I looooove the new figures. The first order jumptroopers look really cool and that helmet detailing is amazing! Zorri looks cool too, but I think those aren't the right colours based on what we've seen before. Teal astromech is great, glad to have a new colour for it.

Knowing lego, we wouldn't get a thanos alternate head. I don't know if they'd choose that, it might just be to stylize him for the mech type sets.

Yeah, this is better then "he has a crush on the female embodiment of death" It's possible he has a helmet and they just didn't bother giving him an alternate face, or they just aren't bothering to make him a new helmet mold. when in doubt, assume budget constraints. @HarryVader hold up, I don't think thanos is ever controlled by scarlet witch, just attacked by and his eyes never go red, and they would give us an alternate face if they were trying to show that anyway.

That's comic thanos though, not MCU thanos. In addition, he didn't have red eyes in the OG infinity gauntlet comics anyway, and furthermore thanos in the MCU is an actual understandable villian, flawed by his insanity but he sees what he's doing as right and avoids killing the avengers to let the snap decide. yeah, I hate that. You're right, it is a klatoonian. I'm glad we're getting more species of minifigures, though a molded head could have been nice.

So I was wrong and we are getting a minifigure thanos, I don't like the minifig thanos head. I think the red eyes make him look to evil when really he was just misguided. I also don't like the seeming confirmation of nexo-knights type mechs, at this point I was still holding on for MCU sets and even had begun to hope for constraction figures, as as much as I hate the liscenced ones at least we'd get new bonkle parts.

A siege is a very different thing than a skiff, it's an event as opposed to a place for one thing. I think this guy is probably just in a mandalorian or ep 9 set as some generic thug or resistance fighter.

Yeah either he edited it for clarification or I'm losing it. Probably the latter. After seeing endgame for the 5th time, I'm more annoyed that we aren't getting chitauri tanks and whatnot. The only reason I can think for lego giving us these inaccurate avenger vehicles instead of accurate ones is something about hero vehicles, but there's nothing there I can really get that makes any sense.

We literally just did 2 waves ago, they're the most recent stuff besides the endgame and FFH sets. And we already have confirmation that we're getting more alongside the endgame wave 2 sets. Yes, they are very clearly showing how important these shows are to the next phase of the MCU, they'll be sets for them.

They can't make marvel or star wars due to action figure contracts, I believe. I don't follow lego dc movies, or marvel for that matter, but I agree that his inclusion there isn't real evidence of a physical inclusion, as cool as it would be. I actually don't like the trailer's bigfig design, anyway, I think he looks weird and plain

i saw a few things about it but I always assumed those were fake trailers, like the ones that were rampant for infinity war in early 2017, because we never got any official trailer. Than you, by the way. looks great. I do like how we have multiple mando torsos as his armor is supposed to evolve over time, lego could easily have put the same torso in both sets I assume we'll get.

Where can I find said footage? I think he is and they just assembled him wrong or something, unless that guy's gonna be a real dementor/ringwraith looking guy.

I really like these new knights of ren figures, the new helmet amd hood are great. If the quality of these guys and the mando torsos matches the rest of the wave, then we're in good hands

This is just a wishlist of every major suit people want we haven't gotten, your friend is a victim of wishful thinking. We're not getting a spider-cave, 100% not in the next wave but probably not for years at least.

Yes, I'm very excited. I think this basically confirms that we'll get disney plus show lego sets because of just how big of an impact the seem to have on the MCU. I'll be interested to see if phase 4 begins to affect how lego branches out with future IPs, due to the apparent branching out of the MCU. Anyone whose read the hawkeye comics with the exact same logo (and the same general plot from what we know) know's It'll be a very comedic show, but we're also getting dips into horror with doctor strange in the multiverse of madness, thriller with from what we know of black widow, and (unfortunately in my opnion, the thor series is at it's best as an action/comedy series) romance in thor: love and thunder. I'll admit I haven't seen the movies for him, but Blades such a cool character in the comics, especially the recent avengers ones.

yes a full leviathon would have been better, I'm not disputing that I wish we'd get sets for adults, just reasoning as to why they may do this. But yeah, it's like including a minifigure for adult collectors, or Lola for the 5 people who watch agents of shield. Would you reccomend sanctum sanctorum? I want to buy iron spider but I'm not sure if I want to buy him online for $15+ or if i should buy the set.

Did you mean poultry? The real 5th element is cheese anyway. I think with HP they are going for adult collecters as well as kids, especially since most kids' exposure to harry potter comes from their parents, since the only real new media is those spinoff films. Compare this to marvel, which has multiple record-breaking movies a year, where they very clearly are only going for young children bc they know that any adult collecters will buy the sets for the figures anyway.

Official images of the 2019 star wars advent calendar are out. I really like this one, it's got the exclusive luke and lots of good army-builder figures, and the minibuilds will be a good parts pack.

you'd prefer we didn't get a comics mysterio? Juniors sets are great for getting figures at a cheap price, and i can try to resell or give the builds to my 6y/o neighbors if i don't scrap them for parts. There will always be juniors sets, and lego could very easily lower costs by not giving us exclusive figures in them, but they do.

There are really good images of the spider-man ps4 figure out there, and the torso and leg detail makes me even more upset that I won't be able to get this unless I pay hundreds of dollars. As a side note, it says something about the "gamerverse" on the back, which for some reason I can't stop laughing about.

Exactly. Lego can't sell sets of random terrain and "boring' accurate buildings, so while I wish they would cater more to adults and am still confused by some of their choices, at least we get good figures. And we still have that zebra thing, which personally I think is a mosiac or something, but who knows? Maybe it's a massive endgame final battle thing. This is my problem with them. they aren't as accurate as action figures, but lack the look of legos that minifigures have. Because of that the only constraction sets i get are bionicles, sets that aren't meant to look like existing characters. I'll stop myself now from ranting about how great G1's story is but that's why I think the star wars ones failed, and that it's unlikely we'll get marvel ones.
