Ongoing Transformers Rumors and Discussion
Mandalorianknight replied to NoOneOfImportance's topic in LEGO Licensed
We'll definitely get at least Ravage and Laserbeak. I don't know if we'll see any more than that, but maybe we'll see Rumble and Frenzy as a GWP (and being in the same set, it would solve the name issue) -
Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Mandalorianknight replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah, it's unfortunate. I hope it does well on streaming, I think a lot of people just don't have faith in marvel anymore and even with the good reviews, it's just not enough to get people in theatres. I know a few people who want to see it but are waiting for streaming, and more who just saw it last weekend and loved it. I know at the very least I'll watch it another 2-3 times within the first week of it's release on streaming- I'm hoping to watch it a fourth time in theatres before it leaves too. If doomsday doesn't make money, I honestly think almost everything but secret wars gets cancelled. This is the second time this has been rumored. -
I learned I am Hal Jordan today, I guess. I also can't explain how or why but I feel like Galaxy of Heroes's placement is somehow insulting it (Maybe because I have low opinions of the two projects in the same catagory), and I couldn't be happier. I played that thing for years. If you don't pay money, the experience is hell, and I was the Doom Slayer. I tried to come back awhile ago and they completely changed the UI, but because I opened it once now I consistently get weird fake game ads for it. Does Lucasfilm know the ad companies are doing this? Why do they have to pretend like SWGOH is a different game? Is the branding not enough to snare a large enough amount of people that some of them become whales?

DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

I like the implication that the buyers aren't Endgame fans per se, but specifically fans of the final battle. Like they turn it on and just skip the first three hours of the movie. -
LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

And the next, until we win, or the set slots are spent. (I don't even necessarily think the avenger would be the best option for a TIE the next few years- I'd like to see an advanced, reaper, and defender first- but the enthusiasm is fun.) I admire the sheer audacity to not even place it in a timeframe where we get normal sets. That's some "my source is I made it the **** up" level stuff. If they started right now, they could hypothetically have one out by the end of 2027, but I wouldn't bet much on it's quality. It's important to consider two things here: 1. For the development time, it's unlikely they didn't start battlefront 2 until battlefront 1 released. Battlefront 3 (from the first set of games) was never completed but we know there was concept art for battlefront 4 at the time. 2. As for the second part, they wouldn't do it simply because it would make no money. A huge chunk of the current playerbase has already owned the game for years, and the game has routinely been on deep discounts that include a big chunk of the skins. It's not as simple as letting a few guys into the back office to upload some code- they'd likely lose money if they tried to start updating the game again in any real capacity. Either way, we all know it wouldn't see sets anytime soon since lego's become afraid of SW game sets. Which is a shame, because those two 2015 battle packs were excellent. -

I could absolutely see lego launching an ISB style raid if they ever found these guys. The force ghost guy? I think he's just alt builds now. Unlike that one guy who's leaked three different "superman movie set" torsos now and just keeps going "trust me bro, I know the last ones were fake but this one's totally legit" -
Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
Mandalorianknight replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks! That's the whole idea- sets that you'd want from this theme- a wave where you'd be hard-pressed to ship a single one. And yeah wow- I'd left the jedi games off mine because lego seems to have abandoned them after BD-1, but this would definitely bust my wallet as well. A ton of great starfighters and larger starships. Oppo Rancisis -

Given that this debate has reared back up, I'd like to remind everyone my admiration for Mara Jade is purely platonic appreciation of a fictional character This dude is sick. Absolute legend. Canonically still alive too, or at the very least, confirmed to have survived order 66 and never had his death shown or implied. *Battlefront 2017 flashbacks* They just can't win with 327th coloring. Either it's the mustard troopers or the yellow isn't dark enough. -

This is our best chance for Rivals sets. Come on lego. It'd print money. You know you want to make these. These would sell so well that you could probably find it in your heart to give them (gasp) leg printing whilst keeping your profit margins up. (And coincidentally, Rivals includes Kaine (as a skin), Moon Knight, and Luna Snow, and Daredevil's in the files...) Also would be a good chance to get a Thunderbolts set or two, but unfortunately the box office isn't correlating to how good that movie is so I don't think there's a realistic chance of sets for it... -

There's a curse preventing any studio from making battlefront 3. Now that EA no longer has the exclusive license to star wars, the best we can hope for (and better than EA battlefront 3) is a new studio picking up the battlefront name for battlefront (2027) or something. Or Fortnite. I don't play it, but I hear it's essentially battlefront 3 at the moment. -

I'd understand if they were cropping it weirdly to avoid a watermark, but I mean... obviously not. This is engagement farming. I mean wow, yeah, it's the top of a 327th helmet. Looks good, but there's not really anything to say besides "they didn't mess it up from what little we can see." -
[MOC] 76215 Black Panther Bust Alternate Build
Mandalorianknight replied to Ransom Fern's topic in LEGO Licensed
The designers of these sets must quake with fear every time you buy one- this is the second time I've thought a set just didn't work as a concept only to see you turn it into something I'm tempted to drop hundreds on. It looks SO CLEAN. Making any sort of realistic human form is one of the hardest things to do with lego and it's impressive that you've done such a good job making a form-fitting suit. If you have any interest in working for lego, this and the hulkbuster would pretty much guarantee you a spot, I'd say. They're not just good MOCs, they're showing that with the budget and part availability of the actual set you can pull off some pretty insane feats. -

