I think we can all agree now that the Doom mech set is most likely Doomsday based?

Our Doomsday displays are gonna be so funny. We get all the minifig characters and then there’s Brickheadz Gambit sticking out like a sore thumb like “imabouttomakeanameformyselfhere”

GAMBIT!!!! It’s confirmed that Doomsday Brickheadz 4 pack includes Gambit

I’m pretty upset about no Walker or Gambit. I feel like No Namor is also a bit lame, but at least we’ll have Zombie Namor. Overall a nice selection of figs. I got most of the characters I wanted

I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the figure list for Avengers Tower. All I want is Sentry Lego please give me Sentry

Out of the rest of the characters, I’d really want: Sentry, Loki (not gonna happen), Gambit, Steve Rogers, Namor (not gonna happen I feel). One of the slots in the tower will go to Doom since he’s seemingly in all the sets

I'm actually crying bro they got me real excited for Hydra Cap for a moment… obviously not blaming the leakers too much just think it's incredibly funny. A red and dark gray quinjet would be incredible though, esp with Cyclops included. I'm still hyped

I swear Lego these days is such a good indicator of box office success lol: They made Minecraft movie sets last year. We were all puzzled—movie became a smash hit. They bailed out on making Minions & Monsters sets—movie underperformed. They bailed out on making Thunderbolts sets—movie underperformed. They made a Project Hail Mary set—movie became a cultural phenomenon. They didn't make live action Moana sets—movie is a flop. They skipped Avatar 3—that movie underperformed. They’re bailing out on the DCU—the franchise is struggling. I guess their only miss is Mando and Grogu, but still kind of funny how many bullets they’ve seemingly dodged

I hate the state of DC right now. We’re arguably in a much worse position now cinematically than we were back at the start of the DCEU. At least that franchise was commercially successful initially. I doubt Lego will stop making Batman sets because he’s still the man, but yeah I would be very surprised if we get a full non-Batman wave ever again, that is, unless miracle happens and the DCU or the next reboot explodes to pre Endgame MCU levels

Hate saying this but Lego might be right to skip out on the DCU sets given Supergirl’s abysmal performance. I’m giving up hope for MOT sets next year

Yeah Lego has never skipped out on Spiderman movie main villains so I’m really hoping they don’t for this one either if the villain is none of the ones we’ve seen from the sets

Do we think we’re getting a second wave of Brand New Day sets down the line? Like if the villain is none of the villains who appeared in the sets?
