With Spongebob's 20th anniversary just passing, and Nick's upcoming prequel series Camp Coral in production and more series' currently being planned (however controversial of a decision after Hindenburg's death), what do you feel the chances are of the Spongebob line returning to coincide with their new expansion of the Spongebob brand? I believe MegaBloks have discontinued the line and currently no construction brands are using the license.

LEGO Disney Minifigures & D2Cs - Rumors and Discussion

I can definitely see that. Two years in a row would really be a treat. Wonder if one of the other 2 CMF's we'll be getting next year will be HP or if this spells doom to that speculation.- 961 replies

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

I feel like we'll see any DC sets on the 21st. That's when they have their giveaway planned for the DC sets so it makes the most sense. Especially as they had the new Endgame set on display for today along with their Marvel giveaway. -
Has anyone noticed an upping in ads for Lego Overwatch? Maybe it was just because of my search history, but I consistently see AD's for the line on Twitch now.

I think the idea is that this has now become the 2019 thread for leaks, rather than the thread for 2019 leaks. I like this a bit more, it'll make it easier to find when stuff leaked in retrospect and doesn't clutter the forum with threads about the same thing. -
The is carriage HOW MUCH? Wow, that's rather expensive for a medium build like that.

Lego hands are unprintable with pad print methods because of their material and shape. Printing on the existing minifigure scale gauntlet piece would make more sense. -

Lego have made a contest entry tweet for the Spidey SDCC fig. Interestingly, the rules page lists that they're giving out 5 of each Comic-Con exclusives over the next few days. Expect an entry tweet for the ASIS set later today I guess. -
Not the 'Trolls World Tour' sets are they?

"Thanos mech" could easily be used as a preliminary name for a mech (or mech-like character) in Thanos' army which hadn't had it's name revealed at the time. -

That seems a tad too dismissive. Lego sets with playset builds still look like kids toys (and sell as well!). Dismissing the entire discussion is kinda ridiculous, for a Lego forum. -

I don't see why Lego keep giving Spider-Man vehicles. It's just gawdy and doesn't fit the character nor is it iconic to the series. I don't see why they don't do small playsets like the great TLBM sets and the BRILLIANT Spider-Man 2 sets. Those New York / cityscape builds were not only amazing, but interesting and eye-catching. I don't see why they keep giving us terrible Red Blue mechs. There's a reason that the Venice set is one of the best received sets of the Far From Home line. Don't forget Doc Ock's pointless mech, Spiderman's Spider-shaped mech. -

Aren't they supposed to be based on the upcoming Netflix animated series for JW? -
I'm kinda on the fence tbh, the designs seem a little bit off from the Lego ones tbh. The torso's extend too far and I don't like the quality of UV prints. But on the other hand, they are brilliant figs and EG are pretty good quality UV prints.

I don't know if this completely proves the line is done. I mean, these are just early set name leaks, we don't know if they've gone into production at all. It's also not like we have never seen sets get named and then killed based on poor sales for a line. I'm hopefully optimistic, at least I'll be able to get the first wave cheaper if they don't sell well from stores. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I didn't see the Captain America bike selling well really. Probably because at first glance you can't even tell it's a marvel set, let alone that it has any Marvel characters in it (QR suits, yay!). I don't see why they're going another bike and a truck(???). Even as a kid I wouldn't have gotten these sets, I usually bought for figures, but then none of these things are even recognizable to the movie. There's so much content in Endgame that could've been made into sets and they give us this. I generally don't see ho this theme is afloat... Also, didn't we literally get a Spider-Man mech last wave. What are they thinking? -

Those sets names seem extremely, extremely fake. Even as preliminary names. -
I kind of expected Overwatch to fail. It seemed really niche as a theme. Especially because Overwatch as a game peaked on it's popularity a while ago and is no-where near as popular as it was or other games on the market. Shame to see this theme go though.

I never caught why they changed that rule. My guess would be something to do with those IP's not wanting to do the fan creator cut or something. Ideas just feels more empty without those sets tbh. Plus, cool sets for original themes like this get swept under the rug with the same brush. Dope as hell set idea though. -
I'd say if they make it, one of these would be in the set, because the two would share the same piece for their weird 'air-masks' and I dont see them putting two air-mask characters in the CMF.
-
Yeah, but they don't have the sleeping face variant for her. Maybe they could sneakily include the face on a Yule ball version of her to hit two birds with one stone.
-
It's always possible that they are going to do a merpeople set without Gabrielle and they included this face so you can use the figure in another set, like they did with this new Hagrid. But this does point to them doing it in the near future.
-
Maybe there's a chance they'll do the SDCC figures without the exclusive packaging. Like the Rocket Racoon Polybag.
-
It's also one of the most popular movies and I could see the sets reflecting that. Besides, it's not like they've not cheated their rules before because of the popularity of this theme.
