobi, the other droid, and maybe a tusken raider as well. I can't see this happening, which along with the aforementioned fact that we got the speeder just 2 years ago leads me to believe it's a different speeder, possibly based on something in the mandalorian, fallen order, or TROS. Yeah, we actually had some leaked images and he's not in it, and we had known them for a while anyway. I only count 5 minifigures, unless we're calling santa porg and the present GNK minifigures. Also with santa porg, he appears to have different coloration and isn't just bb-8 in a santa hat or entirely nonexistant like last year. Slow improvements, maybe we'll eventually get a santa figure again.
  4. I don't have an instagram, but you could use my gmail at mandalorainknight329@gmail.com if you wanted to send me it. The way that my HOA is turning out, I will have one spot left when i finish buying all the official suits, WM suits, and my purist customs. Does anyone have a good purist custom of an iron man suit, like mk 2 or mostly anything from mk 8-35?
  5. I agree, I think D-O's game design might be the basic design of his TROS figure. If it does, maybe that bantha and artoo's third leg will appear in the january 2020 sets. I like that bantha mold. Although I don't think the landspeeder is luke's, we had one about 2 years ago and the kenobi homestead means that there would be 2 sets with roughly the same minifigures at roughly the same price in the same wave. Wishlisting is on the "future star wars sets" thread, but I expect that applies to people wanting to see star wars vehicles and locations turned into official sets, not classic space elements in said sets. You've expressed your hopes of getting the falcon canopy in trans-yellow, and I sincerely hope that piece comes in some set someday, but you might need to move on.
  6. Artoo has had his 3rd leg in all the lego games, so I'm not sure how much him still having it changes wether or not he gets his third leg. I could see lego inclusing those pieces in a set with him as an extra option, but I don't think it's a confirmation by any means. Ah. Well, i guess it'll be fun to get obi-wan, luke, c-3po and artoo in a small set....again... if this list turns out to be true.
  7. I completely agree about rebel friend, but I don't see a massive chance of a fallen order set for force friday, though it is a possibility I guess. There was a "leaked" list a while ago debunked by basically everyone that included some mandalorian sets that were based on all we knew about the mandalorian at that point. It's 100% fake. I don't have your insider knowledge, but this seems like it makes sense to me. January 2020 isn't more than a month or 2 past the game's release date, so it's not as strange as battlefront 2, which had over a year.
  8. Can we PLEASE get back to actual star wars 2019 discussion and not "gee I hope lego messes up a decades old ship, arguably the most recognizable spaceship of all time ever, so i can have my new canopy". It's not going to happen, OK? Your only other example is due to a concept art mistake when lucasfilm themselves didn't know exactly how that ship was going to shape up. As I said before, lego is forced to work very closely with lucasfilm. In designer interviews they have specifically mentioned how particular lucasfilm is with the exterior design of the ship, I.E. a cockpit canopy. The millenium falcon has been canonically shown to have a black/trans black cockpit canopy since 1978. So even IF there were lego designers attempting to sabotage their sets so you could have your canopy in trans-yellow, lucasfilm wouldn't allow it. Based on the fallen order gameplay (Which I love by the way) I don't think it's unreasonable to assume we'll get some set or battle pack eventually. Neither the flame nor purge troopers require new molds, and I could see a battlepack with trooper variants and another set with Kal and second sister. That said, the likelyhood of them coming out for force friday continues to lower as we now know all but one of the sets are episode IX. Or a buildable yoda. I'm not sure we'll get that exactly, as it doesn't appear to be able to fit onto a stud or connect with other legos, but I could se D-0 being a similar mold and they just removed the bottom antistud in-game to make him look more like he's rolling. yeah, they should have put the raddus in the TLJ wave. So many of these capital ships would work in lego at a $100-160 price range, but we never see any. Do you think it's recognizability? Most people couldn't tell you what an alliance capital ship looks like, a least not until TLJ where it technically wasn't even rebel alliance ship, but everyone knows star destroyers.
  9. I think you'd be just about the only person who'd rather have a falcon with a trans-yellow canopy, unless others are willing to see a lego set sell worse due to inaccuracy just because someone gave it the wrong canopy for no reason. Yes, but you are discussing your hopes that lego will purposely make their sets inaccurate to further your cause of classic space-type parts. As others have pointed out, the canopy was not because someone like you got hired by lego and tried to sacrifice accuracy to appease rabid classic space fans. Lego has to work very closely with lucasfilm, in books like the lego star wars visual dictionary they specifically mention just how particular lucasfilm is with the accuracy of the EXTERIOR specifically. This was 100% on concept art changing once the movie came out. And as to this "sets can be discussed on an exploitable part-by-part bias" loophole, it's not one. Are you discussing the parts, or your feverent dreams that lego will make poor business choices to benefit you? You keep hinting at and talking about classic space, and if you want to hide that i'd stop emphasizing your subtle allusions and adding winky emojis, because that's not exactly subtle.
  10. not trying to say there will be, but what evidence do you have for this? This "italian store sets list" you found? Lego doesn't give all their retailers a list of all sets for the entire year, otherwise we'd know at least how many sets for a theme are coming a LOT sooner than we do. I'm not saying that just because there isn't any evidence that there won't means that it will, but that's not evidence to me.
