  1. That makes more sense, but I'd say we're definitely getting a lot of prequel sets this year. They're mostly ones relating to clones, but it's not like having clone troopers in it means the ARC-170 isn't a prequel set. Even with the more nebulous stuff like the big clone legion packs where the builds don't match with anything well, I'd say they're more based on ROTS than TCW, since we saw the phase 2 327th for all of three seconds in TCW, and I don't believe the snowtrooper-armor style Galactic Marines appeared at all, aside from maybe Bacara. And then of course you have two different Jango's Slave Ones, the Blade of Dorin microfighter, etc. This is also definitely possible. I've been wanting an imperial lander for years, I hope they get around to it. (Looking back this is not one of my better ones, those spring shooter triggers are going to get stuck in the hull and those 2x2 corner tiles stick out like a sore thumb) It is weird that we aren't getting some form of mustafar- I feel like a diorama's been expected since they introduced the format- but yes, you are correct. Lego knows it's not so much prequel fans as it is clone bros. There is always hope. They made a set based off the Prototype Kenner Sandspeeder awhile back, and a firespeeder this year. Nothing is truly out of the question entirely (Though I will personally be putting my money on a jungle camo speeder and a waterspeeder) Boba really needs a new color- I know it's waaaaaayyyy too much to do for a single figure, but it'd be the only way to accurately capture him. The Invisible Hand duel would be a great set and a good way to get another Dooku. I'd happily have taken that over the smaller slave one, or the 327th big pack, or the galactic marines jumbo pack
  2. I assume being a tie-in would be why it's here, though it is unfortunate if the only two standard system 1HY mando movie sets are $100+ That's what I think, but like I said, it gives him some credibility, since beforehand it seemed like he didn't know anything whatsoever in terms of leaks. *Looks at the set list for the year* I wouldn't say that's necessarily the case. Maybe if it really was a Cobb vs Bane duel, but the helmet means this is definitely a Mandalorian set. A set based off the most popular star wars project disney's put out, especially around kids, doesn't really mean a set based on the most adult-based star wars show would be viable.
  3. True, but it's interesting that he put a Cobb Vanth thing on the list- IMO that actually, somehow, gives him a bit of credibility because it's a wild guess that seems to at least have gotten the character right. A set like this would be pretty solid, if the bantha was brick-built I'd probably buy it:
  4. That's my point- star wars does this across the board, clones aren't some sort of unique special thing carrying the franchise.
  5. The BARC with 501st clones and kelleran beq "Ah, yes, but this generic white-armored trooper has A SPLASH OF BLUE!"
  6. Yeah lego never releases sales data for specific sets like that. If it retires fast and was constantly on sale you know it did bad, and if it lasts for an insanely long time without sales you know it was good, but it's hard to gauge situations like this. I don't remember set numbers but it was 501st Battlefront 2017 unit, 501st Togruta Cultural Appropriation unit, 501st vs Jar Jar, and then the pretty solid super battle pack with the shinies and coruscant guard. For clone fans? Sure. But I guarantee you those same people would say the theme was complete trash from 2014-2021 or so. I know! I've gotten more into collecting comics since there's so little lego that interests me this year. Which... man, the price on those have snuck up quite a bit since I was younger too, but at least I can choose from a variety of characters instead of walking into the shop and 90% of the volumes on sale are about clone troopers. That's what they should do IMO, or at the very least, a comparative lack of clone sets. It's only a year. Give most clone fans, who can't responsibly drop $600 on legos every year, a bit of time to catch up while letting the OT/mando/ST fans open their wallets a bit more. It sounds like they're doing what you want, and it simultaneously sounds pretty rough. Is anyone here hyped for ANOTHER 332nd pack?
  7. Exactly. See part of me thinks that's the case, but the other part of me thinks it started out doing well, they extended production, and accidentally overcorrected and made too many for the remaining sales. I bought it on discount over a year ago (which was still about a year into it's lifespan, I think), and then picked up a second one because that triple pack of clone wars sets was just too much plastic to pass up for $50. I just don't understand how we ended up in a timeline where 2/3rds of availible sub-$25 star wars sets on amazon are clone battle packs To be fair to lego, most of those would be over $25, but still. It's just too many clone BPs It's not so much that anyone THINKS we're getting one as one man hoping very badly we get one against all odds. I think even @CloneCommando99 knows it's pretty unlikely.
