  1. I wonder how the Disney-Sony fallout will effect the Marvel Game-verse. Let's hope it doesn't effect the next Spider-Man game.
  2. I agree. The printing looks better in design and extends to the back. Though I hear they printed straight onto Lego hands so the print on them quite easily scratches. If the new "mech" line is anywhere near the predicted shape, it'd be a great scale for us to get a Rhino mech in the future. The new Mandilorian set that's been revealed gives hope that the Disney+ Marvel show will follow and get sets of their own.
  3. You're forgetting that, as @Feng-huang0296 pointed out, we did get Spider-verse characters in the regular wave coinciding with the film. Also, are you forgetting this barely disguised movie version?
  4. The designers themselves mentioned that this was hastily put together when they saw the sucess of the theme. It makes sense they'd break their rule this time.
  5. Presumably they're somewhere in-between. Seeing as they've been labelled as mech's but seemingly still include figures.
  6. We got one with the most recent Ant Man set. We've also gotten them a bunch with Iron Man figures. It's likely when it comes to movie sets that we get an extra hair and helmetless expression because of the actor's prominence.
  7. Is Gunther a woman? Although yeah I see your point. It is kinda off. Maybe it's just because the actor's for those have such recognizable facial expressions.
  8. I don't expect them to have an alternate helmet-less expression on a comic version. I'd expect both expressions to have the chin-strap because he's rarely shown not wearing the helmet with his suit in other media. It makes more sense for them to be using this for a movie version seeing as he's pictured without the helmet quite often onscreen. Also, it's not very likely they'd include an alternate hairpiece in a comic set so it makes less sense to have a "regular" face on the back.
  9. This thread has essentially become a wishlist thread at this point. We don't even know names of the sets next year or if we're even getting a Diagon Alley in 2020 and we've had almost 3 full pages of discussion over a Diagon Alley D2C
  10. Unworthy Thor has kept a consistent look for a while in the comics. Even now after he's gotten Mjolnir back. He's also visually similar to the Thor we've seen in the MCU since Ragnarok so it'd make a lot of sense for him to be included in a set. That was my point. I don't see them including a separate hairpiece or a chin-strap-less face in a comic-based set, rather than having the chin strap printed on both expressions. As to why I expect it to be based of Chris Evans' Captain America rather than based off the animated counterpart.
  11. Add the possible Unworthy Thor head to that list. Someone used it on an Obi-wan and it really doesn't fit there. I'm leaning to believe that the Cap head is MCU based. The design matches up almost perfectly with the Chris Evans Nomad head we got for Infinity War. The hair is closer to the MCU Cap than the blonde we get for most comic Caps, and if it were designed for a comic wave, I'd expect them to have two expressions with the chin strap printed rather than have a regular expression to work for an actors face. Other than that, I expect everything else to be comic based for now, including the Unworthy Thor head. I don't expect that to be MCU Thor at all.
  12. Luckily they've already dispatched my order!
  13. That'd make sense, a lot of Overwatch's fanbase is based around the characters. Seems weird to make a whole new game for that though.
  14. They are some really great pieces so I'd be glad if they started making mechs with them again. Honestly if they recoloured this piece in red, it'd work really well for an Iron Man mech: As with the opening mechanic on the Freeze mech:
  15. Did those not sell quite poorly? MAybe they're reusing excess parts. If it's anything like the Mr Freeze mech from TLBM sets, I'l be happy. I also feel like an Iron Man mech would work better scaled as a Hulkbuster for the Hulk bigfig.
  16. Is Overwatch even a game that gets a sequel? Doesn't it exist as a live service with consistent updates?
  17. It's been drawn as darker in the comics before and it does have a tinge of lighter colour on it like the Nomad one did. Lego are also not always accurate when it comes to beard colour. Unworthy Thor is often drawn with darker orange-is hair so it'd make sense for Lego to make it orange.
  18. Aswell as the beard kid of expaning a bit towards the hair, like the beard is often drawn in the comics.
  19. The Cap head definitely resembles the movie version more than the comic one. The head resembles the Nomad head but with the beard removed Whereas comic Cap hasn't had a chinstrap in a long time and wears the scale suit. It looks quite a lot like Unworthy Thor from the most recent comics run
  20. The Cap head is definitely based off the Endgame version. Apart from the head resembling the Nomad figure and Chris Evans, the comic version doesn't really have a chin strap like this and is closer to the one we got in the first Endgame line. Also, does anyone else thing that the bearded head looks more like Unworthy Thor than it does Obi-wan. It's very scruffy and looks nothing like the Obi-wan's we've got in the past and nothing like Ewan Mcgregor. It'd also make a lot of sense in the context of the comic sets we're getting.
  21. Bricktober happening doesn't actually mean we're getting any figures. They could be planning a Bricktober sale or such. Unless you got proper confirmation from someone higher up that we're still getting the minifigure packs this year, it's not really solid info.
  22. Really wish they'd add the mid-legs to Bricks and Pieces. They're always "out of stock" and people don't part out the ones from Stranger Things individually.
  23. They definitely foreshadowed it with the wanted poster. I hope they give us the hairpiece in dark brown because I think that it really suits his more casual look.
  24. The blue variant appears to be based off the MCU version. I doubt that they'd waste that opportunity and make the same figure twice.
  25. Kinda feel like Lego will end up reusing that torso design in one way or another. It doesn't feel very exclusive.
