LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Mandalorianknight replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I assume lego took these down, but they're great figures from what you've said nonetheless. The speeder chase seth is starting to look like a must-buy for me if it's got poe, finn, and the jumptroopers. -
I'm not sure that the codename being the name of a movie made by a guy who worked on a different movie with the guy who directed a different film series the set is roughly based on was their connection, that's reaallly tenous. I think it's just a random codename Hence why some people think it's a mosiac. it has to be something that can encompass multiple themes and be worthy of being a separate theme. I can't really think of anything besides brickheadz-type or mosiacs, maybe sculptures like they do for star wars.

If your talking about the star wars set codenamed "jaws", then I believe it ended up being the lego droid commander boost set, even if it wasn't that there's no way it's jaws actor figures though, where'd you hear that. And I don't know if falconfan1414 works for lego, but he does have legitimately good insider information. I'd take these images as a hint of what's to come, I think it's a good way for him to give us information without putting himself in any trouble with lego.

I like them alot too, though my personal favorites are RO rebels and basically any stormtrooper I actually like the torso alot more now that i know it doesn't have insignia, a gunmetal tunic part is great and would probably end up on my sigfig if not for those mandalorian torsos. TROS leaks have been amplifying in the past few days but most have disappeared, at least from #legoleaks. Do you guys think we'll see a slowdown as lego tries to hide them? -

Ah. I thought you meant a full figure, not just the head and torso. They are nice parts though, i like the head expressions and more gunmetal torsos are always good. -

I didn't see this guy on legoleaks, but it's always god to get more uniformed officers for the first order. He'll probably be in the "kylo's ship" set. -

it's a good print, but i think the reason people don't like it is because in 4 years we haven't had a new expression for rey. A new head that looks similar but with an angry expression or full smile would be nice and make both sides happy. -
Not for sure, but "avengers bike" and "avengers truck" sets probably contain endgame figures at the very least. Yeah, a moon knight is unlikely but hat would be a good custom with star wars there codenames sometimes provide hints ("unicorn" was the codename of the u-wing set), or are connected to the IP the theme is based on's codename (the rumored "huckleberry" battlepack shares a codename with some aspect of the upcoming mandalorian show). I'm not saying zebra means anything, but it could.

For the first, yes probably. I was just remembering all the merch and stuff about BB-3 and BB-4 where they're really just background characters. I just wanted to know if we knew this guy's name or anything else. As for the second, I'm not attempting to make him leave, just responding to his statement here: by saying that i personally will not miss his "contributions" -

Wow. Just wow. This is borderline threatening, and I find it hilarious that you've gotten this worked up that people are mad that you won't share information you boast about having. If you have info but cant or wont share it, don't boast about it. That's it, there's no argument against that. It just sounds entitled when you post about knowing things we don't and not telling us what they are. So if you can't give us information, don't. Personally, I hope you leave if all you can contribute is that you know something, but refuse to tell us what it is. I apologize for making you ruin your record of not attacking other posters, directly or indirectly. Have we seen the teal droid in any posters, merch, etc for ROTS or is the figure our first look at it? -

I meant skin colour, I couldn't tell if "black chic" meant a woman in black clothing or one with darker skin. EXACTLY. Some people here think having a little bit of information makes it ok for them to lord it over us. I was really hoping I'd only want the set with the rusted at-st to save my wallet, but dang this speeder set is shaping up pretty good from what we've seen in the trailers. Yeah, so if you have information, post real information or don't post at all. "there's a new leak coming" is not remotely helpful, it just makes it sound like you have info you don't and are choosing to keep it from the forum. -
Aside from both being arial vehicles, they have nothing else in common. The black panther jet is very much a stealth fighter, with a very thin profile and angular wings. The quinjet is a larger, more gunship-like build, very much more rounded than the black panther jet. You can't complain, especially since they were both actually in the film. I agree that a UCS style battle of avengers compound would be so much better than a mosiac, but c'mon, think of how cool a mosiac of iron man with his repulsor extended would be as a decoration in your home.

You mean the african american woman as opposed to a girl in black clothes, right? I can't see any clearly feminine knights of ren, but maybe I missed a casting announcement or something. If it is her, I believe the current rumors are that that's (i don't see how this is a spoiler especially since we don't know for sure but just to be polite) , her design is pretty cool too. The odds that this is showing up are so minimal they're near-literally nonexistent. None of the rumored 2019 or 2020 sets come close to matching anything TPM, much less boonta eve classic, and I will ship you a free copy if the boonta eve classic is made into a UCS set ever, because it's so obscure. A podracer, maybe, but anything that would have a TPM jabba guard? no. -
Yeah, they're from animated shows. Sometimes a set will contain a figure based off the comics that doesn't look exactly like that in the show, but nearly every figure we have is mcu or avengers assemble or spider-man or whatever they call those shows now. The more i see it, the more it looks like a ninjago villain (Though I don't keep up with the story, I read somewhere that they're calling Oni or something), and the less it looks like BP. Yeah, whichever ghost rider had a car. I was just saying that he, she hulk, and other figures could show up if they did do a comics-based wave. after BP finishes preforming an exorcism on his car.

Would you mind telling us? -
I agree, we've all just decided this based on some leakers saying that they won't ALL be endgame sets. My money's on getting some new mech subtheme and every other avengers set is endgame. Any chance to get she hulk, ghost rider, and doctor strange, I'll take it. I missed the set with ghost rider in 2016 and clearly didn't want to waste my money on hulk vs red hulk. ghost rider really has to come with the bike so i never bricklinked him (though I believe it's a car in these comics for some reason), and she-hulk is just too expensive. And any opportunity to get another doctor strange, I'll take it.

Was this the zorri-looking one or a different leak? -

Usually we have a rumor for a while but solid confirmation/leaks that we can tell are real and show the full set are surprisingly close to the release date, actually. We'll see full TROS set leaks before the MBS/UCS set, in all probability -

I looooove the new figures. The first order jumptroopers look really cool and that helmet detailing is amazing! Zorri looks cool too, but I think those aren't the right colours based on what we've seen before. Teal astromech is great, glad to have a new colour for it.