  8. This is true and we're overdue for a B-wing as well, but to be fair (and as you point out), it's not the most well-known or prominent ship. The Y-wing's been around since day one both in terms of being in ANH and the first year of the theme, which is part of why it's so surprising to me it's been so long since the last normal sized one. Ko-to-yah. $11 is not bad at all. I've got a $25 amazon gift card and I think it's a sad comment on the state of the theme that when I plug "lego star wars" and "Under $25" into amazon's engine, the results I get are some above-retail microfighters, the 4+ mando set, the luke mech, and only 6 "normal" sets, which are: FOUR CLONE BATTLE PACKS Obi Wan's delta (either they made a ton of this set or they're having a lot of trouble moving it) The mando vs imperial battle pack. And yet the battle pack next year is mandos vs clones. Also, none of the june wave is on amazon? What's up with that? I was going to use the card to get the night trooper BP but it's not on the site.
  9. Y-wing's long overdue a new system-scaled set, too... it'll have been 7 years since the last one in 2026, and a full decade since the last system-scaled rebel one. I won't allow myself to think it's possible though, especially with what other rumors are out there for 2026. The tank would assumably be us finally getting an ITT, or maybe a new occupier, which would both be good options if this was real. And it's the 10 year anniversary of Rogue One, and they've been doing at least something for most anniversaries... no. There's no way that if the 1HY list is in any way true that 2HY includes a rebel Y-wing and either of those imperial vehicles... Did you get a solid discount on it or give in? Either way for a set that small it's not the worst thing in the world to get it for the fig, even if you paid retail. It is a very nice figure from what I've seen.
  10. No clue. Sometimes people just drop off the site. I've been optimistic for Rivals sets before, but now that we have a chance at MCU Punisher (Honestly, just that we have a chance at a punisher in a sub-$300 set), I'm not going to let myself hope for anything further than a buildable jeff. (Also, since we are shortening seasons with the same content, we'll have double the amount of new rivals added between now and the release of a fall 2027 CMF as there would be slots in the CMF). Even as-is I'd have a tough time condensing the current roster to only 13 characters (we can slot a molded jeff in with someone else) I think I'd go: Magneto (with molded armor and new molded sword), Captain America (with new molded armor and new shield print), Peni (buildible accurately sized mech that she doesn't actually fit inside), Emma Frost (with molded jeff and psi beam), The Punisher (with Adjuncation and Deliverance, as well as a smoke grenade), Moon Knight (two crescent darts and a molded ankh), Squirrel Girl (slingshot and 3 squirrels, including Tippy-toes), Magik (new multi-piece molded sword and a molded demon), Luna Snow (with molded snow blast and a small buildible stage), Dagger (with two daggers and a back attachment for cloak's head, hood, and cloak to look like they're wrapping around her), Rocket Raccoon (with chaingun and B.R.B.), and Loki (With Scepter and rune) This is a mix of trying to do what I think lego would do (50/50 male/female ratio, equal duelist/tank/strategist ratio), characters Rivals made more popular, and definitely some personal bias with MK, Magik and Punisher. But even then I'm pretty sure if we ever got a rivals cmf without accompanying sets, we'd definitely get Iron Fist, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Namor. Realistically I don't think the roster can be effectively covered in any real capacity without at least one or two waves of sets, ideally ALONGSIDE a cmf. And while Rivals continues to be very popular time will tell whether or not lego tries to capitalize on it.
  11. LEMME TELL YOU SOMETHIN, RED You know those, uh... those minifigs? The ones I put apart, the figs I disassembled? I want you to know that I'd do it all again. This is a circus, all right? It's a charade, it's an act. It's bullbrick about how crazy I am. I ain't crazy! I'm not crazy. Okay? I know what I did. I know who I am. And I do not need your help. I'm smack-dab in the middle of my right goddanged mind, and any scumbag, any... any lowlife, any maggot piece of plastic that I put down, I did it... because I liked it! Hell, I loved it! I'm sitting here, I'm... I'm just itching. I'm itching to do it again. And you think... What?! You think you're gonna send me to a nuthouse?! Some doctor, they're gonna get me to stop from doing what I want to do? Well, that ain't happening! NOT ON MY WATCH! You people, you call me the Punisher, ain't that right? The big bad Punisher. Well, here I am! You want it, you got it! I am the Punisher! I'm right here! You want it, I'll give it to you. And anybody who came here today to hear me whine, to hear me beg? Well, you can kiss my 31129! Do you hear me? I'm guilty. Come on, please, judge! I'm guilty, you hear me? I'm guilty! I'm guilty! It's all about him. He talks to you, dudn't he? You hear his voice. You do, don't you. Every time I stop moving, I see my little boy, I see him. And I hear his voice. He says "Build 'em, Daddy. Every single one of 'em, build 'em." That's why I do what I do. And that's why I see it in you. That's why I see it in you because you know you didn't build a goddang thing and it's gonna keep eatin at you. It's gonna keep eatin, and eatin, and eatin. There's no getting away with it, you understand? I mean Spidey doesn't kill so I'm sure he'll take issue with that, but I can't see him "genuinely despising" anyone besides Goblin, and even then, he learns to let go. Every time I think I'm out, they pull me back in... If we have to have hulk in this film, I'd prefer Frank and Spidey taking him down over Professor Ruffalo babysitting Peter. @Lego Nostalgia is gonna be absolutely popping off over the chances of a lego Bernthal Punisher minifigure skyrocketing
  12. The fact that lego can't be bothered to give the thing the correct color hands- and in fact has him wearing gloves inside his hands, somehow- really bothers me. As for slopsday, But the more I think about it, I don't think this film will be good at all, so I'm glad they'll escape it. Plus,
  13. I just saw the disgusting Slopsday rumor that they're which kills what little hope I had for the film. I honestly am not sure if I'll even go watch it. I at least thought I'd be able to pick up those minifigs from the sets, but now I don't even think we'll get that.
