  1. Hey, we have absolutely no idea what happened to 77014. Lego's gone out of their way to officially spend paragraphs talking about it without saying anything useful. Welcome to eurobricks. No idea at all, I liked him. To try and be slightly on topic, I hope he shows up as a fig next year. Cool design, cool ship. Glad you're here to defend against offensive stereotyping of 17th century sea captains. Yes! That scene was begging for a set, and I think $44.99 is... fine. Maybe a little overpriced/oversized, but we'll see. Snapping cyborg necks is super easy, barely an inconvenience. Watch out for spoilers! I don't think we'll get that as a build, due to the spoilery nature. I don't believe we know anything else about the Ahsoka sets (I think technically we don't know if ghosts are even there, but they officially announced Hayden was coming back, so it's either that or a flashback)
  2. Maybe. It's a wishlist, I can ask for a UCS babu frick if I wanted to. Just like I think the era of making entire waves off a single SW film (unless it's a tie-in to an upcoming film) is long gone, yet that's what I've been wishlisting here. Anyway, TLJ wave. Far from my favorite film, but some great designs: TIE Silencer ($9.99): Kylo Ren Resistance transport pod ($9.99): Finn Resistance Bomber vs first order dreadnaught ($19.99): Finch Dallow and Captain Canady Crait troopers battle pack ($14.99): 2x crait trooper (full resistence helmet), 2x crait trooper (hoth style helmet with goggles). Small crait trench build with mini turret. First Order security battle pack ($14.99): 2x first order stormtrooper, 1x stormtrooper executioner, 1x first order heavy trooper. Build is a console and weapon rack. Duel: Showdown on the Supremacy ($19.99): the flaming hanger bay where Phasma and Finn fight, with the raising/lowering platform from the excellent deleted scene. Comes with Phasma (battle damaged armor and helmet) and Finn (officer outfit) Ski Speeder ($34.99): Ski Speeder (not as hilariously oversized as the 2018 version) with Poe Dameron, Rey, BB-8, and a First Order snowtrooper. First Order Scout Walker ($49.99): First Order AT-ST and resistance turret with 1x first order technician, Hux, 1x first order snowtrooper, Finn, and 1x resistance trooper Dogfight over Crait ($79.99): TIE silencer and A-wing in scale to the 2021 x-wing and TIE. Comes with Kylo Ren, Tallie Lintra, 1x first order TIE pilot, Snap Wexley, 1x first order admiral, BB-9E, and 1x Gonk Droid. First Order AT-AT ($99.99): First Order AT-AT, smaller than the 2020 imperial one. Comes with 2x first order AT-AT driver, 2x first order technician, 4x first order snowtrooper, and 2x first order heavy gunner. Starfortress Bomber ($159.99): Starfortress (even larger than 2017 version) with full interior complement. Comes with 2x resistence pilot, 1x resistence bombardiar, 1x tail gunner, Paige Tico, Rose Tico, General Leia, and Admiral Ackbar. UCS: UCS First Order dreadnaught ($499.99): first order dreadnaught with massive underside cannons. Comes with Captain Canady and 1x first order stormtrooper. Quote sets: The Last Jedi ($59.99): Crait battleground build with Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren. Quote is "see you around, kid" Snoke's throne room ($89.99): Snoke's throne room with the throne, the red wall, and the equipment at the sides. Comes with Supreme Leader Snoke, Rey, Kylo, and 4x praetorian guard. Can be set up to depict the fight against the guards or earlier snoke scenes. Quote is "When I found you, I saw raw, untamed power, and beyond that, something truly special."
  3. It is so weird, especially sense they gave him that non-statement to say. As he points out in the video, the statement literally tells us nothing. We know no more about the set and why it was cancelled or delayed than we did before it.
  4. The Tomb is $40? Awesome. Getting that instead of the plane. Official images are cool, sure. But that temple of doom statement... ugh. I wish they'd at least say WHY they got rid of it, because them not saying it makes me think it's some stupid reason they don't want to admit to the public.