  11. I agree, the liberty class is totally doable, especially with all the new slopes the've released in recent years. I might actually try my hand at one over the summer. I've seen some great nebulon mocs and think it's also possible, something in the vein of the resistance bomber would work and could certainly sell well. Even one of those Gr-75 transports could work, something like brickvault's moc except sized up a bit. I'm actually pretty excited. They've gotta make a heck of a minifigure for the deluxe edition, maybe even a pearl gold vader or dare I say rebel friend, and I can't wait to relive my childhood of LSW:TCS. It was, mot likely, concept art leading to the inaccuracy, similar to what we got with that weird crawling TLJ walker that only appeared in concept art. And listen, man, we all want classic space or some original space theme to come back. There are certainly lego designers who wouldn't mind it either. But I doubt they're purposely making sets inaccurate to give people classic space type parts, and you gotta tone down the classic space allusions you're making every other message. This is, after all, a star wars thread. Not trying to minimod, just trying to help.
  12. Yea, and we've never had the exterior of a real rebel capital ship, nothing bigger than a blockade runner, or whatever that rebel ship was. The falcon never had a trans-yellow coloured canopy, it always appears trans-black or just black from the exterior
  13. I meant sets later in the year, not meant to coincide with this art print, as i said previously.
  14. I only collect marvel and star wars (Original trilogy), neither of which had anything new around that time, and I didn't have any money to spend on random sets, no matter how good that rodhey was. The fact that this art print is not coming out alongside any sets annoys me more, as it removes one of my reasons for thinking we'd get another endgame wave. Does anyone have any evidence we'll see a second wave for endgame?
  15. Dang. I'm in the US and didn't have the $80 to spend on random lego marvel I already had when the promo hit in march.
  16. HOW? Is it for sale just as a pack somewhere?!?! I don't like the new print, nebula's sword looks like a metal shaving fell onto the poster, the changed hawkeye's hair to make him less accurate but didn't fix thor or remove the QR suits, and the whole style of these prints just looks unprofessional to me.
  17. Ah. An exclusive civilian head that doesn't look like ned to me still doesn't validate buying the pack in my eyes, but that helps. It's gonna be tough to find one with the head facing the transparent packaging and at the edge of the pack so you can see printing, but I wish you luck.
  18. Lego's printing gets worse and worse, they can't do flash on dark colours or get prints to line up, and now they can't even get a full print on the figure. If this is true, I'm not getting the pack. Churro head spidey is the one exclusive part and they couldn't even get that right.
  19. Saw a rumor on instagram that we are getting 2 sets for the black widow movie, a "small" and "medium" one. This was posted by "nicky_anela" and this is her only post, so it probably isn't true but I though I should add it to the discussion. If true I could see these coming out alongside a spiderman wave in 2020.
  20. We already have lego city space for exploration, and while I agree that it isn't nearly a space theme, and just a wave under a subtheme with half the sets set on the ground, I think if we were to have a space theme it would need conflict. The world's changed since 1978's classic space. Even then they had weapons on their ships, according to the designers, but they had to keep those subtle because the head of the department didn't want conflict in the sets. Now, we have star wars, and a space-based lego theme has to draw children's attention enough to compete with video games like fortnite and apex legends, games that revolve entirely around you killing everyone else. Maybe there could be a main objective of the sets' heroes besides conflict, but the ships will always be weaponized, and there will always be enemy factions. As I said, we've come a long way since 1978, the world's changed. NASA is sending people to the moon, to stay, by 2024. SpaceX claims to have humans on mars by 2030. And america has considered creating a space-based branch of it's armed forces, meaning that even in real life we'll eventually have spacecraft with weapons. That being said, I do agree that there could be a way to make a space theme that stands out enough from star wars and still captures the kids' attention, without being soley focused on war. A distinctive ship design and a resource harvesting/exploration type thing, with some sort of space pirates or something, could work, but I still think star wars won't be slowing down very much in the gap, even if they did make a new space theme. There's been at least a movie a year for 4 years, and there's so many sets we need for them, along with the multiple live-action shows, and a new video game. That said, we should probably stop talking about the possibility of a new space theme before the mods go after us for it not being star wars.
  21. Yeah, the red's more of an outline, not filled like in superior but it still works pretty well.
  22. I've heard it was "confirmed" that a KOTOR trilogy was in the works, with the writer of alita: battle angel having nearly finished the first draft of the first movie, so you might be right in it being less than 3 years if they've already got the first draft of the script. Then again, it was buzzfeed news, so who knows if it's true or not. I don't think they'll stop making/slow lego star wars, even for a few years, just to make an in-house theme. Disney wouldn't be happy, at any rate. We've had star wars and in house themes side by side for galaxy squad, alien conquest, mars mission, and even life on mars. And conflict sells better than exploration sets, ethics nonwithstanding.
  23. Saw gerrera, galen erso, endrio two-tubes etc. But i was thinking more about solo for the figures, as we need dryden, the literal main villain of the film, l-337, a major character, along with other less prominent characters. For rogue one it's more so sets we need, such as the cargo shuttle, hammerhead corvette, raddus's ship, the at-act, the tie reaper, etc. The only set I can think of that we're really missing for the prequels is what, the invisible hand? I'm sure there's more but none with as much screen time as the cargo shuttle or at-act. And as i said earlier, even in their first few years all the prequels got more sets than rogue one
  24. That's what messed me up, I got worldwide and big time mixed up, as he "hit the big time" so to speak in that arc. any normal spider-man head, the 2015 miles morales torso, black legs, black or red/black dual molded arms, and the iron spider robot arms but use red instead of gold. Torso is slightly different, but it's still pretty close.
  25. All of the figures are from sets that aren't meant to be for rogue one or appear in other movies though. The tantive IV was mainly in ANH, merrick was in an advant calender, and vader's castle featured an exclusive minifigure based on a VR game, so it might not be meant to be representing RO. We also have had 12 rogue one sets, including polybags, in the three years since it's release. Phantom menace had 20 in it's first three, AOTC had 13 in it's first 2 years, and ROTS had 20 in it's first 3. All three have those have also had 15-20 more years of sets, so i'd say rogue one needs more sets than the prequels
