There aren't any existing sets that look like thanos's ship, I'd suggest looking for a moc online. As for the display, any sort of baseplate or long and thin plate configuration should work.

I'm not sure what you see with the star destroyer, but that harry potter game came out over a decade before the "ucs" hogwarts, in which time the theme was cancelled and revived, so I doubt it had any sort of correlation to the set. The star destroyer rumors like this are less then rumors, and why sites report that there may be a set coming when in reality there is literally no evidence to suggest that.

It's too early for anything concrete on IX sets, we got the january wave pictures in what, november? It'll be augest to september before we see any leaks.

Colours feel too bright for me, but like you said if you cover the shield that would make a good rescue Not in my Hall Of Armor lol. maybe I'll just find a dark red torso and put a bracket over it, or bricklink another mk 7 torso. (I currently have 2, one for my mk7 (duh) and one for my mk 4.)

Need ideas for a custom iron man that doesn't have an iron-man specific torso because I now have a mk50 helmet and legs lying around left over from making a custom mk 85 (that uses the torso and helmet but the mk 43 legs) and the QR suit bags.

Thanks, that's actually pretty good for how narrow it looks. I'm using AOU/CW torso with navy legs, dark brown hands and the endgame head+helmet with his shield and but there's really no good options.

So the distribution for these packs was a fiasco, and they were made for toys r us and only released because they already had them planned. I'm fairly sure bricktober, at least as a promotion but probably overall, is dead. I only use pure, unchanged lego, no custom printing/moulding/etc but good for you, i've seen some good customs of her online. At this point I will accept that rescue is a non-nanotech mk 49. I didn't hear anything about amazon promotions though, maybe they mentioned it and we just missed it. Spider man pack is real i guess, but it's not the ditko suit. Not sure wether or not I'll pick it up.

I don't think there will be a bricktober, considering the state of toys r us. Last year was different as they already had the packs made, but I doubt they'll make them again. Yeah the colour makes it stand out to much, I'd rather have a navy rescue-esque torso then a more accurate but bright blue one. I want that shoulder element though, the brickbros uk blue steel custom actually isn't that bad, especially when compared to their "piston" and "sneaky" customs. (not hating on those creations, they do the best they can as purists.) I tried to make a hot rod the other day, It doesn't look that bad but it aggravates me that lego has dual molded arms in red and black but they've got the red at the top, when hot rod has black at the top. If we do get some form of bricktober pack or second wave, it better have more iron man suits, as the fact that the current setup has 1,5,6,7, as well as the 38,39,41,42-48(hulkbuster) is giving me irrational anxiety. At the very least I want shotgun so we can have a solid 10 suits without interruption.

I would say that the 42 is an exception, not the rule. When this same company revealed their iron man 3 suits, I don't believe those had their numbers on them, except the mk 42. Also, I don't think Tony would count rescue if he didn't count the 7 war machines he made.

Also, weird to hear that it's 0049 since that implies it's been something he's been working on since long before infinity war, probably years before they get married, yet is still a "special anniversary gift"? Although I guess his suits don't have their mk number on them, except war machine so I guess it might be referring to something else. Anyone have any good ideas for a rescue custom? I don't think so, I think it was just made for firefly/ant man. I doubt lego was even given the QR helmet design, since the figures are all based on concept art where they had their normal hair/helmets on in their QR suits, like @Quicksilver838 said I agree, see above. I don't know. I could see the old ant-man helmet with trans blue being used, but I could also see different printing on the new one. It's definitely gold, again the scene with morgan stark wearing it confirms this, the merchendise just got it wrong.

no there were parts of the movie where it was just normal suit-looking, without the thing at the back. Some of their recent tv spots and, of course, the pirated footage online help confirm this. We wouldn't have heard anything yet, based on other themes. I hope we do get something, you never know. Also yeah lego's bad with keeping spoilers out of sets. Yeah but I still don't understand why the essential mk 50 recolor for pepper would then have been made before the mk 50, his own nanotech suit. I know he cares about Pepper, but it seems really out of character for him to make a suit for her before his own since she wasn't really a superhero and in fact wanting him to stop and have a family.

I think the new helmet is gone. Although all instances where it hasn't been used yet feels like it should have have possible rationale, there are too many for it to just be a coincidence. The juniors set MAY have been because it's a juniors set, the snowspeeders MAY have been because they'd rather change the helmet than the snowspeeder design, but i have no reasoning for why biggs has hair instead of a helmet.

Yes! I always liked valkyrie, the supporting cast of ragnorak in general is great. I assume the manufacturers may have taken some creative liberties with the design.

if you look up "spider man ffh action figure", lots of results show up as the ditko suit, like the funko pops and marvel legends, more so than the iron spider for sure and on par with the stealth suit. Then again, the only marvel merch i really collect is lego, (maybe ill get a replica though), so maybe I'm missing something and a google image search isn't showing the full story. At any rate, I feel like it's certainly a more desirable suit than the desert knightmare batman, which had what, a minute or two of screen time?

Yes, but desert knightmare batman wasn't a figure who was prominantly featured in merchandise, more of a fringe variant, unlike the ditko suit. And I guarantee lego marvel puts more desirable figures in more expensive sets to get more people to buy them. Thanos, 2016 captain marvel, ultimate ultron, hulk, etc. Yeah it's like the same piece but with more at the back. When the ultron helmet piece came out I thought it would have been perfect for captain america.

Yes, it could be like 2 purge troopers, a stormtrooper, and an officer/other enemy in the game. I also think we'll get either a set of that woman who helps Kal's ship, or a small duel type wet with him and 2nd sister. The fact that i'm really hyped for an EA game disturbs me, but it looks so good. I'm going to go on the record saying that if every lego set was some form of gonk droid or battle ready threepio lego's revenue would increase 500%. But i can really just slap a bowcaster and staff on one of my threepios and the same affect is achieved. Maybe if i it had a new torso i'd bricklink the part.