  5. First of all if you're referring to with red hood what I think you are the description says it's a custom, he never calls it a leak. But yeah the spider man one is fake. I still think the image itself was convincing but the account dug itself into a hole in the comments. "Uh, it is a leaked figure, but I painted the arms and legs" like what. the picture definately looks fake to me. Sounds like we need some actual leaks.... the timing is about right for some descriptions of the summer wave, no?
  6. I've seen this a couple times. Is something happening to the harry potter theme? It seems to be doing pretty well.
  7. Sorry for the double post, but peter 3 may have leaked. Completely new account, but the figure seems legit. Could go either way.
  8. I'm gonna be honest I had no idea you were talking about a specific leak announcement, I thought you were just saying the flash tracking set wasn't interesting rumor wise. Yeah, posting 24 hours ahead of time about some upcoming leak that's just a single figure would be kind of lame.
  9. 1st. 7. ABrickDreamer. Beautiful detailing and easter eggs. 2nd. 25. Captain Flint Great wooden floor, excellently fitting concept 3rd. 9. Kritch I mean, c'mon. It's genius.
  10. Hypothetically, more figures could be included (at $44.99, there better be at MINIMUM 3-4). I'd love to know whether it was some of the more obvious choices like supergirl or barry 2, or someone a little more out of left field like Zod or I'm sure it's happened more recently, but Giant Man in civil war was a big one.
  11. True, though it feels a lot more star-warsy than a standard marvel style mech. An updated Bo-Katan would be awesome!
  12. Putting aside that we basically just had the bo-katan ship (even though it has a stupidly inaccurate cockpit), it would be a really weird move to have Bo-Katan's ship at a lower price point than Mando's starfighter. If it is based on episode 2, it sort of has to be this. I wouldn't mind it though.
  13. Not this again, jeez. I'm gonna start a copypasta of why this is completely illogical if I see it one more time. We've had a billion clone-heavy sets in the past few years. Lego has no reason to dislike clone wars fans. That's an absurd idea, and easily disproved by the amount of clone wars and clone sets we get. Stop this. Please. Welcome to eurobricks, hope you stick around! I don't think any reliable sources have said anything about it yet (just a heads up I totally could have missed something I'm not trying to diss anyone), so I don't think there's any particular reason to believe it. That said, I wouldn't count on anything coming out until we see it on shelves given how weird lego's been recently. I prefer the P1 clones exactly because of that blandness. I like having a line or two of grunts in front of my vehicles and buildings. But that said, I totally understand why you don't like them.
  14. You mean if they if they get promoted they'll be assassinated by the beaurecracy a la Brazil (1985)? Because that's totally what it sounds like you meant. I know people keep saying this, but c'mon, this is absolutely absurd. I don't even care anymore. The three remaining sets could be hundreds of dollars out of my price range. They could cancel the whole line. I just want to know what's going on.
  15. That's a fair point. Though to be fair, it's not Morbius but Morb Adam. A very serious topic. You know, the Mandarin wouldn't be a bad move for what if. He's got appeal outside of just What If, and we could even get a new mold for the rings or something. For that matter, ODIN! That's a good point. I didn't realize we haven't had a Hawkeye since 2020. They need to throw him in something soon. It's almost perfect, but I think you need to somehow work in either Jared Leto's joker or Ezra Miller eating brunch.
  16. The lack of a generic P2 clone, especially with all these clone sets, drives me nuts. It's one new print. C'mon.
  17. hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha Lego Social Media Manager is singlehandedly the most competent lego PR guy. Promote him. Now. Eh, we'll never know if it would accomplish anything because they've got to reveal them anyway, right? ....right? I will say the 501st situation was a lot different because it was A: "we're entitled to this specific set" rather than "can you just tell us what's happening with this theme" and B: at least from what I've seen, it's not as incessant or rude as the constant 501st spam.