Unfortunately it's not big wheel- theatre projectors wouldn't be able to process his might and they'd explode, preventing the movie from being shown- but it's the next best villain (aside from 8-ball) The character you don't know was Peter's roommate at one point, which sums up the character pretty well since he was literally living with spider-man without knowing it. -

Good hunting. You can bring it in warm, or you can bring it in cold. As fun as that would be, licensing costs would make that set even more expensive than the prize machine, which is a set a lot of people are saying is overpriced. (Personally for lego in 2025, given a minifigure allegedly accounts for $3 value added to a set, I don't think it's all that bad.) I burn my life (or more accurately, a hole in my wallet) for a sunrise I'll never see (set that'll never release) She earned that name- she goes through some pretty rough stuff in her first book trilogy and really proves that no amount of conditioning, or even having a supernatural voice in your head constantly screaming intrusive thoughts at you, can keep her natural heroism down forever. But the SCARF! You've forgotten the scarf! But seriously, by this logic, most stormtrooper variants are the same- it's just white armor, isn't it? And why was anyone excited for Black Cat when they just could have given Black Widow white hair? Very happy to hear that- new mold number might actually be on the high end when all things are said and done. Even if it's just putting them in a more accurate DBG and they don't have the orange markings or any new molds besides the head, it'll still be an improvement- I still don't get how the dark brown commando droids happened, did they just mix the two colors they actually are? To be fair, do we know it's based on ROTS? Lego really likes generic prequel era sets based on no specific scene- the 327th set, for example, or the MTT- I can't remember P2 bly being IN TCW besides a single shot of a montage at the start of S7. -

This is an undisputed win for the MCU, the world's second-strongest villain (After 8-Ball) is finally joining the universe. are cool too, I guess... -
Korra only escapes my ire because complain about it given the other post-ATLA shows/movies would be like complaining about a waiter putting pickles on my burger when they've given me a side of dog feces- I don't particularly like the former, but at least it's food- it's clearly not the main issue. It pretty much has to if it's going to have a shell/casing, just to make the lower parts of the casing removable without having another guy hold it up. Yeah I feel similarly here, I'll never buy it- probably even if I did have the money to burn, just because where the heck would you even put it, but it'll be a really cool thing to see in lego stores or even just the images online. There was an idea.... Please, just something from 2026. I need to know whether or not there's a sunrise I'll see. I've probably said that at some point, but I know I wasn't the first- I think that's been said here almost once a wave for years. -

Please do. I think they both work for those versions. I almost would say a more expressionless head like the generic rebel head that was suggest WOULD work for reed given I personally would want a neutral default face, but I've totally seen Lex's expression on Reed in comics before. Yeah he's not that much bigger than normal humans- I think part of the reason people remember him being so "big" is because most spiders are skinny and most of the shots of him close to people are when he's fighting a 15 year old- and I think it's also more stylistic than "real"- like if these variants popped up in the MCU I think Miguel would still just be a bigger guy, not like a hulk or even MCU thing. -

Normal amount- any big increase would be in 1HY for the Mando Movie, and while IIRC we only have a partial list for the HY, I do feel like we'd know by now if there was a big mando wave in march or something. It has to be- it's the flagship of the theme, as weird as it is to have an exterior that's going to depict one version of the DS with some interior scenes from another, I just can't see them removing half the figures/scenes the $500 version depicted. -

Yeah, I think I'm not understanding what you're trying to say- It is an 18+ set- I'm not sure if it has the label or not but for all intents and purposes it sounds like a UCS AT-ST- an AT-ST that, like what you've been asking for, is larger and more detailed than the system models. I was initially confused because I thought you were saying that you wanted the turbo tank and MTT to be significantly larger and more detailed without increasing the price, but now you are saying you'd be fine with the price increasing into the UCS window. Where I'm coming from is just at that point, if the price is in the UCS window, and it's larger and more detailed than system sets, is it not basically just a UCS set? As for the star destroyer, no. I'd prefer it was cheaper, not larger and more expensive. This is correct- the Battle Droid went up 40% from the original price. Even assuming no deals are made between now and July 1st, if those parts are primarily coming from Vietnam and Mexico, we don't have 40% tariffs on those countries. Now, there are some sets that had increases lower than 25%, but ultimately I think especially with 18+ stuff like the droid, lego's viewing this as a situation where they can further increase their profits while pointing the blame somewhere else. If deals are made, we all know lego's not going to put the prices back down, so they make 40% more profit on that set than they planned to. If not, they still make ~15% more profit. (And one of the side benefits of lego's increased 18+/collector focus is that they get more and more people who'll buy overpriced stuff anyway...)
