  1. Haha the hair looks a little funny on him. But yeah the hood is perfect. I hope Lego releases the piece in blue if they make a new Black Widow set.
  2. This just came across my mind, but does anyone else think that Taskmaster would look really good with the new Miles Morales hood? If LEGO ever makes a 3rd Black Widow set with Taskmaster closer to the film’s release I hope they reuse that hood on him
  3. Finally! I can finally return that defective one from Amazon and place a new order.
  4. Which account? EDIT: just saw it. That is a very weird green to go with the figure (looks more like poison jelly than smoke)
  5. But Mysterio’s clouds are green in both the comics and the MCU... So the Lego version will most likely be in that color.
  6. The character I'm most interested in seeing what Lego does with is Kro. I have a feeling he'll be a Steppenwolf-type build. I'm also expecting a lot of reused heads and no leg printings.
  7. If they ever do a Quentin Beck face, I bet they’ll go for the Jake Gyllenhaal version. Lego loves putting movie heads on comics figures (ex: Justin Hammer)
  8. Does anyone else hope that since Mysterio’s helmet is opaque now, we’d get a Quentin Beck face print underneath instead of the plain silver head?
  9. Finally saw Mysterio. Love the upgrade. The new helmet should also look fantastic on the FFH version
  10. I still can’t find Mysterio lol. Which account has pictures of it?
  11. Where can I find pictures of Mysterio?
  12. I like the Ghost Rider fig more now that I’m used to it. But the Spidey figures are so nice
  13. OMG that new Spider-Man is PERFECT
  14. Haha. To make an accurate prediction for the Marvel stuff Lego does, we often need to expect the exact opposite from what we want. Ex: if we want Lego to make the D2C an accurate Endgame set, we should not expect Endgame set, but instead a bunch of random mechs with reused SquareEnix figures
  15. To be honest, Ghost Rider is not as bad as people say he is. Yeah, although the figure looks a little goofy and all (my main problem with it is that smile, but it's honestly kind of hilarious and cute), it could have been so much worse. Also, who said only female figures can have a slim waist design? As @ToaDraco mentioned, Robbie Reyes in the comics has a slim build so this makes sense for the character. I also believe that a mere-exposure effect will develop between us and this figure (for example, I hated the Thanos mech minifigure when I first saw it but now I'm ok with it). I think we were expecting too much from the figure and we were disappointed because he didn't fit our high expectations. I don't love this figure but I'm still getting the set. I'm just happy we are finally getting Robbie Reyes in Lego form. I think he'll look super cool in his car. Plus for $20 this set is a steal
  16. The Infinity War sets were infinitely (pun intended) better than the Endgame sets, which were infinitely better than the 2020 sets...
  17. Do you mean Marvel itself or Lego Marvel? I wouldn't call 2018 the best year for Lego Marvel, as many Infinity War figures were disappointing (especially Thanos) and lacked leg printing. I would say the highlight of Lego Marvel was 2014-2016 (Age of Ultron wave, old Milano, Bridge Battle, Airport Battle, Doctor Strange set, etc). Unfortunately that time may never come back...
  18. Well, this is the same company that decided random mechs are better than iconic Marvel locations, characters, and vehicles...
  19. Also Ghost Rider is totally joining Taskmaster's silver skeleton head club Hey at least it was Robbie instead of Lego reusing Johnny as many have speculated and feared
  20. Is it just me or does Ghost Rider look like he's doing a super weird smile?
  21. That is a beautiful figure. I love it!
  22. Amazon restocked the set this morning (12am) with no purchase limits. All the stock was gone within 5 minutes, so I guess some scalpers bought out the stock. OMG that is horrible! I'm so sorry :( Amazon does that a lot with Lego sets and it's unacceptable, especially for a limited edition collectible like this. For the resale value of your set, I think the shipping label may hurt it because buyers may know that your item arrived without any protectives and may not want it (unless you can peel it off without damaging the box which is nearly impossible). That said, if your box was still in a good condition or if this set remains limited in quantity, you may still be able to sell it for a relatively good price.
  23. The piano is also a cool and innovative set so I wouldn't complain if it wins
  24. For those in the US who didn't get the Taskmaster Ambush set, I saw a rumor that the set will become widely available via Amazon and Shop@Home starting tomorrow. Is this real? I hope it is because I can order the set on shop@home and return the damaged one from Amazon.