  18. You really don't get it? It's kingpin. It's one of the most praised marvel performances ever for his role in Netflix Daredevil, and between Daredevil and spider-verse he's a fairly well-known character. You can't see why people would want him as a minifig. I agree, I'm saying I think we'd see Kate but not Clint. The character is available elsewhere, and he and kate have similar outfits. Especially if a third of the series is what if again. That's my guess. Moon Knight with Layla for diversity (which I feel like objectively isn't the best choice set, Mr. Knight or Harrow would be better, but I like Layla so I'm fine with getting her instead of them. Especially if MK's head can be used for Mr. Knight.). The difference with the Lokis I think is that the two of them had completely different outfits, whereas Kate and Clint had very similar ones.
  19. I think Marvel is still more likely, but I would've said the same when DC series 1 came out. I'd be fine with it, just since we've only ever had the one... unconventional.... bigfig bane, but personally I've never seen Bane as someone who needs to be a bigfig. Though there are certainly some comics that make him quite large, so I wouldn't complain if they did make a bigfig one. Not like we haven't had any standard minifigs.
  20. Lego DC will find a way. So so far all we know is coming is the Batcave, '89 Batwing, Flash Batmobile, and buildible batman, right? Not that I'm complaining, as that's a LOT more than last year, but it'd be nice to get a comic-based system set.
  21. Maybe don't accuse people of racism because they don't want the same character as you in a CMF Because Harrow and Kingpin are major villains of their shows, and Kingpin specifically is a highly requested character, where Kahhori is a new character for an episode of what if. Don't tell me you can't see the difference. I wouldn't mind this, but at the same time, I don't think we realistically get both knights (or both Hawkeyes, for that matter).
  22. A very fun idea executed quite well! The original trilogy and classic space have always had a similar feel to me. I especially like how you didn't just throw classic space parts and colors onto the Nebbie. You made it a definitive classic space version, with the cockpits and bay, while maintaining the feel of the Nebuleon-b. Had the classic space line continued to this day, I could definately see something like this releasing under the name "galactic deployer" or "lunar frigate" or something.
  23. Since @BrickBob Studpants doesn't have a car, can he key mine instead? It's a piece of junk already, and this way I could sue lego for the full 2023 set lineup. This whole situation is so aggravating. I feel like lego's best move would have been announcing the sets around the time the temple of doom news came out, or AT LEAST when that one guy got ahold of and reviewed the three sets.
  24. I would bet actual money we get twelve figs in marvel series 2. But even if it was 18, there are still many characters I think most people would rather have than Kahhori. Thanks for the info. Ugh, though. I don't think that's the best logic to choose figs off of. He's one of the main characters of secret invasion (Should clairfy, the human head being a seperate head for him to "disguise" as in that, I'm not literally saying just his disguise). I don't think an alien protagonist of Secret Invasion is boring at all. But even if you don't care about Talos, sure. He could be replaced by Kingpin, or Harrow, or Ms. Marvel's homemade suit (or probably other characters from that show, I never saw it), or Echo, or a minifig Abomination, or any of a variety of other characters who are far better choices than some what if created character IMO. I don't think what if shouldn't be in the CMF (well, yes I do, but that's not realistic), but I think that A: What if shouldn't take many slots away from all the missing characters from the released Disney+ shows and B: the what if characters should be variants of iconic heroes/villains (like Zombie Cap, Captain Carter, and hunter spidey from the first CMF), rather than random new characters.
  25. First of all, yes, I would rather get another ironman (hawkeye's wife is a hilariously obscure pull for a CMF, don't act like we were ever going to get that unless the CMF was somehow hawkeye-specific.) There are 12 spots. Half the discourse about this CMF has been about which characters we'll lose out on because of how MANY excellent characters are out there from the shows that have already released. To lose out on Daredevil, Mr. Knight, Scarlet Scarab, or Kingpin because of this character would be extremely annoying... but also totally in-character for lego. Hypothetically optimal list for the missing/2023 shows. Note that even here, we're only able to include the main heroes of each show, missing many of the villains and side characters, and this is ignoring shows that were originally going to release this year like What If and Echo. What we're more likely to get: Unfortunately yeah. Though part of me wonders if her announcement might hint at the series not being so delayed. Weird move to announce a new character if she's two full years out.
