A TIE submarine would be an excellent set if it has a really long periscope.

I would argue that Space Mountain is the next most iconic structure, even if you don't have the ride itself. Spaceship Earth would be the other big one, but I would think that one's too boring to sell particularly well. Short of doing a different castle, Main Street or one of of the actual rides are the best options. And Main Street is itself a little too generic, IMO. It would feel more like a mini-modular set than a Disney set. The Contemporary is pretty recognizable too, but there's no way they'd do a hotel unless it was part of a really big monorail set. A monorail set would, of course, be an instant hit with long-time Lego fans, but what would you put with it to make it appeal to kids and to really make it a Disney Monorail? I don't really think it would be the Contemporary.

Next Disney set could also possibly be something like the Jungle Cruise, Pirates, or one of the coasters (Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, or Matterhorn) or of course the monorail. All of those would also work nicely in a fairground.

As someone who owns a Phantom II set, I would much rather get a Phantom I with the Ghost! Maybe we can get Ghost when... (DO NOT READ THIS SPOILER, @Kit Figsto. Not under any circumstances before seeing the series finale!!!)

Yup. I think it looks really good in person, especially if you get the eyelids in a good spot. Lego did itself no favors with those box photos. I suspect they were rendered and didn't have the benefit of good "lighting". -
I'll take as many minifigs as I can get! But the whole F1 top 10 thing has to mean something. Maybe 10 exclusives plus a few that are repeats from another set? That would be pretty excellent, IMO.
-
As spoiler free as I can get: I would happily go for a UCS Ghost. I have the original. I paid a decent premium for it after it retired, but nothing like what it costs now. It's a good set, but I agree that a bigger one could be MUCH better. Your list of minifigs is probably what I would expect with the Ghost, but I think Fulcrum would be another excellent inclusion that would please everybody, including. Callus would also be a logical inclusion if they want an Imperial.
-
The meaning of the riddle seems to most likely be that Fred and George (from the parody channel's names with them) are in the top 10 (cannot change tires between). Maybe 10 minifigs and those are confirmed to be in it? I thought we already knew that they were included, but maybe he's just confirming it in a different way? And maybe this confirms 10 minifigs? Did we know that before?

Seems like the set is more like non-licensed Tower of Terror than a "fairground" ride. But the roller coaster is also way bigger than what would be at a temporary fair as well, so I don't see that as a criticism at all. "Fairground" is probably a close enough synonym for "amusement park" for these purposes. I'm definitely excited for the idea that this could be a clear sign of a continuing line of sets. Now I just need to Roller Coaster to go on sale so I can justify buying it! ($380 is STEEP)...

The set being a Mandalorian set would make sense with the #. It might be taking a little longer to nail down all the details on something like a buildable figure than on the Razorcrest and the Brickheadz. Those are both relatively simple designs, IMO. They're good, just not super intricate. As for the spoiler, well... That's disappointing. -
Apollo 11 Lunar Lander has the shiny gold stickers, but does also have some gold ink (I think that's the color name) pieces as well. It looks ok for that purpose. But that set is naturally broken up by the design of the craft, which separates the different sections of gold nicely. Unfortunately, for the J-type 327 Nubian, I think it'd be hard to pull off the same way. You'd really need the entire exterior to be Metallic Silver. I'm sure designers from other lines would love to play with a wide variety of tiles, slopes, etc. in that color! :) I imagine that ship will only be viable as a UCS set, and it might have to be a little smaller than people would want, to keep the piece count down a little to account for the number of pieces that would be needed in a new color. But that set would probably set really well even for piecing things out.

Yes, seeing her lekku and montrals (the horns) would be really interesting in Brickheadz. I have seen a couple fan attempts, but they were only ok-ish. And yes, in case I wasn't clear enough, I would prefer a minifig if it's either or. But I'd love both, since she might be my favorite Jedi at this point. -

I would be extremely happy if they made a good Ahsoka vs Maul Brickheadz set! ... in addition to minifigs of both! I have both recent Mauls, so I really only need Ahsoka, but their duel would be a nice addition to the current duel line. So... the mystery set may or may not exist. That’s exciting. But do we still have nothing at all on a possible fall UCS/MBS/whatever large set? Or is the AT-AT possibly going to be it this year? (Aside from the A-Wing as the May 4 UCS set, obviously) -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

For those looking to pick up Corner Garage and Bookshop, they are currently back up for "Backorder" at the US shop.lego.com site. Assembly Square and the Diner are currently listed as "Temporarily Out of Stock". If you're desperate for a particular set that is not officially retired, it might be worth checking daily. -

stupid dead sheep shoes. Why do people do that? EDIT: LOL. I have no idea how "stupid dead sheep shoes." ended up in this message. -
I've never seen Amazon itself list a Lego set for anything above the Lego retail price. If you're seeing a set listed for more than the Lego price, it's 99% likely to be a third-party affiliate seller. The prices on the sets from affiliates can seem to fluctuate a lot because there are often a bunch of affiliates selling the sets, all at a different price. They also don't usually have much stock, so if the one with the lowest prices sells their 1 or 2 sets, you'll see a price jump.

I really enjoy it too, but the motor is much louder than I had expected. I had never used the Lego power stuff before setting it up with the Ferris Wheel and Carousel. They're so loud it's quite distracting.

December 2019. It apparently sold very poorly. And will probably end up being the only set ever in the Master Builder Series, even if they make another large playset style set again (a la Ewok Village, Assault on Hoth, and Betrayal at Cloud City/Bespin). -
For the May 4th GWP, $74.98 is not doing the job like it has in the past ($59.99 helmet + $14.99 battle pack, for example). Might still have to do Burrow plus a cheap trinket. That's still easier than Privet Drive plus a bunch of trinkets, but the easiest might be Privet Drive + Hedwig, if you plan to get both of those. Although I'm basing that entirely on US pricing, so your NL pricing might work very differently to get to your threshold.

The trick is to add something in stock but cheap. They will ship the in-stock item and the GWP immediately. Otherwise, you run the significant risk that they're out of stock of the GWP when they ship the pre-order item. I do not know that they have the ability to set aside the GWP for months. I could be wrong though. -

I hadn’t seen Landino on this leak. I only saw it from someone else. So, I guess it’s real. Still think the speeder bike is odd, but I’ll snap up the set for sure. Don’t have any ATATs. -

I admit I’m skeptical of that leak. I know there’s an official image of an ATAT with a speeder bike garage, but we never saw that in any of the movies or series. And it makes even less sense in an ESB 40th Anniversary set because we didn’t see a speeder bike like that until ROTJ. -

I'm sure the Action Battle sets will be on sale. They've been on sale several times before. I was really hoping for Tantive IV. They've often had a May 4 deal on the previous year's UCS set. If the sale looks like this in the US though, I will probably order one helmet and a battle pack or microfighter to get to the $75 mark and call it for the weekend. -

Wow, those are terribly lame sales! I hope that's just the beginning and other sets will go on sale later in the weekend.
