  1. I've said this before and I'll say it again, the "gore" in season 3 is over the top to the point that it's cartoonish. The big blood monsters are goofy in a way. It's also not the first time we've seen melting people in an IP Lego used. Indiana Jones had a arguably more horrific scene with a man's face melting off in a cartoonish fashion and Lego made sets for that after the fact. I don't think it will effect their views on this property significantly if at all. We had the scene with Dart and the cat before this set and they still went ahead with it.
  2. I know that, but I still find it really weird that they'd be advertising the toy line but not use the one from the sets the whole way through.
  3. I kinda feel bad for my grammar mistake effecting the validity of this rumor... the hint was for next year, I repeated it here at 3AM and typed "this year". So yes it's definitely not happening next year, but the actual rumor still may be true.
  4. I sincerely doubt that the Bricks and Pieces customer service rep has insider info on what themes and sets the higher ups are planning. I think it was more along the lines of friendly small-talk. But I think it reflects on how popular the idea is, so there's that...
  5. Although knowing Lego, it was probably only like this because the animation department wanted to save time on the mech and used the model from the game. Wouldn't be the first time...
  6. New trailer for the 'Lego Spider-Man: vexed by Venom' animation. A big-fig version of Venom appears so many times in this trailer alone. Maybe this points to a Venom big-fig in the next Spidey wave. If that were true, it could point to another Bald character getting a big-fig soon.
  7. The series 19 leaked list shows a Chamelion that looks almost exactly like the one from Tangled. Maybe points to it appearing in a Disney set soon?
  8. They rarely make licensed Minifigure series based on stuff they don't own. I'd say it might be possible to see a Bricktober with some Spidey suits at the best, but we're not even sure if that's dead or not at this point. I think if Lego and Sony can make a deal that we would probably get some for a Spiderverse sequel, but there's absolutely no way we're going to get any MCU suits outside of the film line.
  9. That is straight up brilliant my man. Well done!
  10. You really need to try to ground yourself a bit here. These are great wishes, but we're not genies. As much as we all want the missing Spider-Man suits, these ideas are out of the realm of possibility with this line.
  11. I'd wager it's entirely possible they'd theme them as Pixar and Disney animated characters if they did continue it as such.
  12. Having thought about it since then, I was making a MASSIVE understatement. Disney owns so many characters under it's company, we could get themed Disney series for years without ever running out.
  13. I don't really see how people are being "hysterical" by doubting a leak from months ago which so far has had almost no other evidence to support it besides the original leak. Especially seeing as the supposed release date (more of an imprecise release window) is almost a week away and nothing has been provided other than the initial rumor. Adding to that, there has been no announcement at Comic Con so far (nor close to Batman's 80th anniversary) despite this being one of the latest opportunities to do so.
  14. Honestly, I wouldn't mind Disney just running this as a annual thing with TLG, there's enough content there to do it.
  15. Just realized that it's kinda Likely that the 'Spiderman Mech' 2020 set will be based off of SP//DER seeing as we got a proper mech with more parts earlier this year. I honestly think he's thinking too wishfully. In reality, Lego aren't going to do that much of a variety of suits. We had an entire wave oof the same outfit. It's a nice thought though.
  16. Two Lego Marvel builds on display at SDCC. Notice how similar one of them looks to Into the Spiderverse. Also an inclusion of the Spider-Buggy. Maybe this hints at a closer relationship regarding Into The Spiderverse sets when we get a sequel. Photo's courtesy of Beyond The Brick
  17. DC had some pretty cool builds on display for SDCC. Photo's courtesy of Beyond The Brick
  18. Lego had a Stranger Things Dept of energy lab Minifig photo opportunity at their SDCC booth. Honestly, Lego have pushed this new IP a LOT in these past weeks. At this point, I'd be surprised if they didn't have more plans for the future of this theme. Photo's courtesy of Beyond The Brick
  19. Y'all think the rumor of the Batvehicle D2C was actually a rumor about them bringing out the Bat-pod on VIP points? Because otherwise I don't see what this could be. Also, the two DC set's have made their way out in SDCC and on twitter and we still don't have a reveal. Not looking good for the hopes of a reveal.
  20. The Disney rumor came from a leaker that has gotten a lot right in the past. Although I expect a Harry Potter line soon, the vague post and lack of credibility leads me to believe that was just a HP fan account making speculations.
  21. I feel like Lady Sif would have been a better option for the MCU female Thor. Natalie Portman gives really dry performances in the first two Thor movies. I thought that was why they scrapped her in Thor 3...
  22. Sorry, meant to type next year. Massive mistake. Still skeptical on the leak though.
  23. Instagram user 'legoharrypotterworld' claims there are rumors of a second HP Cmf Next year. As far as I'm aware, he's not really leaked any info in the past, and seeing as no others have picked up on it, I don't think it's an accurate leak going around. If he has leaked credible info in the past, please correct me. Otherwise I think this is pure speculation.
  24. I would much prefer the Bat-Tank from The Dark Knight Reurns. Arguably one of the most iconic Bat-vehicles.
  25. Honestly this entire line is underrated gold.