  14. No, he called it, I'm a heretic. I realistically just think there's more TIEs needed more desperately, like the Defender, Reaper, or even a new Advanced. In an ideal world we would get all of them within a few waves, but in the current state of the theme I'm concerned we'll only get one in the next two years (And you know we'll see another normal TIE in 2027, so...). Welcome to eurobricks! The wave releases August 1st, so a little over a month from now, but you can find images online already. Lego truly hates the clones, this is proof.
  15. I do like pedantry and eagerly await the "p2 shinies gun down Clem" set in fall 2026. Your optimism is impressive but- if the list is true- ill-founded. If lego straight up went "oh, they want MORE clone battlepacks, and of legions we've already gotten too" there's no chance in hell we see any adaption to anything besides clones that's had fan demand.
  16. I know when I'm beat (though happy to see others enjoyed mine) 5 11 7
  17. They absolutely can, there weren't any clones in it. (And while it gained popularity over time, it wasn't super popular with kids, who lego does occasionally remember exist.) I'd be surprised if that was the case, but I guess you never know. All solid choices Yeah- those are the 41st. They were, like I said, weirdly prominent in the latter half of the 2010s. Can't wait for the 41st on a planet where their armor makes absolutely no sense. PLEASE find a way to put them on Rhen Var Off the top of my head, not many. Many commanders/captains have them, but the 327th are the only legion I can think of where all the grunts have got em. I'm sure there's some more obscure ones, but so far lego's stuck to ones that were in the movies at some point and/or fairly prominent in TCW. That Cobb Vanth duel is crazy bold if he actually doesn't have any info. Though maybe he's just realized from that one guy who "leaked" three consecutive "movie superman torsos" that no matter what he does some people will still believe him. My one thing that I sort of know isn't even on there and it felt pretty safe so we'll have to see. I also feel like as far as lego's fallen here, TMAG still has to have at least one sub-$50 tie-in set. I can't think of a single SW movie that didn't. (I mean, IMO they should always have a non-gimmick one $25 or under, and in this particular case a $10 accurately sized AT-RT with Mando, Grogu, and a snowtrooper or something would have worked super well, but whatever)
  18. And then put a new character in, like, every one in five of them. We're STILL missing Ronin somehow.
  19. Even then with only 12 slots, a "full" cmf is a drop in the bucket of the cast of those films. We'd need like three bugle-sized modulars of exclusively new figures.
  20. Spotify claims this is my most listened to- song, I feel like it's not, but I guess they'd know. (The normal version, not the TIE avenger version. You're gonna need to get Englebert Humperdinck to record the TIE Avenger edition.) What happens if we get the list of all the 2026 sets and it's not there? Do you accept temporary defeat, or keep pushing for 2027? I'm shocked lego's been so restrained with the 41st clones. They used to be weirdly prominent despite the relative lack of clone sets, and now that it's clone mania they're suspiciously absent.
  21. Arm-printed cat sweater and minifigure legs with printed cat hair may be a new low for society.
  22. Before the Dark Times. Before the Clone Empire. I never really had a Dark Ages. Though given how many sets it sounds like people here buy, in comparison it's possible I've been in my dark ages this whole time.
  23. It's only been about a day since the entry period ended, I don't think you need to sound the doomsday alarm just yet. It could easily be a week or so before they put up the voting thread if @Clone OPatra is out sick or something.
  24. Exclusive scoop everyone-- there will be at least one lego star wars minifigure released next year. Like I don't mean to be rude, but you can't act like the most obvious things possible are "building trust". I could give out a less obvious set choice. I do like the mental image of somebody arguing with Plo himself over the microfighter. "Look man I get that you have a new head mold, but $15 is just too much. Can you do $12?" *breathes in through the breath mask* "...what... is a lego?"
  25. As if lego would make any character in a batman movie besides Man and Jonkler.
