  1. It was working earlier. I think the video was removed by LEGOClubTV on Youtube, I don't know why.
  2. What do you think is more worth the money, the Fire Brigade or the Pet Shop? I know the Fire Brigade is going to get discontinued soon but, to me anyway, that doesn't matter - I'm more interested in buying one of those sets for pieces for MOCing.
  3. Good idea! But how would you attach the bags together? Oh I know, use the sellotape that seals a Lego set's box and lid together - surely that would be allowed? After all it is sort of to do with official Lego pieces, and it is included in official sets
  4. I'm actually quite impressed with the set, its much better than I expected although the pieces would probably be cheaper to order from Bricklink. And that creeper head reminds me of space invaders for some reason! The shape of the box is also pretty fitting to the set!
  5. Thanks for finding these new pictures Grogall. That woman's got an interesting looking camera Its also nice to know that the new brick seperator is included. I still don't get where the lift is though.
  6. I think people only list the instuction manuals for sale out of sets they parted out to sell the minifigures, just to see if they can make some extra cash. Not that i've ever seen any bids on instructions.
  7. I'd love to enter but I have one question. Are we allowed to make our models watertight by covering certain areas with clingfilm or other watertight materials?
  8. Great model, the octan colors make it really stand out! Are you planning on doing more Speed Racer scale cars?
  9. Nice rebuild! Are you going to include shots of the interior when its completed?
  10. Hello and today I thought i'd share my pretty basic, but reconisable snow sculpture I made when it snowed in the UK the other day. Its not a great photo but it does the purpose...
  11. A couple of photos of my Holiday Pick A Brick box. Considering stores in the UK have fairly bad selections, I'm quite pleased with my haul. Plus, the best part, all of the 314 pieces I got for free! I those Holiday Pick A Brick boxes. Using some simple stacking techniques, I built a solid cube in the shape of the box and used the prison doors as fillers (note the 1x1s with clips inside the windscreens). When taken apart, it came out as this... ...probably the best of the UK PAB's selection!
  12. Loving the Seaside House! The palm tree and wave techniques scream creator! And all of those medium blue bricks and POP arches
  13. You could also order specific parts from Bricklink or Pick A Brick Online. The only downside is you have to know the names and categories of parts, and what exact pieces you need for your creations.
  14. I've found what could possibly be the Minecraft set:
  15. I managed to get my hands on a Building The Magical World book (with the exclusive Harry minifigure) from a discount book seller for only £3, saving over £12!
  16. Thanks for all of the great feedback everyone! If time and my wallet allow it, I might make 42 other NASACARs to go with it so I can have a proper race I've now tried it and it really covers up a huge portion of the gap, thank you!
  17. V-LV-56A Hello and today, I will be showing my Chevrolet Impala NASCAR. As with most of my car models, it seats one minifigure and took around one night to build. In this shot you can see the size of the Impala, along with the multiple stickered pieces from the Tiny Turbos set 8125 Thunder Raceway for the sponsers of a real NASCAR. One of the only parts of the car i'm not totally happy with is the front windscreen - I might cover the bottom part with some white tape to give it "lower" look. The alternate views show the shape of the car and the sign (also from 8125) attached to the roof to create the racing number. Another minor problem is the 1x1 wedge sized gap near the rear wheel arch, which unless Lego invent a reverse cheese wedge ( ) is not really possible to fix. I hope you liked my Chevrolet Impala NASCAR and comments or sugestions for improvement are more than welcome!
  18. Great model! I especially like the overflowing sink and the puddle built into the floor
  19. Thanks for all the great feedback and suggestions everyone - I allways like hearing ways I can improve my models! I could (and would) have added a 1x1 in the gap to fill it up but I cannot find a way to attach it securly. Ta da: Thank you, i'll modify the back to include those pieces. I originally planned to build a hard top version of the Veyron but after trying (and failing) to come up with a suitable roof, I just gave up with it and left the Bugatti how it was.
  20. Brilliant creation DutchTreat! The use of clone trooper helmets for statues is a great idea. Does it have an interior?
  21. V-LV-57A Hello and today I thought I'd share a Bugatti Veyron model I made a while ago but never got round to photographing. I first got the idea of making a Bugatti when I saw this piece, thinking it would make a great front grille if turned upside-down, which I managed to achieve using a very complicated technique. Anyway, lets see some pics! Here the proud owner poses next to his million dollar masterpiece. And some more angles and views of the Veyron including the black stripe running through the middle, the leather seating and the upside down grille piece. I hope you liked my Bugatti Veyron and suggestions for improvement are always welcome! This is the first in a series of minifigure scale cars that I will be posting on Eurobricks, so look out for more coming soon
  22. A big issue (apart from the playability, price, small-ish target market...) with a Minecraft set would be the stability. How are stacks of 2x2 bricks every going to make it through the stability testing process of designing a Lego set?
  23. Great details, and the lighting is excellent in the first shot, but I agree that you need at least one slytherin statue or banner - surely slytherin students want to show their pride of being in such a noble house? It could be a weekend at Hogwarts or the first years were the first to get changed?
  24. Yes that is a transparent green skull you see, and it is found in one belville set. We all wish LEGO would do a Hogsmeade exclusive set
  25. Excellent creation The Penguin, I love the small but important details you included as well as the choice of stickers - they really make it stand out!
